Chapter 186: Larva Realm
Chapter 186: Larva Realm
Time passed, and one month had gone just like a gust of wind in the silent forest. Ayaan and others cultivated under the icy mountain, leaving little that place. However, Leafwhisk didn't let them cultivate continuously with spirit stones.
Though the spirit stones increased their cultivation speed, their cultivation would also become unstable the more they use those things. To compensate for this downside, Leafwhisk made everyone fight with the magic beasts on the Snow Lake. Now and then they would fight until they have no energy in their bodies and would retreat into their pithole in the mountain.
As the group practised with spirit stones and fought with vicious and wild beasts, their cultivation increased significantly. To everyone's surprise, Rebecca was the first to reach the Larva Realm, followed by Ayaan. At first he was wondering if these spirit stones would work for him, or once more his luck would turn into nothing but shit. To his relief, these stones were spectacular and made his cultivation many times faster, as he himself didn't know how many times.
After Ayaan broke to the Larva Realm, it was Isobel who reached the next realm, and Noor also breached the once sturdy and tiring milestone in just a month. Even two little children, Ifre and Akash, had broken into the Embryonic Realm.
As the group practised with stones and fought with beasts and transformed their strength, somewhere far away, inside the palace of the majestic city sat a man on the large dignified throne. His hands rested on the throne handles and his foot sat on the head of the tiger, that was just a statue. The man was handsome, but his expressions had been displeased. He knocked his fingers on the handles, producing sounds, tik tik tik and peered in front of him, looking at the man in front of him with deep scorn on his face.

Victor looked at the man and demanded. "Have you found any news about those people? They are too important for us. My father has given me this mission, I don't want to fail it. Do you understand?!" his voice boomed in the empty throne room.
"I Yes, my lord, I am trying to find about them," replied Romaldo August. 'You fucking son of a bitch! How dare you sit on my throne and order me around!?' he cursed inside his head but restrained himself from blubbering those profane words in front of Victor. He knew he could not afford to offend this man, as his father was elder of the Heavenly Palace.
Victor's face relaxed a little when he saw the king acting obedient and timid in front of him, even the emperor could pinch him with just a single finger. This was the majesty of the Heavenly Palace, and at this moment anyone who goes against him would go against the dignity of the palace that no one would have dared to do openly on the central continent. If someone dared to do such things, he must have lost his head.
Last time he ran for his life when that beautiful yet vicious woman attacked him with her trees, he almost shit his pants. If it wasn't for the Protective Talisman his father had given him, the man would have turned into a stiff corpse by now. Even thinking about his fight with that woman drenched his back in a cold sweat. Yet when he remembered how beautiful she is, he couldn't help but have an urge to rush into her one more time. Though he felt tremendous attractiveness towards the woman, he wasn't stupid enough to go to her and ask for death.
He looked once more at Romaldo August, sneering. "The girl that you sent yesterday wasn't bad. Send one more tonight." He said and left the throne and stood up. He looked at the only man in the throne room, waiting for his reply.
"Yes," replied Romaldo from under the gritted teeth.
"Good," smirked Victor and left the throne room, leaving the man standing on the single spot. Romaldo glanced at the leaving back with resentment and envy and jealousy in his eyes. If he was born from the Heavenly Palace's elder, his status would have been far higher than this young shit. If only if "David!" he suddenly shouted towards the gate.
After his shout boomed, footsteps sounded from outside the throne room. Then a middle-aged man walked in and bowed down towards the emperor. "Any order, my lord." He asked and looked at the man in front of him.
Romaldo took a deep breath and calmed his heart down, and for the time being, he suppressed all the resentment and envy that he felt for Victor inside his heart. "Have you contacted those soldiers who went to capture that girl?"
The man once more bowed down, showing regret. "Pardon me, my Emperor. I could not contact them and neither have recent updates about them."
"Damn it!" cursed the man. "How about the new slaves?" he asked another question.
The man called David could not help but bow even lower this time, as he was already in the bowing pose before. "We have got no reply from those bandits yet."
"Bastards!" he clenched his fist tightly until his knuckles cracked and veins popped on his hand. "Have the water gone too deep into their head? I think I did not show them, yet, the consequences of displeasing me. I will show them." Every single word clenched out of his teeth as he muttered and his face turned red in anger.
Taking some more calm deep breaths, he looked at David. "Give him a girl tonight."
"But my lord, aren't those girls your most precious collection?" said David.
'Collection? Yes, they are my collections, but what can I fucking do right now!?' he had an urge to shout, but he held back when he saw his subordinate in front of him. "Do as you are told to do!" He commanded with a cold tone.
"I hear and obey." The man saluted and left the Throne room, leaving the Emperor with a bitter taste in his mouth.
