Chapter 31
C31 – Dragon’s Space!
“What should we do now?” Choo Qin asked, a hint of embarrassment in his voice as he interrupted Chen Kai.
“First, I’ll show you around. I remember feeling quite overwhelmed when I first arrived,” Chen Kai replied.
“We’re in the 731 Great Regions of the Dragon Void. There are nearly a thousand places like this here, though they’re all quite similar.”
Chen Kai gestured with a wave of his hand and leapt onto a fiery red Flame Dragon, beckoning Choo Qin to follow suit. Soaring into the sky, the vastness below became even more apparent. Noticing Choo Qin’s interest in his Flame Dragon, Chen Kai began to explain.
“Azure Rock here is a Flame Dragon, part of the fire dragon lineage. It’s not quite on par with your Frost Dragon, but it’s still impressive.”

“The Dragon Void is vast, with hundreds of thousands of dragons and Dragon Tamers inhabiting each Great Region. But there are only a handful of buildings that are truly significant.”
”I can’t cover everything at once, so I’ll start with a few key locations,” Chen Kai continued, pointing towards a towering structure in the distance. “The northernmost is the Dragon Tower. Each level contains numerous independent spaces and is crucial for acquiring materials. You’ll become more familiar with it over time.”
“Over to the west, you’ll find the Dragon Battlefield, the Arena, and various other venues. Newcomers usually have their first mission on the Dragon Battlefield, which you might already know about.”
“The largest marketplace is to the east, where missions can be posted or accepted. Dragon Tamers who need assistance on this plane but are unable to manage on their own often seek help there.”
“To the south are various entertainment facilities. With enough Dragon Coins, you can indulge in nearly anything you can imagine.”
“The outer areas are residential. Those with Dragon Coins can purchase their own place within the Dragon Void.”
Chen Kai described each building with such enthusiasm, his arms waving excitedly as if he were introducing his own home.
“And what about the center? What are those doors for?” Choo Qin, who had been nodding along, finally asked, pointing to the massive doors at the heart of the enclosure.
“Those are the Void Gates. They allow passage to and from other planes. However, your dragon’s current rank is too low to qualify for passage,” Chen Kai explained.
“For the Dragon Cub Period, I recommend that you spend time in the Dragon Clan Arena to hone your skills. Victorious battles will earn you Dragon Coins, and a string of wins could even net you some materials, which should see you through the Dragon Cub Period.”
The Dragon Void is vast, and Chen Kai had only given a broad overview. However, whenever Choo Qin sought further details, Chen Kai was always willing to delve deeper into explanations.
Choo Qin had even inquired about Chen Kai’s capabilities as a mentor. To his surprise, the person who had been so patiently explaining things to him was not only a mage but an Earth Level Magic God at that.
From Mage Apprentice to Beginner Level Mage, High Level Mage, Sorcerer, Great Sorcerer, and all the way up to the ranks of Magic Gods, Chen Kai’s rank was far above what Choo Qin had initially believed. He had thought his own strength was considerable within the Dragon Void, only to find that a mentor could easily surpass him by several major ranks.
”Rank is a minor detail; you’ll understand in due time,” Chen Kai reassured him.
“Take Alyssa beneath you, for instance. She’s merely a Dragon Cub at the moment, likely with limited combat abilities. But as she grows into the Giant Dragon Period, she’ll be on par with a Ring Level Magic God. Reach the Divine Dragon Period, and she’ll be at the peak of Earth Level Magic Gods.”
”Take me, for example. I may seem strong, but often, I rely on Azure Rock,” Chen Kai said as he affectionately patted the Flame Dragon beneath him, a gesture of trust in his companion.
“Here in the Dragon Void, the one you need to trust the most is the dragon that will be by your side for life.”
