Chapter 198: Palkus’ Journey! 15

While Adena was already done with her prey, the Tuskas brothers and Allan had yet to seriously confront their enemies.

"Sis, let's go!" Tuskas and Tuskina tapped their fists together while running towards the lizards.

{Earth Splitters}

Tuskas, whose speed was so fast to make him appear blurry, suddenly jumped, putting both his hands behind his back. Suddenly, two one-edged blades appeared in his hands, their handles golden and short.

The variant orc focused on a lizard who was gazing back at him, ready to launch its deadly poison at any time.

*Slash* *Slash*

Unfortunately, before it could even could even think of doing so, the young man, at speed surpassing that of sound, sent to slashes flying towards it.

"Squeaaaaak!" The lizard, which had two slashes on its back, slittered around, trying to run away.

"Leave it to me." Tuskina, who had disappeared for a second, appeared in front of the running lizard.

*BOOOM*

"Squea-"

*BOOOM*

two earth shattering punches, one after the other, made sure the lizard would never get up again.

Without stopping to take a rest, the siblings vanished once again, their target being the rest of the lizards.

*Slash* *Slash* *BOOOM* *Slash* *BOOM* *Slash*

The duo showed unfathomable cooperation; the second one slashed, the other punched, ending the lives of the second and third lizard before the fourth could react.

"Haa!" Tuskina appeared right of the fourth lizard, taking it by surprise.

*Crunch* *Fwshhh*

Kicking the poor monster with her legs, the lizard was sent flying. While it was still flying towards the wall, Tuskas, who was waiting for the right moment to strike, readied his blades.

*Clack* *Clank*

{Tuskas Swordsmanship: Six Flashes!}

*Fwshh*

Before the lizard could realize what was happening, 4 parts of its body fell to the ground, slittering wildly.

"Last one!" The siblings stood side by side, staring at the last lizard, which was looking back at them in fear.

Meanwhile, on the side, Allan was dealing with the B-ranks.

"ROOOOOAR!" The ogres roared in anger as their buff chests heaved in anger, looking at their dead brother.

"Now, now, No need to be so sad. You'll be following him soon! Karga, Donald." Allan called out to his two spirits, a wind fairy made entirely of green elemental light and a water penguin.

"Kakakaka!" Donald, the penguin, laughed happily as if flapped its tiny arms.

"Leave it to me, Master!" Karga, the wind spirit, announced.

"GROAAAAR!" The two lone seekers, the other B-rank monsters, ran towards Allan and his spirits, wanting to slash them to death.

"RAAAAAAA!" Approaching Allan from the other side, were the angry ogres, their heavy steps making the entire cave quake with them.

However, before the monsters could approach, something stalled them. As if an invisible barrier stood against them, they couldn't cross a certain.

"Gr- Gra-" Suddenly, one of the lone seekers started floating to the sky, an invisible hand holding him by the neck.

"My turn." Seeing that his wind spirit was doing her job, Allan summoned out a spear as he slowly walked towards the monsters, the penguin floating next to him.

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

The ogres hadn't given up, hitting the air wall again and again in an attempt to pass forward to kill Allan.

"Didn't I tell you not to be sad?" Allan said, starting to pick up his speed.

"Kaaaaa!" The penguin raised its speed to follow its master scream, with concentrated water drills forming and following behind it.

*Crack*

The lone seeker, which had been floating under Karga's spell, had its neck snapped before it dropped to the ground. Before the other monster could understand what happened to its mate, it started floating too.

"Good job, Karga!" Allan had just reached the wind barrier when this happened, as he complimented his wind spirit. The wind spirit, hearing this, smiled warmly, and at the same time, she dropped the wind barrier, allowing the ogres to pass.

But, if they knew what fate awaited them, they would rather stay behind the air wall.

"HA!" Allan suddenly disappeared, only to appear behind an ogre, holding his spear's handle close to the blade.

*Pkh* *Thump*

With a single thrust, the ogre who had been in front of him had a hole in its head as it fell down, leaving only 2 more ogres.

"ROOOOOOOAR!" The ogres got angrier, seeing as another brother of theirs had died. The closest one to Allan launched himself at him, trying to catch him with his hands and smash him to the ground. Unfortunately, a B-rank had no chance against an SSS-rank who was just warming up.

*Slash* *Thump x2*

"Oops, I got too excited." With a single slash, the ogre was sliced in half. both of its sides falling to the ground.

"RAAA!" Allan raised his head to see the last ogre an arm's length away from him, but he didn't react in any way; instead, he smiled.

*Wshh* *Wshh* *Wsh* *BOOOM*

The penguin, who was slightly behind its master, launched its water drills at the ogre, who dared think of attacking Allan, erasing it from existence.

"KAAAAAAA!" Donald screamed in anger and celebration, cursing the ogre with its inaudible language.

"Haha, calm down, Donald. It's already dead." Allan went closer to his spirit and tapped its big head, trying to calm it down.

"Master, me too, me too." Seeing Allan patting Donald, Karga, who was done with the other lone seeker, got jealous and ran towards her master.

"There there, Karga. Thank you for being useful as always." Allan smiled at her, making the spirit blush and fly around happily.

"Good job, lads." Lorea called out to her teammates.

They were all done by now and ready to move forward.

"That was quick." Palkus said.

"No, they were just warming up, Karga alone could have taken care of everybody here." Laff, who was close, explained.

"Well, that's obvious, haha." Palkus laughed.

"The nightwatcher is moving. It might go somewhere else if we don't move fast." Azeroth announced.
