Chapter 43: Local Monster Girls Sentence Florida Man to Death by Breeding
In the afternoon, Sinnet and 70 men returned to Terra City. Exhausted from a sleepless night, they entered through the north gate and collapsed at the guard post.
The city guards quickly supported them, taking the injured to local infirmaries and sending a messenger to inform their lord. Shortly after, Robert rushed to see his men in an infirmary tent in the east barrack.
Entering the tent, Robert strode toward a physician who was tending to Sinnet's chest wound. He glanced around the tent, searching for Felix, but couldn't find him.
"What happened back there?" Robert asked Sinnet.
Sinnet, conscious while the physician stitched his wound, wryly smiled and confessed, "We encountered a three-star aura knight and got surrounded. Sir Ariel drew their attention, allowing us to retreat. We escaped but lost Sir Ariel and some men in the process."
"What?" Robert frowned, struggling to accept that Sinnet left Felix behind. "How did Felix Ariel die?"
"We didn't see how he died, but he was stranded behind the enemy's lines. We presume that he was dead, my lord."
Robert sighed deeply, feeling bad for Felix and the deceased. He then inquired about the Turo camp. "How was the mission?"
"Somewhat successful. We damaged their supplies and took out a few aura knights. We didn't see any mage or Joxonu in the fight, so we assume the combat mage's pitfall spell might have caught them. We'll have to recheck."
Robert scratched his head. He mumbled, recollecting his thoughts. He then complained, "We have to pray that the lamias can kill their aura knights and Joxonu. They should be exhausted from last night's raid. If the Black Forest Army meets them today, they won't stand a chance unless Joxonu pulls that Purple Forest trick again."
That was Robert's fear. He wondered if his ally, Diana of the Black Forest, could defeat the mage. He also prayed the Turo forces would cripple the Lamia army. Though Joxonu posed a threat to Terra City, Diana and her people could still threaten mankind because of their 'Ritual'. Robert hoped Diana wouldn't capture too many Turo soldiers, which would create a bigger problem.
Thinking of the ritual, Robert asked about the casualties. "How many men did you kill?"
"I didn't count. Maybe a hundred?"
"How many were injured? I mean for the enemies."
"…No idea, but there should be a lot. We shot around 3,000 arrows during the retreat."

"…Dammit! I miscalculated!" Robert turned and stomped out of the tent, shouting, "TELL ALL MEN TO ENTER THE CITY! NO ONE, ESPECIALLY YOUNG ADULTS, SHOULD STEP OUTSIDE THE CITY AT ANY COST!"
Seeing how their lord reacted, Sinnet and the men in the infirmary were bemused. They wondered why Robert panicked to that extent.

Meanwhile, Felix examined the ropes binding him to the crucifix. Made of thorny vines or sharp fibers, they cut into his flesh whenever he moved. Blood slowly dripped from the wounds around the ropes.
Annoyed and itchy, Felix thought of storing the ropes in his inventory. He curled his fingers to touch the rope around his right wrist, and it disappeared into his inventory. Realizing the trick worked, he did the same with the left wrist. After freeing both hands, he inspected the ropes binding his arms next.
Unfortunately, the lamias were thorough. They wrapped around his elbows, preventing him from curling his arms to touch other parts of his body.
'Man, this sucks.'
Postponing his escape plan, Felix sighed and rested his head on the crucifix. Passing the time, he glanced at the busty lamia next to him, examining her armor and face. He compared her to the others. All lamias had the same curly long green hair and identical slit crimson eyes. The only differences were the tattoos on their cheeks.
As Felix openly admired their faces and chest sizes, some lamias noticed his glances. The closest one suddenly unlocked her chest plate and took it off, revealing her skin. Beneath the chest plate was the fine body of a mature lady, though snake skin covered parts of her hips and belly.
Felix didn't mind. To him, any "marshmallow melon" was beautiful.
More lamias began winking and making seductive gestures. Felix played along to pass the time.
One lamia couldn't wait any longer. She stripped, revealing her lower body parts. Felix whistled and stuck out his tongue, barking like a horny dog.
The next moment, Felix was taken aback.
The naked lamia's genitalia suddenly spat a fist-sized murky white egg into her hand. Then, she pulled out a knife and slithered toward Felix, attempting to stab him.
"???"
Felix widened his eyes in shock. Fortunately, one of the carriers shot her tail and coiled around the lamia's arm, stopping her.
"No breeding until the ritual."
"…Tsk." The lamia with the knife clicked her tongue, pulled the knife away, and shoved the egg back into her lower mouth.
"WHAT IN THE TARNATION?!" Felix screamed, horrified. "MA'AM! YOU DON'T HAVE TO COPY THE JAR MAN! I KNOW YOU'RE DOWN BAD, BUT HOLY SHIT!"
The carriers laughed and resumed their duty. One hinted that this wasn't the first time a human was shocked by their nature. "Relax, human. When the time comes, it will be painless."
"What painless? What's the ritual? Are you going to sacrifice me to some Lovecraftian gods?!"
"…I don't know what a love-craft-tian is, but you don't have to worry about that. It's pointless to think about it."
"What? What are you going to do to me?"
"Procreating..."
"…?"
Felix raised his eyebrows. If that was the ritual, he wouldn't mind. In fact, he would LOVE it.
Unfortunately, reality always betrayed fantasy. The lamia delivered bad news. "By shoving our fertilized eggs into your butthole and waiting for our children to hatch inside you. When they have absorbed enough mana, they will come out of your butthole as a completed baby."
Felix paused for a long time.
WHAT
THE
FUCK
DID
SHE
JUST
SAID?!
The lamia laughed, "Oh, yeah. It will be fun to watch a male human giving birth to our babies. Again, don't worry about the pain. We'll let our shaman poison your nerves when that happens. By the time it's over, you won't feel anything other than the pleasure of reproducing. If you do well, we'll reward you by letting you copulate with our maidens to restore your mana.
When you regain enough mana, we'll repeat the whole process! How is it? Are you looking forward to joining our 'Seedbed Ritual'?"

Disgusted and disturbed, Felix's expression turned ugly. He had no words to describe his feelings, remembering cursed internet videos.
Felix decided he no longer wanted to associate with these barbaric women.

Hours later, Felix checked the system menu's clock. It was 4 PM. Inspecting the system map, he noticed the lamias had taken him southeast, away from the oil deposit area. Strangely, the map showed them as yellow dots.
'Jessica, why do they show up as yellow?' Felix asked his assistant.
<Yellow dots in the map represent neutral forces or units.>
Felix still couldn't understand. He asked for clarification.
'What's the difference between the green and yellow ones?'
<Green dots are your allies or colleagues. Red dots are enemies. Yellow dots are neutral parties that can either be your allies or enemies, depending on the situation. In this case, you might have gotten implicated by accident. They don't know you're siding with the Lundop House, it seems.>
'…Wait, why is the Lundop House brought up?'
<I haven't shown you the summary of Zilo and Joxonu's memory yet. I'll compile them for you right now.>
