Chapter 9
C9 – The Big Boss Could Withstand the Beast Tide
Choo Qin continued his journey westward, gaining a clearer understanding of his own capabilities along the way. In the Dragon Battlefield, it was evident that many of the challenges and monsters required the combined efforts of dragons and Dragon Tamers to overcome or defeat. Yet, due to Choo Qin’s unconventional presence, the dragons scarcely had the opportunity to engage in combat.
He was not merely a Sorcerer; he was a Sorcerer who had mastered all his skills to the point of perfection, effortlessly crushing any elaborate ploys he encountered.
“Ding! You have killed ten Dragon Tamers. Dragon Tamers within a five-kilometer radius will be alerted to your location.”
“Ding! You have killed twenty Dragon Tamers. Dragon Tamers within a ten-kilometer radius will be alerted to your location.”
“Ding! You have killed…”
As time ticked by, numerous Dragon Tamers could feel the palpable danger emanating from a certain point. The reward for defeating Choo Qin was enticing, but alas, they fell like dominoes, none able to withstand even a single attack.
“Nanxi, have you finished the data analysis? Aren’t the gadgets from the Technology Plane supposed to be top-notch?” Two men clad in leather jackets were scrutinizing the area with an odd-looking device, Dragon Tamers from the Technology Plane.
“The data… we can’t gather any statistics. But judging by the energy spillage, it’s at least comparable to a level six starship.”

“To think, aside from the dragons, there could be such a formidable human.”
“Could this be the legendary mage? He’s like a demon warlock incarnate.”
Nanxi, sporting a pair of glasses, gazed at Choo Qin with a mix of awe and reverence.
“Hmph, no matter how strong he is, the Beast Tide is imminent. I refuse to believe he can withstand that.”
“We’ll employ optical invisibility; the Beast Tide won’t see us for a while. Once he’s overwhelmed, that’s when we’ll strike!”
They conversed in hushed tones, oblivious to the fact that Choo Qin had overheard every word.
“Ultimate Detection Technique, Ultimate Magic Reversal.”
Choo Qin had stealthily learned these two skills from an elven maiden and had now fully mastered them. His purpose for being here was to await the arrival of the Beast Tide. Within the Dragon Battlefield, slaying lesser monsters gave the dragons a chance to obtain the Beast Soul, an essential component for a Dragon Cub’s evolution into a mighty dragon.
Others would take down the lesser monsters one by one.
However, in the Dragon Battlefield, what resembled a deadly encroaching circle in a game of survival had evolved into a Beast Tide.
Choo Qin set his sights squarely on the Beast Tide!
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
The cacophony between heaven and earth grew increasingly loud.
From a distance, the boundless Beast Tide surged forward as if chased by an unseen force.
A small group, too slow to flee, was engulfed by the Beast Tide. The four Dragon Cubs let out mournful cries before turning transparent and departing the battlefield.
The Elves and the Green Ball had already made it to the safe zone. Alyssa, trailing behind them, nuzzled Choo Qin. With her limited memory, she had little understanding of the overwhelming Beast Tide.
A man and his dragon stood atop a hill, gazing down at the ever-growing army before charging headlong into the Beast Tide.
Flames danced in one of Choo Qin’s hands, while the other conjured spheres of water. His Ultimate Magic Reversal had nearly transformed him into a relentless, mana-efficient human artillery.
“Has he… Has he lost his mind? Does he truly intend to confront the Beast Tide?”
“No! We must retreat! This Beast Tide is several times more powerful than any we’ve encountered before! We can’t possibly hide from it!”
Two Dragon Tamers, poised to strike, quickly realized the gravity of the situation. Witnessing Choo Qin’s bold assault on the Beast Tide, they hastily packed their gear, intending to flee.
Sadly, they too were ultimately consumed by the dust.
