Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 53 war brewing...

Upon reaching the gate, the gatekeeper hurriedly stepped up to greet the woman.

"Miss Chu Su, why are you here?" he asked, smiling.

"I'm here to see my brother," Chu Su responded coldly.

Gasps echoed through the crowd as they observed the cold beauty, and noted how the once-powerful gatekeeper seemed to be bending to her will.

"Oh... you mean..." the gatekeeper trailed off, recalling the earlier chariot. He glanced behind her and noticed Shen Ye standing calmly, seemingly unfazed.

*"Will I need to escape from here?"* Shen Ye thought to himself, his expression calm.

"Who is this man to you?" the gatekeeper asked.

"He's a disciple of my master," Chu Su said coolly. The gatekeeper sighed in relief.

"He killed your brother," the gatekeeper added, and the crowd froze as the atmosphere grew thick with tension. The very air around them became stifling, pressing down on their bodies.

"You killed him?" Chu Su turned slowly, her voice as cold as ice.

*"Thank God I broke through to Rank 1 after absorbing that energy. I might survive her onslaught long enough to escape,"* Shen Ye thought, remaining calm.

"Yes," Shen Ye confirmed without hesitation, a strange coldness emanating from him. But just as quickly as the tension rose, it dissipated.

"Good," Chu Su said, turning away. "He was a disappointment, wasting his life with drink and women. What a waste." Without another word, she strode past Shen Ye, heading towards the mountain.

Shen Ye was visibly shocked as he watched her walk away. *"Is it my aura... or is she just naturally like this?"* he wondered.

"But I hope you're ready for the Shinlong Kingdom's endless pursuit when you leave the sect," Chu Su called over her shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"I'm ready," Shen Ye chuckled, following her.

*"One step closer to my goal,"* he thought, clenching his fists as his sister's adorable face flashed through his mind.

Far above the clouds, their master sat watching, his mouth twitching in disbelief, his face even more unsightly than usual. Beside him, a cheerful dragon bounded around, clearly enjoying itself.

"I can't believe it... I don't even know my own disciple well," the master muttered, while the dragon hopped around excitedly, its stubby hands raised in triumph.

With a resigned sigh, the master brought his gourd closer to the dragon. "Fine, fine... just a sip, okay?" he said, and the dragon nodded eagerly.

The dragon took a sniff of the strong wine, and the sweet, sour aroma hit its senses, leaving it tipsy from just the smell. A satisfied look spread across its face as it lay on its back, legs up, eyes half-closed in bliss.

"Heh, you finally got what you wanted," the master chuckled, looking at the content dragon.

"Your father would be furious if he knew what I let you do," the man said with a smile, before vanishing into the air with the dragon.

After all, he was the infamous demon sword that had thrown this world into chaos thousands of years ago.

Void, Linkir, and Anya finally exited the vast kingdom.

"Finally... and today, I turn two years old," Void said with a laugh, causing Anya's eyes to widen in shock.

*He's this powerful at just two years old?*

During their journey, Void frequently paused to explore random places, using Linkir and Anya for his own amusement, whether sparring with them or making them massage him.

"Well, slaves... I guess I'm overshadowing your chance to shine. Why don't we split up?" Void suggested with a grin.

In her naivety, Anya nodded, her mind already planning how to find her brother and escape.

Seeing this, Void's grin widened. "A perfect gift for my second birthday," Void said, stepping towards Anya.

"No... no!" Anya backed away in fear.

Why did it have to be like this? She had awakened a powerful bloodline, and she had felt strong. But this man... no, this *demon*—no, this *thing* of ultimate chaos—was here to destroy everything she held dear.

In desperation, Anya turned to Linkir. "Linkir, please, help me!" she begged, her voice small and trembling, tears streaming down her face.

Linkir clenched her fists, a single tear escaping her closed eyes, but she didn't move.

"Help me... please..." Anya's sobs grew louder before she collapsed to the ground.

Hours later, Void walked out, feeling refreshed, with two figures—one beautiful, the other adorable—standing silently behind him. Any man would desire these women, but for Void, they were merely tools. He didn't care for them.

"Aah, what a joke," Void muttered. Caring? He cared about nothing. Not even his...

His thoughts trailed off, and he hesitated.

*"This could become a problem,"* Void thought as he stepped into a new area. His mind wandered back to the incubus and the 33 other demons he had left behind.

"They should've laid their eggs by now. I wonder how my kids are doing," Void said aloud, laughing, making Anya and Linkir exchange confused glances.

Void was troubled, not by the thought of his children, as demons lacked any real parental feelings. What really bothered him were the memories of his own parents. Despite everything, they were the thorn in his heart, tying him to his human past.

"Step back," Void ordered. Both Anya and Linkir quickly retreated, moving hundreds of meters away.

