Chapter 25 Flabbergasted Thomas-2 And Another Visitor?
Thomas woke up late the next morning; all the excitement he felt kept him up late, but the spark was still there. He hurriedly took his breakfast and left for Rothchild's mansion. He wanted to meet his friend and inquire more in person.
Seeing the frantic behavior of her husband, his wife could only tell him to be careful on the road before he dashed out the front gate.
Thomas reached the estate at around eleven in the morning and mentioned the nature of his visit to the guards.
Arthur came to pick him up at the door and led him to the garden area.
As soon as Thomas entered the garden deck he saw his friend drinking tea, quietly enjoying the morning warmth.
" Old man, I came as soon as I can, please tell me more about the book, the curiousity is practically killing me. " He said
Donald looked to his right to see the man who came being led by Arthur. He already expected the visit and mentioned it to the old butler in the morning. He knew Thomas all too well.
" First, tell me your views on the book; Isn't is great? " Donald chuckled while saying this.
" Yes, my friend, the book was amazing. It would definitely become a fan-favorite after it gets published, but there was no author name on the manuscript. Who wrote such a masterpiece? Don't tell me you are the author and all this is your silly prank? " Thomas said.
" No, but you will be seeing the author soon; he is here on the estate. I already informed Arthur to call me here." Donald added.
As Donald was finishing the sentence there came walking sounds from behind Thomas, he subconsciously turned back to see a boy walking toward them.
The boy was only about ten years old, but his body was exuberating with a parallel temperament. He had sharp green eyes and white hair which made him look unearthly. Thomas was confused at first; then reality sunk in and abruptly turned toward Donald to see him just smiling, clearly amused at his reactions.
" Good morning, grand-uncle, and you must be Thomas Brown; Good morning. Uncle mentioned you the other day. "the boy said.

" Thomas, my friend, meet the author of "The Hobbit"; my great-nephew, Samuel Rothchild. " Donald said.
" but, how, when----" I was flabbergasted; I had heard rumors about the new adopted heir, but they were rumors: how could anyone believe any rumor about the Rothchild family. There were countless such rumors, and new ones would pop when every now and then to squeeze any benefits through this prestigious family.
But what surprised me more was that the author was a little kid. Donald should not lie about these things, so it must be true. I sighed, another legendary figure would emerge soon, and his potential supersedes, all who came before him.
" Well, Donald I hope you are joking with me, but regardless; It's great to meet you, young master Samuel. " He said.
" Please, just call me Samuel. I will be partnering with you for many more future projects, so I don't want to be so formal. " Samuel said.
" If that is the case, just call me Uncle Thomas in the future. You are a brilliant writer and have created a magnificent world in your book. How would you like to proceed? " he asked.
We discussed this for a good two hours. Marketing should not be excessive; Samuel wanted be low key. Pen-name, book cover, profit distribution, they talked about several aspects, we were about to finish the discussion, but Arthur came to inform about another visitor who came for the visit.
I excused myself, basic things were discussed; some of the family's subordinates would handle the rest. I left the two as they started chatting about different things.
I walked about and thought that today would be a busy one.
------------------------------------------
I walked inside the mansion to find Aunt Carol and Hannah sitting on the sofa. Carol was talking with Laura and they were in a heated discussion about fashion.
Hannah was sitting holding a glass of juice, slowly sipping it while Oscar was trying to entertain her, in which he was failing miserably.
I came in, which made everyone focus toward me. Hannah leaped out, placing her glass on the coffee table, and rushed toward me, directly leaping into my arms.
Fortunately, I caught her or both of us would have fallen flat on the floor.
" Hannah, try not to do this in the future; you could have hurt yourself. " I said in her ears. She was burying her face left-right on my chest.
" Big brother, I am sorry but I missed you so much, so I called aunt Laura to see you. I came to tell big brother that the book you gave me was amazing. " She said.
" Hannah dont make trouble for Samuel, Sami we came unexpected but Hannah was restless all-night so I consulted Laura about it and here we are. I hope we didn't disturb you. " Aunt Carol said.
" No, no, Aunt I am truly happy to see you guys. I was going to visit in few days after all things got settled here. You are always welcome to visit me." I said.
" Come Sami, you have't eaten yet, lets have lunch together. Everyone else already ate. Lets to dinning room. " Mother said.
" Let's go, sister." I held Hannah's hand and went toward the room.
We had lunch and Hannah kept telling me about her favorite parts of the book. How she liked the old grandfather and little hobbits, and the scary part about the dragons and such.
I and everyone else listened to the whole thing; we would laugh from time to time when Hannah showed her cute little movement trying to re-enact her imagination.
Hannah and Carol also met other family members. Granpa, Grandma and Grand-aunt all got defeated instantly by Hannah's cuteness. They also joined the " Hannah Play" which warmed my heart.
" It's so great to have small children in the house, Samuel you should learn from Hannah. You cann't grow up to fast and start to do business stuff this early. " This was a cumulative complaint from the whole family. I could only nod helplessly.
During the conversation with Aunt Carol, I got to know that Hannah's birthday was coming up in a month, which gave me sometime to prepare a great gift.
Hannah's play gave me just the perfect idea for the gift.
The whole fiasco continued until late evening, and before long Hannah and Aunt were ready to head home. The whole family came to see them off at the entrance.
It was a busy but productive day.
