Chapter 86: Water Well

“You, are you kidding me?”

After saying it like this, Bai Cui couldn’t help but recoil back with two steps, “Fang Niu, how could you go with the audience’s whims and scare me?”

Fang Niu’s face brought out a malevolent smile, his palm flipping over, changing the direction of the phone’s camera.

Seeing a pitch-black screen, Bai Cui only felt vertigo consuming her. Fang Niu, he actually didn’t know how to turn the live broadcast off!

If he had long ended the live broadcast, then what about the comments she heard just now?!

Bai Cui glanced at her phone screen. At this moment, the live broadcast had disconnected.

However, what made her terrified was that although the live broadcast was already off, there were numerous comments still popping out of the live stream.

Among the comments, they were all in red text, each one… each one saying that Fang Niu was a ghost!

Bai Cui just helplessly stared at Fang Niu’s skin.

Right at this moment, a gust of wind blew by and puffed away the human skin, directly blowing it onto her face!

This human pelt acted as if it were alive, tightly wrapping itself around Bai Cui’s face, only leaving her eyes out in the open, looking in horror at everything in front of her…

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…. Help!”

Bai Cui managed to squeeze a mosquito-sized voice out her throat as both her hands did their best to tear the human skin off her face, but no matter what she did, it wouldn’t come off.

Soon, the human pelt gradually stretched, wrapping around her arms and legs as if it were cling wrap, tightly encasing half of Bai Cui’s body.

The human skin rigidly constricted her, blocking up her mouth and nose. Bai Cui could only quietly endure her most terrifying moment, slowly realizing the suffocating feeling.

As she was approaching death’s door, Bai Cui fuzzily saw the door of the main hall blow open.

Between the bright red text written vertically by the door’s side and some red candles, there were six human skins suspended based on their family order, while a chilly wind drifted and brushed past them.

Bai Cui could vaguely make out that the six miserable shadows standing in front of the human pelts were this family’s grandfather, grandmother, dad, mom, son, and daughter…

The six skins of the family members were neatly arranged and hung up by their order, not even missing one…

Before she completely stopped breathing, Bai Cui watched with despair how the mutilated ghost walked towards her.

There was a phone being held by the mutilated ghost’s hand, and when it finally approached her, it snatched away Bai Cui’s and Fang Niu’s phones and directly stuffed it inside its mushy and bloody insides.

It turned out that the one who sent out the information was you…

This was the final thought that Bai Cui had.

Because, soon, her entire being deflated into a new human pelt and floated down to the ground together with the one that was originally wrapped around her.

The malicious ghost once again returned to the well.

And, peace was once again restored in the yard.

As they waited outside the farmhouse for an hour, Ozawa Hiroshi and Lu Ruichao became restless.

They checked the time on their phones and gradually felt that the situation was anything but reassuring. One hour was far more than needed to explore the old farmhouse.

Even if the two anchors were doing a special live program, the time given was still too long.

During this time, the two wandered off to the large gate in the yard. The large gate was tightly shut, which meant that the two anchors couldn’t have quietly slipped away through here.

After waiting for 10 more minutes and noticing that the inside was eerily quiet, no even hearing a single voice, the two finally couldn’t help themselves and crawled inside through the broken window.

“Strange, where are they?”

Hastily looking through the farmhouse’s interior, Ozawa Hiroshi’s expression turned heavy, while Lu Ruichao also said aloud with great difficulty, “They’ve disappeared.”

Already enduring through a lot of levels, the two players’ observation skills were far more superior than the anchors.

By only hurriedly looking through here with their own eyes, they’ve already determined that the family members were also missing.

From the unwashed bowls to the still-spread-out quilts… Everything pointed to the people in this house going missing. Additionally, the large gate in the yard was still tied up, so perhaps this family hadn’t precisely gone missing but had already been murdered.

In a ghost village, people who have died would naturally be killed by the ghosts.

After looking through a few rooms, the two were certain that the post about the disappearances was real.

Then, maybe the other villagers truly lost their memories.

At the same time, they also realized that the two anchors must have also been murdered.

This room was where the owners were killed, and the two anchors that came in here were also dead, so wouldn’t this mean…?

The two immediately reacted, their complexions turning ghostly white.

This room has ghosts!

“Let’s quickly leave!”

Ozawa Hiroshi’s face turned paler.

As the two ran towards the dusty yard, they didn’t dare return to the place where the others had died, once again crawling through a broken window.

They didn’t come across any trouble when they went in, but who would’ve expected that when they re-entered the house, there was a ghost right in the middle of the room, patiently waiting for them.

There were only two escape routes in the farmhouse. One was going through the broken window, while the second was leaving from the large gate in the yard.

Right now, one of the routes was already blocked off, so the two had no other choice but to go through the main gate.

Originally, the two people went in the farmhouse to search for the two anchors that were courting death, but now that the two anchors were gone, they always felt that ghosts of these two anchors were floating by their side, silently watching them from a dark corner.

This farmhouse clearly has ghosts, so foolishly going in to explore this place must mean that one has lost one’s mind.

The two tossed their original plan at the back of their minds, setting their sights on quickly leaving through the yard.

