Chapter 8 - 8 - Not My House
The sun began to shine along with the fresh morning dew.
In a luxurious room, Soo Yin was hugging a bolster pillow comfortably while closing her eyes.
She just thought the mattress felt so soft and so comfortable on her body. She felt the silky sheets and blankets on her body.
'It was like it wasn't the bedspread I'm used to'
Soo Yin muttered to herself.
The girl immediately opened her eyes amid the sleepiness that was still raging—slowly blinking her eyes when she saw the light grey wall.
'This wasn't the colour of my rented house' Soo Yin thought.
She repeatedly rubbed her eyes, afraid that she could not tell the difference between green and grey.
It turned out that the wall's colour didn't change.
She also observed the ceiling above her head, beautifully carved with a crystal chandelier in the centre. It was very different from her rented house, which only had plain motives.
Soo Yin slowly gathered her consciousness as she recalled what happened last night.

She widened her eyes and sat up immediately when she remembered everything clearly.
She was sure that Dae Hyun rode her home from the hospital last night.
Soo Yin immediately threw away the blanket covering her body and hurried to stand up.
She looked at the clothes she wore last night, apparently didn't change so she could breathe freely.
Soo Yin walked down the stairs, which were quite long.
With her 'pillow' face and disheveled hair, the girl went around looking for a way out of the house but could not find it. Instead, she walked into the kitchen.
"Miss, is there anything I can help you with?" Said Aunt Xia when she saw Soo Yin, who was walking around.
Soo Yin jumped up in shock like a thief who entered the house caught by the owner when she heard Aunt Xia's voice.
She turned to Aunt Xia, who was behind her.
"Who are you?" Soo Yin asked while observing the middle-aged woman.
"I work as a maid in this house," Said Aunt Xia politely and kindly.
"Whose house is this?" Soo Yin asked innocently.
"This is Mr Dae Hyun's house," Aunt Xia replied.
"Where is he? Auntie, please tell him I want to go home," Said Soo Yin.
"Miss, you'd better clean up and get changed first," Said Auntie Xia with a smile.
"I didn't bring clothes," Said Soo Yin in a flat tone.
"Calm down. All your clothes are already in the room. Let me show you." Aunt Xia told Soo Yin to follow her.
"But...I want..." Aunt Xia grabbed her wrist to walk following her before Soo Yin could finish her words.
Soo Yin was forced to follow Aunt Xia's steps towards the room that she occupied last night.
Aunt Xia opened a cubicle in the room. Soo Yin was dumbfounded when she saw the contents as there were lots of women's clothes and shoes.
Any woman would be stunned when she saw so many clothes in front of her. Moreover, these clothes were branded at quite fantastic prices.
Soo Yin picked up one dress that caught her eye. It was still new, and there was still a price tag written on it.
When she saw the price, Soo Yin returned the dress to its original place.
"Where are my clothes? There are no clothes that I can wear here," Said Soo Yin as she didn't see any of her clothes.
"These belong to you, Miss. Mr Dae Hyun especially selected them for you last night," Said Aunt Xia.
Last night, Dae Hyun accompanied Auntie Xia to a boutique not far from the Pyeongchang-dong area.
They bought clothes that match Soo Yin's body size.
Somehow, they made the boutique owner have to get up in the middle of the night to serve them because the shop assistants have returned to their homes.
"How many women has he brought into this house?" Soo Yin asked.
"What do you mean, Miss? Whose woman?" Said Aunt Xia, frowning.
"Doesn't Dae Hyun always bring women to this house?" Said Soo Yin bluntly.
"I'm sorry, but Mr Dae Hyun has never brought anyone here, including Miss Aeri," Said Auntie Xia honestly.
Soo Yin already knew that Aeri was Dae Hyun's first wife.
She saw them together several times when there was an event at the hotel.
They frequently went in and out of hotels. This was natural because she was Dae Hyun's wife, who was the owner of the hotel.
"I just remembered he's wealthy! Maybe every woman will be taken to a different house, or Auntie is lying to me?" Soo Yin looked at the middle-aged woman.
"Miss, Mr Dae Hyun is not like that. He really loves Miss Aeri."
Auntie Xia immediately covered her mouth with her palms because she felt she was wrong to say that.
She just realised that Soo Yin was also his wife.
"Never mind, Auntie. I just want to go home. I don't need all this because I'm not an easy woman to be fooled," Said Soo Yin curtly.
"You can't leave until Mr Dae Hyun comes back home," Said Aunt Xia.
"I have to work today. After all, what am I waiting for here? It's wasting my time," Said Soo Yin.
"You are Mr Dae Hyun's wife. You shouldn't say that," Said Aunt Xia.
"I'm just a second wife, not like Miss Aeri, who has to say nice and polite stuff to Dae Hyun," Said Soo Yin with great emphasis.
"You are still his legal wife, after all," Said Aunt Xia.
Actually, Dae Hyun hadn't told her anything about Soo Yin. She had no idea how they got married.
But after all, it would be impossible to bring a woman into this house, if not his wife.
"As long as you know, I never expected to be Dae Hyun's wife! Never mind, I'll leave here." Soo Yin left Aunt Xia to find the exit.
Aunt Xia shook her head at Soo Yin's disrespectful attitude towards her husband. Then, she called security to close all the gates so that Soo Yin couldn't leave the house.
She only obeyed Dae Hyun's orders.