Void knelt down and softly punched the ground twice, creating two deep holes, six meters each, and then disappeared for a few moments before returning with two humanoid beings. They were elves, male and female, their striking beauty captivating both Anya and Linkir.

Void gently placed their bodies into the graves he had dug and covered them with dirt.

"Mother, Father... this represents your grave and our final separation. You may be dead, but the memories we shared remain. I thank you for everything, but now your son is dead, too—dead with that planet. I am a new being. On his behalf, I thank you for all you did in my past life.

From this moment, we go our separate ways."

Void closed his eyes as he felt a large weight shatter inside him. This was the last chain binding him to his former identity, and now it was broken.

*Ding!*

Void heard the system's sound as he broke through to low-level Rank 2.

**Deep within the forest...**

This was the home of one of the most beautiful and nature-friendly races—the elves. Giant trees clustered together, but in the center of the forest stood one that was immeasurably large, its peak lost to the heavens. This was the legendary Elf Tree.

Inside the tree, seated on a throne made from the revered World Tree, sat the Elf Queen. The throne, emerald in color, radiated a vibrant life force.

"My Queen," an elf soldier entered, kneeling before her.

"Rise and speak," the queen said, her voice enchanting yet firm.

"Yes, my Queen," the soldier replied. "We've lost two scouts today. Their bodies haven't been found."

The Elf Queen's expression darkened. "Search the forest for their remains. You may leave."

The soldier bowed and departed.

The queen was troubled. *All of our scouts are elites... what could have possibly killed them? Has the war already begun?* she thought, her mind racing with possibilities.

**Meanwhile, Shen Ye...**

Shen Ye discovered that the second house he'd come across was actually built for him. His master had apparently foreseen something and constructed it a few days earlier. When Shen Ye asked how, the master simply replied that he had "interfered with fate."

Entering the house, Shen Ye marveled at its size. Though it seemed small from the outside, the interior was massive, larger than any mansion. Shen Ye explored every corner for hours, appreciating each detail.

That evening, his senior sister coldly delivered some cultivation techniques to him. Shen Ye thanked her, unfazed by her chilly demeanor, and immersed himself in the study of the techniques.

"It says here that to cultivate, I must abandon all previous methods," Shen Ye murmured with a smile. *I never even had a cultivation technique to begin with.*

Shen Ye quickly absorbed the knowledge, advancing rapidly in his cultivation. By nightfall, he had already broken through to the middle level of Rank 1.

He clenched his fists, feeling the surge of power within him, yet he knew it was still insufficient to face Void.

"Void... I will find you, and I will kill you," Shen Ye vowed, his determination hardening as he continued to study the techniques. His devouring ability allowed him to absorb energy from the very air around him—a perfect match for his skills.

**Inside the World Tree... one day later**

The soldier returned to report. "We found nothing, my Queen," she said.

"I see... you may leave," the Elf Queen replied, rising from her throne.

*Have they forgotten my name?* she thought, her expression turning cold. *It's time I step outside... I wonder how that little sword demon is faring,* she mused, a slight blush coloring her cheeks.

**In a distant mountain... far from the Quinlan sect**

A man sat, holding his pet dragon in one hand and a flask of wine in the other.

"Achoo!" he sneezed, then chuckled.

"I never knew this wine was this spicy," he said with a grin.

---

**At the sixth layer of space...**

A massive space rift had formed, consuming a large seal. Beside it stood Asmodeous, watching with satisfaction.

"Finally, I've freed one," he thought, smiling. "Those damned angels..."

He gritted his teeth as his ever-shifting form shimmered beside his clone.

"Once I break through, this clone will reunite with the main body, and we will ascend to middle-level Rank 5," Asmodeous said to his clone.

"Yes," the clone replied, mirroring his words.

Just a few thousand more years remained until their full ascension.

**In a low-level universe...**

In a world engulfed by fire, a towering figure sat, 4 meters in height. Parademons flew overhead as Darkseid listened to a report from one of his subordinates.

"So, the so-called Justice League has been destroyed by that primordial demon, no trace at all ?" Darkseid asked, frowning.

"Yes, my lord," the subordinate replied.

"Very well. Leave me," Darkseid ordered, focusing his attention on the experiment before him.

"As you wish, my lord," the subordinate responded and left.

In front of Darkseid, a hunched figure was busy with a scientific experiment.

"Soon, my lord, you will have the bloodline of the primordial demon," the figure said, bowing.

"I hope so," Darkseid replied with a smile.

Suddenly, another subordinate burst into the room, shouting in panic.

"My lord, we are under attack!" he yelled.

Darkseid's frown deepened. "By whom?" he asked.

"A monkey," the subordinate replied nervously.

*Shizz!* Two omega beams shot out from Darkseid's eyes, disintegrating the subordinate instantly.

"A monkey?" Darkseid repeated, his voice low and dangerous.

*Boom!*

The ground beneath his feet trembled violently. That "monkey" had arrived.
