Chapter 212: Rose Alliance!
"Father light! How can you say nothing after all the shit he spouted from his mouth? This isn't like you; we shouldn't allow such disrespect to happen within our very own mother."
A young-looking celestial spoke, shouting at the top of his lungs while his face looked as if it were going to explode from anger.
"One more word, Greatness." Before Light could start his explanation, he faced the celestial who had just spoken and threatened.
The young celestial just looked down at the table with utter anger visible on his face and his blue eyes displayed defeat and sadness that the one who had raised him had threatened him in such a way.
But, upon thinking about it for a bit, the young one realized that he was the one in the wrong. Light was trying to find a solution against imminent destruction.
If these hateful guys turned out to be capable of helping them, then whatever they gave them would be much better than the situation they would end up in if the Rose Alliance managed to achieve what they were scheming.
"It all started when we failed to kill a rogue cultivator. A devourer from planet Dilar was aiming for our world and planning on devouring it. The deva who took care of him, Life, alongside a few of the children over here, were too compassionate, and let him go after they beat him up." Light started explaining.
"Unfortunately, Planet Dilar was a devourer's den, when the rogue celestial went back, he told his planet what he found on our planet, our mother tree, and they became greedy."
"But when they knew that they had no chance against us, they decided to ally themselves with 4 other planets and they came not once but twice to warn us of their incoming troops to kill us and enslave our planet so they could hoard our tree's blessings for themselves." Light continued.
"The last time they came was a few years ago and they made sure to tell us that the next time they'd be here, it wouldn't be to negotiate anymore." The mood turned grim and everybody stood silent as Yaga and Draco looked at all of this calmly.
"So the reason all of this happened is because one of you was dumb enough to let an enemy go back to their home and now you're dealing with their entire gang? What do these guys even want from your tree?" Yapa asked.

"Ugh." His words hurt the group that caused this entire dilemma, while Light just faced him.
"As I said before, if someone eats the fruit from our tree that corresponds to their authority, then their power would become immortalized and they wouldn't need to be lent by any planet." Light explained.
"Oho, now we're talking." Yapa smiled as he got more serious; this was even more of a reason for him not to settle for just two fruits.
The reason this was so interesting and enough to make planets form alliances to snatch it was because a celestial wasn't the owner of their own authority.
This was something that was previously explained; thus, in short, if one ate a deva fruit, they would own their own authorities and be completely free of worries even if their planet was to be destroyed, and they wouldn't even need to become devourers and absorb a core to fuel their powers.
"So who are the members of this Rose Alliance thingy?" Yapa asked.
"There are five planets. Dilar, a planet with beast tamers as its celestials. Red Maple Continent is a cultivation planet. Lotus Heaven is another cultivator planet. Elven Star is a pretty technologically advanced elven planet with highly intelligent celestials and their weapons are nothing to scoff at either.
Lastly, The Katern Realm, a massive dimension with 50 lesser celestials, is our biggest concern at the moment." Light explained.
"I see… That doesn't sound like a big deal at all." Draco, who had been crossing his hands together, spoke.
"So, can you help us, dear guests?" Light not beating around the bush anymore asked.
"As I said, whether you're alive or not, those 5 planets wouldn't exist anymore in a few years; after all, this planet of yours is mine." Draco faced Light with a smile and stated.
"Once more, what you're saying is hard for us to accept; how would us being under you affect us?" Light asked, once again meeting gazes with Future, The way these faceless beings communicated was through countless years of friendship.
"In simple words, you would have nothing to worry about. Power, wealth, safety—everything you need and ask for." Draco replied.
"And how can we be sure that such a thing is possible?" Light asked.
"That's not even a question." Draco shook his head.
"There are test dummies coming towards us with their own legs, why not judge me after seeing how I deal with them?" Draco asked.
"Hmm… That is indeed a good idea. Very well. Happy cooperation." Light got up from his seat and so did the others.
"Happy cooperation." Draco said back.
The reason Light was surprised by Draco's suggestion was because the way Yapa and the chaos celestial spoke made them seem as if they would never help them without them first being under them.
So the idea of them cooperating temporarily until this small problem is dealt with was taken out of their minds.
This was but a simple strategy Yapa used to force the other side to give up more while they benefited better. This way, the first suggestion of giving only 2 fruits seemed like a bad choice when Draco also threatened them that he could just kill every single one here.
'This guy is more useful than I first thought.' Draco looked at Yapa, who felt the gaze and looked back with a wide smile.
"So, when are those guys going to be here?" Draco then looked back at Light.
"I don't know when exactly, but he does." Light, who had been facing Future, looked back at Draco and pointed at the former.
"They're already on their way."
