Chapter 382 - Little Ruckus
"Hmph..." Senior Du sneered coldly as his previously black eyes slowly began to turn back to their bright green color.
"I deeply apologize for my disciple, it seems he was not taught properly enough."
Senior Lin showed an awkward smile when he heard Senior Du's apology and shook her hand, "You don't have to apologiz-"
"Yeah, no, he does have to apologize." Khal suddenly interrupted Senior Lin, shocking both the master of the Moon Sect, Darla, and Senior Du.
"Khal! Manners!" Senior Lin frowned, her eyes narrowed threateningly at Khal on her side.
"Yeah, exactly because I have manners do I say what I did." Khal didn't feel pressure nor scared when he saw Senior Lin's dagger-like stare on him and turned to look at Senior Du, "Me and especially you were ridiculed and could be said humiliated just now. Although I respect Senior Du's choice for silencing that overgrown turtle, it does not change the fact what has happened and were said."
"Overgrown... Turtle?" Senior Du's complexion turned ugly when he heard those words and a hint of killing intent flashed in his eyes.
"Brat, it seems you were not thought how to respect those stronger than yourself! Although I have silenced my disciple, it does not mean you have the right for insulting him! Especially in front of me!"
At this moment, Senior Du's Ascender Stage aura was already leaking from his body in a form of black mist while thick veins were bulging out of his neck. It was pretty obvious that Senior Du was holding his anger back or else he would have jumped on Khal a very long time ago.
Darla's and Senior Lin's complexion paled when they felt Senior Du's aura and quickly took a step backward. However, Khal on the other hand just remained firmly where he stood, his complexion as indifferent as ever.
"First of all, I was not insulting him, I just simply described him."

"You!!! Know your place!" Senior Du's body trembled and was ready to throw out a punch to teach Khal a lesson when suddenly his eyes widened and his pupils shrunk to the smallest possible size!
"Secondly, while I was taught how to respect those stronger than me, it seems you were not so it seems that task falls on me in the end. Now kneel."
Even before Senior Du could have comprehended what happened he watched as the human boy in front of him appeared before him like a ghost and with a gentle tap on his shoulder pressed him down onto his knees!
Bam!
The ground was forced to crack below Senior Du's knees just by the sheer amount of power he was forced to kneel down while a small ripple swept through the air that gently blew the leaves on the trees in close proximity.
As the sound was rather loud it was impossible to escape from the group of creatures' watch in the distance and immediately attracted all of their attention.
However, Khal couldn't care less about the cold stares on his skin that would have easily scared anyone to death if they were in his shoes and simply looked down at Senior Du without lowering his head.
"So? Will you apologize to us or should I teach you a lesson, one that is harsher than this one?"
Bullets of sweat oozed out of Senior Du's forehead as he struggled to stand up, but for some strange reason, he was unable to move; it felt almost like he suddenly has lost control over his body!
"W-What did you do to me? Why can't I move?" Senior Du asked, trying his best to raise his head and look Khal in the eye.
Although he was angry at the moment, Senior Du was no fool to not know that the reason his body was not listening to his command was that the human boy in front of him was doing or did something.
"What did I do, you ask? I just simply began to control the blood in your body to an extent where you can't move. It is that simple."
"My blood?" Senior Du frowned before blurting out, "Bullshit! You are just a Limit Breaker! How do have the ability to surpass me, a peak Ascender existence!"
"Bullshit? Do you want me to show a little demonstration?" Khal asked with an amused smile, but just as he was about to use his Bloodshed Touch to halt Senior Du's heart beating for a few seconds a figure appeared on his side.
"Okay, that is enough. We don't have time for this small ruckus so either put your hatred toward each other to the side for the time being or simply go somewhere else to finish."
Khal turned to look at the creature and his eyes lit up, "Astro!"
"It is indeed a pleasure to meet with you again." Astro, the right hand of Roice smiled gently.
"Astro! You... Why are you here?" Darla who until this moment looked stupefied snapped out of her daze and asked.
Astro glanced at Darla before sighing and replying, "My Lord said I should follow you here and protect you in case things get out of hand. Also, he said I should supervise this mission and make sure nothing gets awry."
'So that is why he came to stop me.' Khal thought in his heart as he pulled his hand back, allowing Senior Du to finally regain control over his body and stand up.
"M-Master! What happened? Are you feeling good?" Vern quickly ran to the side of his master and looked at him with a rather worried look.
However, Senior Du just shook his head and without saying a word bowed toward Astro and walked away.
"You have become stronger, just as my Lord has said it," Astro said once Senior Du was not in the proximity and glanced at Khal.
"Lord Roice? How is he doing?" Khal asked, but instead of a proper reply what he got was a gentle chuckle before Astro waved his hand gesturing toward him and the two behind him to follow him.
"Come, we have already wasted enough time here.. We should start entering the dungeon."