Thus, Ozawa Hiroshi strode with hastened steps to the gate, while Lu Ruichao was right behind him, not saying a word, his footsteps were a bit quicker than his usual ones.

As he passed by the water well, he randomly glanced at its opening, only to discover that there was a mutilated ghost drifting on the surface of the well’s hole.

Seeing this sight, the malicious ghost suddenly bore out of the hole, causing Lu Ruichao to immediately react.

The ghost was hiding in the well all along!

Lu Ruichao then abruptly yelled, “Ozawa!”

As soon as he shouted this, the ghost’s bloody red hand suddenly stretched out, completely stuffing itself and tightly blocking up his mouth, his face twisting from taking in the fist.

In a blink of an eye, Lu Ruichao dried up into a piece of human skin and instantly swole up again, regaining its original appearance.

“What’s the matter?”

Ozawa Hiroshi still vigilantly turned his head around. Lu Ruichao, this person couldn’t even let out three loud farts, so if he shouted at the top of his lungs, it definitely meant that he discovered something important.

Ozawa Hiroshi also cherished his life dearly, so he wanted to quickly escape this farmhouse full of dead people.

But in the app’s games, solely escaping was not enough to live forever.

Seeing how Lu Ruichao staring at the well’s opening with a pale complexion and how he yelled out but was now not saying a word, looking too distracted to even answer him.

Ozawa Hiroshi grinded his teeth, cursing Lu Ruichao as trash and an idiot that couldn’t even speak well inside his heart. With a grim face, he pulled open the latch, causing the large gate to open wide, and used the sack full of miscellaneous goods to hold the gate open.

Seeing that the opened gate was stable and wouldn’t play any tricks of closing, Ozawa Hiroshi fiercely and quickly walked towards the well, asking Lu Ruichao, “What did you find?”

“Look for yourself.”

Lu Ruichao pointed at the well’s opening as Ozawa Hiroshi, who was still suspicious, looked at it, stretching out his head to get a better look inside the well.

As a result of this look, he jumped from shock. The inside of this deep dark well was unexpectedly harboring a person!

Upon closer inspection, this person was badly mangled as if his skin was peeled off.

Ozawa Hiroshi suddenly realized that this person was dead!

No, this person could still move. It basically isn’t a person anymore, but a ghost!

Ozawa Hiroshi was overwhelmed with shock. Perceiving that something was amiss, he turned his body, wanting to run away.

Unfortunately, before he could turn around, Lu Ruichao held him by the waist and threw him into the well.

Luckily for him, Ozawa Hiroshi’s body was a bit on the heavier side, so he barely got stuck on the well’s walls.

There was a ghost at the bottom of the well, which meant that falling straight down would be a dead end, so he diligently propped his body up. Despite his body being constantly rubbed by the coarse wall, causing bloody wounds to open, he still strenuously climbed.

Ozawa Hiroshi’s speed was slow. Even if he exhausted his strength, he could only move his body up little by little. If he wasn’t careful, he’d fall to the bottom of the well.

At this moment, Ozawa Hiroshi had just processed what happened.

Lu Ruichao had long seen the ghost in the well, so he was intentionally trying to harm him!

This d*mned thing. That person, why would he do this to him?

He asked himself if he had offended him these past two days. Why would he do this?!

Ozawa Hiroshi’s eyes turned red. He wanted to ruthlessly rip Lu Ruichao apart, limb from limb, thinking in his heart that if they managed to get out of this alive, he’d surely kill him.

During his harsh climb, a fishy yet sweet smell bubbled out of Ozawa Hiroshi’s throat. This made him afraid yet angry at the same time, but he quickly couldn’t care less about being angry.

He laboriously climbed up, and as he discovered fear deep within his heart, his hands gradually started to atrophy.

At some point in time, his fingernails were already peeled off and his fingertips were already wrinkled into becoming triangles, slowly shrinking. Soon, his ten fingers shriveled into skin, only the flesh and bones from his palms were leaning against the well’s wall, supporting him up.

However, to the naked eye, one could see the rate of what was happening. His palms were also slowly caving in as if they were a rubber eraser getting squashed and spreading out until they turned into pieces of thin human skin.

“No! No!”

Ozawa Hiroshi twisted and turned his fat body, drawing support from his bare arms like an ordinary worm moving.

However, no matter how hard he tried, his plump body was still getting thinner and thinner, his flesh and bones compressing down like his palms, which have already dehydrated into skin, gradually crumpling up into a ball…

He helplessly watched himself turn into human skin alive, followed by sliding down the walls to the bottom of the well, falling into the malicious ghost’s grasp.

The malicious ghost, hiding at the bottom of the water, jumped out of the deep well after obtaining Ozawa Hiroshi’s skin.

The ghost made Ozawa Hiroshi’s skin shake and tremble, and shortly, the human pelt was filled with air, reinstating its fatty appearance of flesh and blood.

Waiting for the human skin to fully recover, the malicious ghost climbed out of the house through the broken window.

In the yard, ‘Ozawa Hiroshi’s’ body was damp but he paid no mind to it.

He shook the water away from his body and walked out the gate as if nothing happened. Outside the large gate, Lu Ruichao hung a strange grin as if he had been waiting for him outside for a long time…
