Chapter 5 Disgusting
The Oriental Bar was around 10 minutes away from where I lived if I walked, but jogging there, I got there twice as quickly, warming up in the process.
I outwardly appeared to be calm and my mind was clear, but concealing the hatred and rage in my eyes felt impossible.
The appearance of the Gangster System had been a pleasant surprise and helped me find a new purpose that I could pursue, but I was completely focused on one thing at that moment.
I had surprisingly adapted and reacted well to the awakening of the system, and I had been working hard in life without anything clear that I was going to pursue.
Now with the Gangster System, what I was going to become was clear, and dwelling on the matter would only breed doubts and concerns, while I had more pressing thoughts...
Crushing the so-called 'Black Hand Gang'.
Knowing that they were forcing 'protection fees' from my mother, I had pursued and observed them a few times and got close to causing conflict with them, but always stopped myself, not wanting to jeopardise my future in school or anything like that.
But that was no longer something I had to worry about, and I would even be rewarded by the Gangster System for doing it, so what reason was there to hold back all the fury within me?
-
Calming myself down, I took a deep breath before pushing open the door of the Oriental Bar.
It was dark outside, and under the dimly lit street lights, the only people that were out at this time in this area were those that were looking for a good time or trouble.
Drugs, women, and violence were ubiquitous, and those things were most concentrated within the Oriental Bar, the place that the Black Hand Gang owned and oversaw.

It was quite a large bar and upon opening the doors; I was hit with the strong smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke, and was disgusted by what I saw.
Outwardly, it appeared to be your normal bar, but there was more to it than that...
As soon as I entered, a half-naked, flirtatious lady quickly approached me in heels.
Trotting towards me, she placed her hands on my arm as she leaned over me and rested her barely covered breast on me.
"Would you like me to accompany you tonight?" she asked seductively.
"What a sad life," I mumbled to myself.
Walking past and ignoring her, I couldn't help but be disgusted by such women, but also pitied her.
They were the biggest victims of the Black Hand Gang that would use the money it gathered by threatening people to run the bar that was also an illegal brothel.
Hiring desperate young women, and even forcing some to sell their bodies, they would keep most of the profits and merely throw them scraps.
Pimps.
As if their preceding actions weren't enough.
One could do what they wanted with their lives and bodies, but it was sad that some had to resort to selling their bodies.
And it was evident that it was a horrible experience for the women, since the one who spotted me was clearly elated that I wasn't some ugly old man, which I assumed most of their customers tended to be.
Although I was masked and wearing a hood, from my physique it was apparent that I was young and in pretty good shape, which explained why she scurried over to me.
But she didn't seem to take my disdain towards her lightly.
"You asshole, it's not like I wanted to fuck you anyway!" she yelled as I walked past her, but I just overlooked it.
There was no point wasting energy with such a miserable soul as I headed upstairs, ignoring all the looks I was receiving from those drinking in the bar and enjoying themselves.
Seeing how full it was, the Oriental Bar clearly was a hotspot, and I couldn't see a single female customer.
Allowing one to satisfy their urges and lust, all while drinking and taking drugs, it was like heaven for many filthy animals who flocked towards this place each and every night.
It was utterly disgusting.
-
With the Gangster System, the way I was, and the way my life had turned out, there was no avoiding a life of crime.
Some may say that working any ordinary job and staying out of trouble was sufficient, but it wasn't enough to leave such a dejected area, and even if it was, nothing would change.
The endless cycle of poverty and misery in this area and many others around the world would repeat itself.
If my mother and I aren't the victims, it will be another family.
And it wasn't like I would be satisfied with a miserable and mundane life like most are.
So maybe it was time for a change.
Change so big that it shakes the foundations of the entire criminal underworld in New York, the entire country, and even the entire world.
One that I would be at the forefront of.
And it all starts with the destruction of the Black Hand Gang.
-
As I climbed the creaky wooden stairs of the bar, the sounds of moaning and groaning grew louder with each step.
On the second floor, there were a dozen private rooms, and it was clear what was occurring in each of them, with it sickening me to my core.
If both parties were willing and weren't coerced or forced into it, there was no problem, but in most cases, almost every single woman wasn't there out of their free will.
Just thinking about one of them being my mother or someone I cared about, I was outraged, and a big part of the problem was the Black Hand Gang.
How could people be so lustful, desperate, and heartless?
But that wasn't the main thing I was there to deal with and it was a problem that was too deep-rooted to be solved simply.
-
At the end of the corridor on the second floor was a door that seemed to lead to the largest room, and with the system confirming to me that all the targets were within it, I walked towards it while settling my mind.
Since all 11 of the gang members were there, I knew that I was entering the lion's den and it would be very dangerous, but I was confident in my fighting skills.
And it wasn't like I could turn back, since it was the initiation mission issued by the system and what I wanted to do most.
As long as they didn't have guns, I still had a chance.
Picking them off one by one should be possible and I was sure they would be under the influence of some sort of drugs, and definitely wouldn't be expecting an attack from a lone hooded figure.
That, along with the fact that I felt as though I could take on an army with the resentment within me, I stood in front of the door to their room and kicked it as hard as I could.
"Here goes nothing."
