Chapter 14 The Whole New World
As soon as I open my eyes, I see vivid scenery. I can see different "color" which I only dreamt about. I still don't know which is which, but it is very new to me.
How can the world look so "colorful"? Is this really happening, or am I still dreaming in my bed in Guri? My sight is still blurry, but regardless, I can make out different shapes of people present in the room. I have only felt different faces with my hand to distinguish people. Males have beards, females have smooth skin. I know these things.
There is a woman sitting beside the bed to my right. She appears to be smiling, looking at me; my instinct told me; she was looking at me fondly. I didn't know how I knew this, but I knew this was my Foster Mother, Laura. I never knew what was "beautiful" about a person, but I know for sure, she is a beautiful lady.
A man was standing at the edge of the bed in front of me. He had sharp eyes that could glance directly into your soul, but now he is looking at me lovingly. His gaze was dancing between my eyes, probably wondering about the result. He stood erect with his arms behind his back, giving off a noble aura with an indescribable charm about him. I guess he is my foster father, Robert.
There are many different people here except for my parent. A man with a wrinkeled face; an old man who had something perched above his nose, looking at me curiously. Many people were surrounding me looking at me curiously, which made me nervous.
I finally broke the silence, " umm, I can see but it's still blurry like you said doctor." I replied, looking at the old man.
"Just call me, Michael, Samuel; It is good sign, you will recover in no time." Everyone can finally relax. It was a hectic week for all the staff, but they pulled through.
Michael asked my couple of follow-up questions and reminded me again about the do's and don'ts. He left shorty after the conversation leading everyone outside except for my parents.
My parents were still in a daze, until everyone left. They thoroughly remembered the rules and asked Micheal to send in a copy of the different precautions.
" Sami, I am so happy for you. You are the bravest boy, I know. " The mother congratulated him.

" Yes, Samuel, you have endured so much in the last few days, after we go home, just relax for few days. Ok?" Father chimed in.
I am still shell-shocked, so I nodded while looking around curiously at everything. There was so much to learn, I would look through the windows, seeing trees which were supposed to be green; then my parents, their clothes, equipment beside my bed. Everything was new, which made me feel like an adventurer in the different stories.
From my parents faces, I could see that they were amused by my reaction but didn't stop my strange behavior. They are talking about and preparing for discharge procedures.
Suddenly, I heard Apollo inside my head.
"Young master, I forgot to tell you something important. You can not only access knowledge, but you can see it too, inside your mind. With you being so weak, I didn't suggest this mode of transfer. It takes a heavier toll on your body. Now I think it is the perfect time to do so. In this way you can better identify things, but it will take a couple of days of repeated assimilation. I have every knowledge imaginable, but you have to be selective or slow so that you will not fry your brain circuit."
What Apollo did made sense. I could at first transfer the basic knowledge of this world, then select which path I had to take next. Steady and slow wins the race. I asked him to begin the transfer of basic inventory very slowly, so I could at least function normally. I will arrange it during sleep which will increase the efficiency.
While I am completely immersed in my thoughts, my mother asked--
" Samuel, why are you making a serious face? Does it hurt any where?" she said with worry.
" No, no, mother, I am fine, don't worry about me. It all feels like a dream, I am trying to process it all." I said immediately. I didn't want her to worry, I could only hear before, but now seeing her worried face made my heartache. She also looked tired.
" Well, can you walk now?" she said, then looked at Father to continue," Maybe we should call for a wheelchair, right honey?"
" No, mother, I can walk perfectly, please stop worrying; I know its not good for your health." I said.
" Wow, my son has already started to worry about his mother; He has already became an adult at the age of 10. " she said jokingly. We were already bickering back and forth.
Robert was watching this all with a small smile; he felt content after so many years. His wife was also beaming in the face despite the past ardous week. He finally felt that the family was complete.
They stayed for half and hour, then went outside, where Old John was waiting, and finally made their way toward the estate.

Meanwhile, in the Rothchild mansion, everyone was anticipating and patiently waiting for Samuel. Four elders, two children and a dozen servants were preparing as soon as they heard that a young master would be back along with a mysterious boy.
Mary and Peter were in a heated discussion.
" I will finally be an uncle, it's about time. I am looking forward to meeting Samuel, sister-in-law always talked about him these past days. She said he looked like an angel, even better than girls and how he is extremely intelligent. I will throughly test that theory today. What about you aunt Mary?" Peter said jokingly.
" Don't call me an aunt. I will be his big sister, I am only twenty-five we are not that far apart in age. humph" Mary said.
" I thought you were twenty-seven and seventeen years is a big difference, people of that age are old enough to drink!" Peter doubled down.
" You should never talk about a lady's age, brother. That is rude! " Mary said scarily.
They were fighting when suddenly a sound came from the entrance. Everyone got up and went toward the entrance.
