Chapter 176: Armour

Alex looked at Hana in shock. He had an idea of what was going on but he couldn't believe that Hana was deciding on this. He looked at Her body and could see the wounds on her body slowly healing. 

'That sword The wounds all over Those masked guys did a number on her before she could do something properly. Looking at how she is reacting right now, Hana can't use all her powers without destroying this mine so she decided to just collapse this place and take the battle outside I guess I also need to hurry and end my battle.' Alex turned towards the scientist and then nodded. 

Seeing Alex nod, Hana smiled and looked upwards. Her body was glowing a faint yellow as she floated in the sky and slowly flew upwards. The Masked Awakeneds looked at Hana flying in shock. They didn't know what was happening but they would soon get to know that their lives would be in danger. 

Holding Alex, Hana flew straight in the top of the mine, completely destroying it. Alex, Who had his eyes closed opened them after hearing a loud bang to see that he was high up in the sky.

Alex looked at Hana, who was extremely close to him. Hana and Alex were Arm in Arm, their faces only a few centimeters apart. Hana's eyes opened wide as she quickly rushed downwards and threw Alex away into the desert Sand. 

Alex was honestly surprised by Hana's actions but he soon got to understand why. Alex looked at His body and noticed that his entire body felt like it was burning. His skin around the parts where he had a physical connection with Hana was dark Red, As if Someone had burnt it.

'What' Alex had no clue why his body suddenly felt like it was burning. 'That girl is really your opposite You don't understand now but don't fret, just don't get close to her when she starts glowing.' Hades explained. 

Alex nodded and looked towards the now destroyed Mine. He saw the scientists and the two masked awakened walk out of the rubble. The two masked awakened weren't that injured but The Scientist looked to be slightly affected by the rubble falling on him. However, he had avoided the majority of injuries by using his tentacles as a shield. 

The scientist looked towards Alex with an expression of disdain as he seemed to say something to the Two Masked awakened. Alex looked at Hana and commented, "We should concentrate now. Like you said we'll have to get this over with as quickly as possible, at least for the people who might be stuck in the place. 

Hana nodded and turned to the two awakened that were rushing towards her. Hana sighed when she saw the two rush towards her. Hana could even see the woman in the crying mask shoot multiple tears towards her, however, This time everything was different.

Hana was no longer in fear of destroying the mines, She had already gone to the open, where she could go all out in her attacks without anything to fear. Hana could also do more with her powers. Just like before, Hana's eyes glowed an emerald green as she seemed to glow that yellow colour once more. Hana turned to Alex who seemed to be some distance from her and smiled. 

Alex smiled back, He didn't know about Hana's powers but he no longer questioned it. He knew that she was powerful and that she could do a lot more than what she has shown till now so It was useless worrying about her going against two people whose powers were similar to a Mid S ranked Awakened. Hana was way more powerful than those two, Alex could tell it instantly.

Alex also had more to worry about in terms of the enemies at the moment. The scientist seemed to be scheming something and Alex had to keep his eyes open for what the scheme might be. 

'Let's go all out as well. This will be your last battle for a few days or even more. But the point is, you're unconsciously holding back, fearing that you'll need power after defeating him. But Don't keep that in mind at all. I feel that after you defeat that guy, You won't need to fight till you'll get your energy back. So for that reason, everything you have left in you, just throw it all out and go after him.' Hades slowly spoke to Alex.

Alex was a little bit shocked by Hades's words but it also made sense to him. Alex did feel like when he was trying to go all out in the cave, something felt like it was holding him back still. A slight bit of fear that there might be more enemies but as Alex looked at the situation, The ones in front of him were the leaders, He didn't have anyone else to fight after fighting them.

Alex felt a new burst of energy in his body. His eyes gave off a prominent crimson glow, One which was brighter than ever before. He jumped at the scientist with all his might, reaching new speeds that even Alex didn't know was possible for his body. Alex also felt his physical abilities become stronger. 'You still have so many of your abilities saved up. That might ability is still handy And it seems you got a new ability after killing that big reaper Let's try that out right now!' 

Hades laughed as he saw a few tentacles be shot towards Alex. Alex wanted to dodge but Hades told him to continue. Alex nodded and continued to run straight towards the scientist, As he did, Alex felt heavier. He looked at his body and saw that there was armor on him. Alex was shocked to see that the suit was now what looked to be a lot thicker and had plates over it.

Everything felt heavier but it still didn't stop or prevent any movement. And on top of that, the tentacles that were shot at Alex all hit him but none of them did any damage. The Armour was powerful enough to just take direct hits from that scientist now.
