Chapter 172 Killing The Outer God Of Terra

After arriving in the Outer God's dimension, Linsley laid eyes on the monstrous entity that had enslaved Terra for two long years.

It was nothing more than a writhing, churning mass of pitch-black flesh, its form undefined and constantly shifting, as though reality itself struggled to contain its presence.

Countless tentacles coiled and twisted around each other, some ending in jagged, fang-like protrusions, while others seemed to stretch endlessly into the dark void surrounding it.

There was no symmetry, no recognizable shape—just an endless expanse of dark, chaotic movement.

The energy in the dimension shuddered as it sensed Linsley's arrival, disturbing the dark creature's slumber.

Slowly, with an almost grudging motion, countless eyes began to open across the mass of flesh, each one fixating on Linsley with a mix of irritation and disdain.

The creature's form expanded, its tentacles spreading out like a dark web as it fully awoke, its many eyes narrowing as though displeased to have been stirred from sleep.

A deep, resonant growl rumbled from somewhere within the creature's twisted mass, its tone heavy with annoyance. "You dare intrude here?" it muttered, its voice slithering through the air like a poison, thick with malice.

Unfazed, Linsley gazed at the creature with a calm indifference.

After two long years, he was finally standing face-to-face with the being that had enslaved humanity and desecrated countless lives.

Yet, as he took in the sight of the Outer God, he felt almost… underwhelmed.

Now that he had ascended to a Type 4 existence, the entity before him felt weak, almost insignificant.

The Outer God had been in slumber, digesting the origin energy it had devoured from a much stronger world than Terra—a world whose destruction had only served as a prelude to Terra's eventual fate. Terra, it seemed, was only meant to be a small snack once it woke again.

But now, the threat that had once loomed over him was nothing more than an insect in his eyes—a being he could crush effortlessly.

Looking at its grotesque, shifting form, Linsley let out a sigh. "Honestly, you're not as impressive as I thought. I expected something stronger. Seems I was almost too prepared for a fight that won't even be worth it."

The countless eyes across the creature's mass narrowed in mocking disdain, a flicker of rage mixed with dark amusement.

"Bold words from an insect," it sneered, its voices overlapping in a vile symphony from every part of its flesh, "especially one foolish enough to disturb my rest."

The Outer God clearly had countless eyes, but it was still so arrogant, as if it couldn't see just how powerful Linsley was.

Of course, that was due to Linsley's life level being higher than it, so it couldn't detect any power from him aside from knowing that Linsley was the newly promoted World God of Terra.

Linsley had no intention of talking further to the Outer God; there was nothing to discuss. He had already had enough fun trash-talking his enemies and pig teammates in those MOBA games he played with Seraphina, and their trash talking was far more interesting than whatever the Outer God could offer.

'After I'm done with this, I'll give the corpse of this Outer God as a present for Seraphina. Then the two of us can keep it as a souvenir, and we'll play MOBA games like we usually do.'

With that plan in mind, Linsley coldly gazed at the Outer God and spoke, "Die!"

Linsley used his Real Fantasy gift to manifest his desire to kill the Outer God with merely his words.

Sure enough, the Outer God, who heard his words, seemed to halt its movements.

Then, the Outer God died as it lost its vitality, soul, memories, and more. It was dead, leaving only its disgusting corpse behind, like an empty shell.

The death of the Outer God also caused Linsley to notice that the Outer God's avatar in the Outer God Association had disappeared.

Looking at the corpse of the Outer God, Linsley opened his right palm and a glass globe appeared. He threw the glass globe forward, and it levitated above the Outer God's corpse, sucking the mass of black flesh with countless tentacles and eyes inside it.

The glass globe was a corpse-sealing artifact that Linsley created to store the Outer God's remains as a gift for Seraphina.

After all, it would be half-hearted to give her a disgusting corpse without any presentation. It would be far better if it was kept in a clean glass globe so that Seraphina could look at the Outer God's remains without tainting the air she breathed.

Holding the glass globe and gazing at the corpse of the Outer God, Linsley breathed a sigh of relief, glad that everything had gone smoothly—better than he had expected.

He had already prepared himself for the worst-case scenarios: the Outer God suddenly revealing that it was far stronger than it appeared, playing the pig to eat the tiger. Or perhaps it would cry for its mommy, summoning an even more disgusting and creepier Outer God to save its "son."

If such situations had arisen, Linsley wouldn't have panicked; he would have immediately used his Real Fantasy gift to teleport all of Terra to another star system within this galaxy.

Fortunately, he had been overthinking, and none of those scenarios occurred. The Outer God was finally dead.

With the Outer God's death, Terra was liberated at last, and Linsley had fulfilled his role and duties as the World God of Terra. He had accomplished what the previous World God could only dream of achieving.

Storing the glass globe inside his spatial storage, Linsley observed the Outer God's dimension, which was beginning to collapse due to its master's death.

He had no time to let it collapse on its own. Leaving it intact might allow some of the Outer God's lackeys to use their connection to trespass into the dimension and absorb the remnants of its power.

Although unlikely—and even if they did, it wouldn't pose much of a threat—Linsley didn't want to take any chances.

"Annihilation!"

Channeling his Annihilation gift, he obliterated the Outer God's dimension completely!
