Chapter 138: New Attack!

Alex looked at the man and spoke in a deep voice, "So, you want me to kill all of these people?" He slowly walked up to the man as he continued, "How would you know if I had the ability to kill them all or not? For all you know, I might be weak compared to them I'd say, Why don't you do it yourself? If you're leading this entire thing here, You must surely be powerful" Alex wanted to jump straight into battle but Hades told him to ask these questions first.

The man squinted his eyes when he saw Alex slowly approaching him. After some thinking, he smiled and spoke, "Haha, It's simple. I can see how powerful you are just by the way you act and the way you killed those guards"

He then tilted his head, "You shouldn't think about threatening me though. You might have taken those fools down but if you're against me, I'll kill you. Let's just finish up on this deal before it turns another direction and will no longer be a deal, but an order." His body seemed to look more feral.

Alex nodded and spoke, "Well, It seems like I have no other choice. I just want to ask one more thing, Who is the actual boss here? I don't think you're the boss here" He looked slightly confused when he spoke but Hades reassured him to go with it and say that.

'Kid, I think this is a base of that mind controlling group If that's the case, this guy might not really be the leader but someone who works for him. If you ask me, I'd say that the leader would be comparable to someone with the strength of S rank I also think after asking this, you could get more information on that scientist that girl was looking for if she hasn't already found him yet.'

The man squinted his eyes and smiled, "I'll entertain these questions of yours. You're interesting Even after being threatened, you didn't react in the slightest. Well, If you want to really know, I'm the leader here I do have higher-ups but in this base, I'm the one in charge Now, Let's get back to the actual deal. Kill these people, I'll reward you handsomely on anything you desire.. Just tell me what you need." His smile was smug.

Alex nodded and smiled back, his pupils were now blood red in hue. "Hmm, I only need one thing then." Alex tilted his head as he walked slowly close to the man. 

The man furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "What is that?" 

Alex smiled and pulled out his gun, "I want answers for you, lots of them!" He jumped forwards as he kneed the man in the stomach. 

The attack was clean and precise however, The man seemed to be unaffected by it. He blocked it with his hand just before Alex had hit him. A small smile grew on his face, "With strength like that, I don't even need to use the serum to kill you! I'll make you regret trying to take me down!" He seemed to be angry. The man jumped back and roared. His body slowly grew larger and larger. 

'Just like Gold transformed But his transformation is a tiny bit different, he looks more like a wolf' Alex studied the man's ability. 

Hades slowly explained, 'This won't be as easy as I thought It seems like his powers get enhanced in the dark so even without the serum, His physical strength is equal to you Maybe even stronger' 

Alex nodded and pressed the buttons on the side of his gun. He knew there was no point in trying to shoot the man, Only close quarters combat would be effective at this range. 

'But this also means one special thing I had a move saved up, waiting for someone with a big frame to come into combat with us. I guess you get to try out a new move created by me.' Hades seemed to be smiling. 

Alex didn't know what the move was but he trusted Hades. He had to continue the fight until the time was right and Hades would use the ability. The man jumped towards Alex with full intent to kill. His claws were focused on Alex's next, he wanted to rip it off in one fell swoop. Alex, instead of dodging and jumping backwards, jumped straight towards the man's attack. 

'His claws are long, If you get into his inner range, he can't even connect his attack to you. That's what you have to do in every battle, get into their inner circle where you are too close for them but it's just the right range for you to slice! This weapon was made just for that, You can retract the gun and put it against his chest and press the button, it'll penetrate his chest!' Hades quickly explained.

Alex listened and was surprised when he saw that the claws weren't able to strike him. Alex was too close for the man to proper harm him. Alex retracted his fun and put it against the man's chest. He did exactly as Hades explained and the blade penetrated the man's chest.

The man roared in pain and fell down on the floor. Alex looked excited, 'That was surprisingly easy' He said to himself. 

However, the victory was short-lived. 

"HAHAAHAH!" The man's laughs echoed in the room as he slowly got up. His body was even larger than before and it seemed like he was extremely angry at this point. 

Alex sighed and jumped back. Hades' voice echoed in his mind, 'Now's the perfect time to do the attack I made for you. The thing I taught you is useful in combat but not that much for people whose heart you can't reach with the blade. Forget that for now, Just jump towards him and trust me!' 

Alex was serious as well, He jumped as high as he could and went straight towards the man. The man spun, swinging his claws at Alex, It was going to be a close exchange.

All of a sudden, Alex felt a pull on his body. His entire body was spinning like crazy.
