Ding! Ding! Ding!
[You have slain "Kaelthor, Ember Wing Fire Dragon" and gained 320,000,000 experience points!]
[You have slain "Vorrak, Infernal Flame Dragon" and gained 340,000,000 experience points!]
[You have slain "Zyrran, Electric Dragon" and gained 310,000,000 experience points!]
Ding!
[+970,000,000 experience points!]
This was almost a billion experience points, and so of course, Alex leveled up.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
[You have reached level 344, gained 5 attribute points to all stats and 4 points to assign.]
.
.
[You have reached level 347, gained 5 attribute points to all stats and 4 points to assign.]
[+4 skill points.]
[Level: 347 (182,834,821/211,000,000)]
He assigned as he assigned his attribute points to Spirit like always.
Then as he walked over to the nearest corpse, Zyrran, Alex opened his palm and activated [Extraction], his eyes narrowing in anticipation of the rewards.
Ding!
[Extracting resources from "Zyrran, Electric Dragon"]
The process began, a shimmering light enveloping the dragon's body.
Moments later, the system notifications rolled in:
[Zyrran's Electric Core (Legendary)]
[Description: A core filled with pure electric energy. Essential for crafting or upgrading electric-based artifacts.]
[Zyrran's Scales (Epic)]
[Description: Highly conductive scales that enhance lightning resistance. Ideal for armor.]

[Electric Storm Skill (Legendary)]
[Description: Grants the active skill "Electric Storm," capable of summoning a devastating lightning storm.]
Alex couldn't help but grin.
And of course, whenever a new skill popped up, especially one that was legendary, there was nothing else to do but to take it.
Ding!
[You have extracted "Electric Storm Skill"]
[Electric Storm (Basic): Summons a devastating lightning storm dealing 1,000,000 damage to anyone caught within it; consumes 50,000 mana; 30-seconds cooldown.]
In fact, Alex even tried to combine it with [Fury of Thunder].
[Electric Storm (Basic) + Fury of Thunder (Max-Tier) = ??? (Max-Tier)]
And it worked!
But Alex didn't do it for two simple reasons: if he did that, the mana cost would probably rise enough for him to not even be able to use it.
And second, he wanted to upgrade it first.
You might ask why he would do that when the skill is gonna be Max-Tier anyway.
Well that's because if he upgraded [Electric Storm] to its max form, then combined it with [Fury of Thunder], the damage output would be much higher.
These skills were combined, meaning that though they would Max-Tier regardless, their damage would increase massively, and of course, their mana would too.
He moved next to Kaelthor and repeated the process.

[Extracting resources from "Kaelthor, Ember Wing Fire Dragon"]
[Kaelthor's Ember Core (Legendary)]
[A blazing core that amplifies fire magic.]
[Ember Dragon Scales (Epic)]
[Description: Lightweight and heat-resistant, perfect for crafting fireproof gear.]
[Ember Dragon Wings (Mythical)]
[Can only be used by the Dragon Race, used to fly.]
He didn't even hesitate.
Ding!
[You have extracted "Ember Dragon Wings" (Mythical)]
They could become useful, especially if he gained the dragon race/bloodline.
Finally, he turned to Vorrak.
Ding!
[Extracting resources from "Vorrak, Infernal Flame Dragon"]
This time though there were no prompts, it was a direct extraction.
Ding!
[You have extracted "Infernal Core" (Mythical)]
[Description: A molten core brimming with destructive fire energy, also could be used for ???]
A part of the description was hidden, it was the third time this happened.
He pocketed the items into his inventory, already planning how to use them.
With that done, though, Alex simply stood there.
"I mean, I did what Alphox said, so other than killing monsters there's nothing to do..."
[+30,000 points.]
Killing the dragons had also given him more than enough points
[Current Points: 82,670]
[Position: 1st]
He was pretty much already set for the challenge too, as no one would be able to reach that threshold.
[Top 1: FateBreaker - 82,670 Points]
[Top 2: StarPillow - 45,700 Points]
[Top 3: Fallen Devil - 37,900 Points]
[Top 4: Muscles - 35,270 Points]
[Top 5: Aurelia - 35,150 Points]
[Top 6: Tricky - 34,890 Points]
[Top 7: MartialMage - 32,880 Points]
[Top 8: Donut - 32,740 Points]
[Top 9: Transcendance - 31,300 Points]
[Top 10: Miria - 31,250 Points]
The top 10 ranking was pretty much already set as the same people remained there, though Alex was surprised to see Alice this high.
Even though he was gaining around 5,000 points per monster killed, the archer girl still somehow managed to get more than 40,000 points.
Opening up his [World Map], Alex noticed that she was in fact in the third floor: Night Plains.
And alongside her were some of the top ranking players, each in their own corner.
Except...
"Wait a minute," Alex zooming in into Alice's dot, and once he did, he noticed that she was with someone as there was another dot right next to hers.
The ID was... Aurelia.
"Her..." Alex mumbled, his gaze turning grim.
He didn't know whether her and Alice were fighting, but if so, then he was confident the latter would win thanks to her arrows.
Regardless, now that he was done with point gathering, the only thing left to do was to try and climb to the sixth floor.
Though he knew this would be suicide, especially now that he had just struggled against 3 level 600 Mythical Bosses.
There would be more terrifying beings above, so he needed to become stronger before attempting that since some of them could have [Soul Attacks].
He had a long time to reach the level to kill level 1000 monsters, but until then, all he could do was upgrade his skills, gear and gather more connections in the game.
The [Double Experience Zone] gave better experience points anyway, so he would much rather go back there even with the risk of encountering angels.
Though there was a problem.
Beep!
[You cannot teleport out of the Tower of Destiny.]
Even when he tried to leave, something was stopping him.
Just like no one could escape this place before the examination ended, he was put on the same rules even with his spatial artifact.
So after trying a few more times, Alex simply sighed.
"Well, I might as well see what Alice is up to," he mumbled, opening up the map and displaying the section of the [Tower of Destiny]. Stay tuned with empire
On there, every floor from 1 to 5 was added to the list of places he could teleport at.
[Spawn location will be randomized every time.]
"Doesn't matter," he shrugged as he clicked on [Floor 3: Night Plains], vanishing in a blue light.
