Chapter 2: For You
Chapter 2: For You
"Where is Weiss?!" Raven inquired, still finding it a little difficult to speak. Fortunately, he had noticeably improved from before.
The doctor and the Head Butler exchanged a glance before the doctor gave a slight shake of his head.
In a hushed tone, he said, "He has just regained consciousness. We shouldn't burden him with additional stress at this point."
As he reached for an injection from a nearby drawer, he turned to Raven.
"After a prolonged slumber, your body may feel frail and vulnerable. Therefore, it is essential to prioritize your healing above all other matters. Avoid distractions and concentrate solely on restoring your health first."
He carefully inspected the injection, ensuring that there were no remaining air bubbles present, and then approached Raven, extending the syringe towards the young man's hand.
Surprisingly, Raven slapped away his stretched hands and pushed the injection aside, demanding an answer to his question.
Even though his body was weak, that didn't mean he was a child. He couldn't be distracted that easily.
Currently, more than his recovery, his mind was focused on his brother. That strange sight of his brother before he woke up, and now this... Something didn't feel right.

The syringe slipped from the doctor's grasp, landing on the ground with a soft thud. He glanced back at Raven, expressing mild irritation, but also sympathizing with the young man's situation.
Just two years prior to his coma, Raven experienced the loss of both his parents. Upon awakening from his coma, he learned that his brother had also gone missing. His emotional distress wasn't surprising.
"Fine. Tell him."
In the end, he gave the head butler permission to tell Raven. Since Raven wasn't listening, it was better to give him what he wanted. Only when he realized how helpless his brother's situation was, could he agree to further treatment without resistance.
The Head Butler appeared uncertain, but upon catching sight of Raven's worried yet feeble gaze, he began to speak. "Five years ago, right around the time when you went into a coma..."
"What happened five years ago?" Raven furrowed his brow, attempting to sit upright. However, he found that he didn't have the strength to do so.
Luckily, the butler came to his aid and assisted him in sitting up while also positioning the pillow to provide extra support for his back.
"Hellfire..." The old man spoke only one word, but that one word was enough to stun Raven. This was a name he had seen many times on the screen that appeared before him! He still had no idea what Hellfire was!
As if noticing the confusion on Raven's face, the Butler further continued. "Hellfire was the name of an app that appeared in every device at the same time on the day you went into a coma."
"At first, people thought this was some virus. However, no matter what one tried, they couldn't remove the app from their phone. Most people couldn't even open that app. It was like a dead app."
"Only some people were able to open the app. However, all those who managed to do so, disappeared soon after. Initially, no one knew why some people could open the app while the others couldn't."
"However, one thing was common between all those people who managed to open the app..." The Butler stated.
"What thing?" Raven asked, frowning.
The memory of the elusive message on the screen urging him to join Hellfire was still fresh in his mind. He couldn't shake off the feeling that his experiences over the past five years were somehow linked to the app.
"They all reported seeing a screen that talked about them receiving some kind of Exclusive Skill..." As the Butler spoke more, Raven was even more taken aback. "However, all of them talked about different skills. No two people received the same skills."
The Head Butler related to him all the information that had been gathered about the app thus far.
According to him, Hellfire was the name of a new and unknown world, and only the app could provide access to a mythical, game-like realm that was brimming with secrets of the universe.
Unfortunately, the information that he could gather was limited as no one knew what happened once one disappeared.
"Young Master Weiss was amongst the ones who entered Hellfire, disappearing forever... No one who entered Hellfire ever managed to return. So the hope for Young Master Weiss-"
"Enough!" Raven intervened, guessing what the Head Butler was about to say. However, he couldn't accept that! There was no way that his brother was dead.
As for the vision that he saw before he woke up, he refused to believe it! There was no way!
"Nothing will happen to him! I'll bring that idiot back!"
Even though his face was pale and his body frail, his eyes revealed the same old determination that he used to have when he managed Astral Corporation worth hundreds of billions! It was the dignity of the Astral heir!
Still, he was quite furious that his brother took such a risk. There was no need for his brother to enter Hellfire, even if he received some skill!
"That fool! I thought he matured after our parents' death, but to think that he would still do something so foolish!"
Even though he was angry. However, most of that anger was because he cared about his brother. No matter what the world of Hellfire was, he had to find his brother!
"You idiot... Why would you do it? Why didn't you live safely in this world when I went to sleep!" Raven revealed a desolate look.
He didn't want to be left alone in this world. He didn't want to lose someone else after his parents. Weiss was the only family he had left! The two of them had grown up together, only having one year of age difference.
Looking at Raven's expressions, the Head Butler also felt bad. However, he could also understand why Weiss did this.
"He did it for you..." Even though he didn't want to speak of it, in the end, he couldn't control himself.
Raven lifted his gaze, furrowing his brow. "What do you mean?"
"He did it for you," the old man continued. "When you went into a coma, none of the doctors had any idea as to why that happened. It was not normal. However, Hellfire also appeared at the same time."
The Head Butler stepped closer to the bed, sitting at the edge.
"Young Master Weiss thought that what happened to you was related to Hellfire. That also made him believe that the way to save you was also inside the world of Hellfire."
"Most people went to Hellfire because it was said to contain many mystical treasures and even a way to become a god. But Young Master Weiss wasn't interested in that. He only went there to find a method to wake you up. Alas he... he never returned..."
As the Butler spoke, his voice kept getting lower and lower, as if he was blaming himself for not stopping Weiss.
"For me...?" Raven muttered, dazed, taken aback. So it was all because of him?!
He still remembered how his parents died. Until now, he still blamed himself for what happened that day to his parents. And now his brother too... Because of him?!
The Butler couldn't help but raise his head, looking up. "If he knew that you were awake, he would've been so happy..."
"He's not dead!" Raven insisted, clenching his fist. "I'll bring that little brat back, even if I had to dig Hellfire inside out!"
"You can't! We can't lose you too! That place... There's no way to return after you go there!" The old butler already believed that Weiss was dead! He didn't want Raven to go there, only to end up getting trapped there as well!
Unfortunately, no matter how much he tried to convince Raven, the young man just didn't listen. It was as if his mind was already made up!
He was going to enter Hellfire, starting a new era that no one could imagine... Not even the gods…
