Chapter 76: The Second Hunt (2)
Chapter 76: The Second Hunt (2)
"It's over!!"
Shiiing!
With the sword techniques passed down from his father, Wos cut down a Bearus that has evolved.
Its thick skin was slashed, and its muscles were pierced through, striking the bone and tearing its life.
Thud!
The hard and large body of the Bearus soon fell down when it couldn't hold to its life anymore.
The dust formed when the rocks on the ground were disturbed, and the trees shook when Dawn landed on the ground in front of the Bearus.
Thud!
Dawn watched the battle with Karkas, who swiftly followed after him by dropping down to the ground.
Karkas' movement was so swift and clean that you wouldn't think that he was a goblin.
"Hmm. Good job. You didn't use your Aura in doing that." Dawn said as he rubbed his chin with one of his hands.
He remembered how Didi took down a Bearus before. He compared both of them purely on might, and it was close, but Didi was still better.
After all, Didi didn't rely on any Aura on any battle in his entire life.
Well, he might use Aura from now on since he now knows the existence of it.
But, the power and experience of Didi, who already knows his extreme limits that came just from his body, would be greater.
Wos knew the existence of Aura ever since he was born. Wos was as if he was a baby with a sword, while Didi was a big man with no weapon.
And if Didi gains that weapon, it should be clear who would be stronger.
Well, Didi has evolved to High Tower, so the gap was huge, but Dawn was comparing Didi to Wos when he was still Goblin High Big.
"Yes, king." Wos bowed deeply when Dawn walked up to him.
Thud!
A sound of something falling to the ground was heard, and dust also rolled up from the impact.
They knew what the cause of it was, so they didn't pay much attention.

"King." Mos appeared from the dust as he walked towards Dawn.
He bowed down just like Wos and just let Dawn think for himself.
Well, Dawn wasn't really thinking, but he was 'feeling.' He was feeling if Mos used any Aura in battling the Bearus that just died.
And the conclusion Dawn came to when he finished feeling was...
"Hmm. You used it once to protect yourself." Dawn said as he nodded his head.
"Yes, you're correct." Mos replied just as such.
Although this may look weird to others who didn't know what they were doing, it wasn't for the goblins near them.
For Dawn, who was basically the strongest goblin living in the area, fighting monsters wouldn't result in a beneficial or good way.
It would end just with a snap of his fingers. That was how powerful Dawn was right now.
However, what would benefit Dawn while also taking a look at his goblins' prowess?
It would be to analyze the battle and see what they did by using his instincts solely.
He felt what they did judging from the goblins' muscles, pain, wounds, scratches, basically anything that would tell him of the battle itself.
"Hmmm. Good job. You're still not used to fighting without Aura." Dawn said as he nodded his head once more.
It was absurd that he could tell the battle just by looking at the goblins who fought, but it wouldn't be if you think about his recent evolution to the Goblin Great Count.
Furthermore, he was just basically getting started learning how to analyze the battle just by using his instincts.
He would make mistakes here and there, but he was able to jot it down due to time passing.
That was how absurd and incredible the goblin named Dawn.
"Let's move on to the next location." Dawn said as he took a look behind him.
They were already far away from their current village as the monsters here were weak.
Well, they weren't really weak, but when compared to Dawn's blessed goblins, they wouldn't be able to put up a decent fight.
Anyway, they weren't really planning on sweeping this place completely. Adjusting here would take time, and destroying their food source just as they came to would be a bad move.
Even the goblins, who are basically brutes, could understand this fact.
After all, goblins only get their food from the monsters they hunt.
"Yes, king." Karkas bowed and went on his way to order the goblins.
Although the goblins he orders are now a thousand or so, Karkas could still control them like the palm of his hand.
His Goblin Strategist evolution was so beneficial to the current situation of the village.
The two goblins, Wos and Mos, took their leave too with a bow and went to the direction where Karkas disappeared.
And Dawn just watched them left as he thought.
---Only goblins from the Four Big Villages knows how to use the Aura...
The goblins that he got from his recent expedition all know about how to use the Aura.
It was good that they know about how the Aura, but what was bad was that his own goblins don't know how to.
Even if Dawn forces himself not to think about it, this issue always finds its way to Dawn's mind.
After all, having a squad of Aura users, just like how his previous enemies did have some, would be extremely useful for Dawn.
However, the issue is the goblins didn't know about it. Even Didi didn't know how to use Aura accurately.
---This is bad, isn't it...I can't always fight alone.
What's more, the upcoming enemy villages or battles with other villages would definitely become fiercer and harsher.
And that would be because the blessed goblins that the enemy have would know how to Aura or some other weird powers.
If Dawn always fought against them alone, he would certainly die no matter how strong he is.
After all, Dawn almost died in the last battle.
He could be said to be said lucky to have survived a great battle like that.
---Can goblins even teach someone Aura?
This was Dawn's real problem.
He didn't know if a goblin could be taught how to use Aura or if a goblin could teach another goblin.
After all, Dawn just knew how to Aura instinctively. He didn't think about it, and he didn't mind it at all; he just knew it.
That was how he was able to use Aura back then with his fight against Womo.
However, he doesn't know how Aura works for other goblins.
Do they know instinctively? Do they think about it? Can they use it without a problem?
The saving grace in this situation is that the goblins who know about Aura can give some insights about Aura.
---I'll ask them about it later.
Dawn thought as he too began to move as soon as he saw his goblins moving in for another location.
The corpses that some goblins bring back to the village seem so good in Dawn's eyes that he was getting hungry right now.
Touching his belly, which seems to go hungry so often ever since he evolved, Dawn spoke.
"I'm kinda getting tired with meals like that, though..."
As he imagined the meals of meat that was his food ever since he was born, Dawn tried imagining other types of meals.
However, no matter how much he did, nothing came up.
After all, he was just a goblin.
"Huuu." Dawn sighed as he disappeared into the forest.
****
Dawn was currently jumping from one tree to another as he moved into the forest.
His eyesight that was better now due to his evolution could be used much better if he was in a high place like atop a tree's branch.
He could also hear some occasional fighting happen from afar, but it wasn't really on his mind right now.
Right now, his job was to feel his blessed goblins' battle: Didi, Una, Dal, and many more.
Although he was trying his best to feel every goblin as much as possible, he couldn't do it.
After all, Dawn was just a goblin. Even if he does reach the goblin's peak somehow, he is just a goblin in the end.
And that is true even right now.
Seeing and feeling every goblin's battle with only his instincts is impossible for a goblin.
He was already incredible when he was able to feel accurately for some goblins, so doing it for all of them is asking for too much.
It was then.
As Dawn was focusing his hardest on his goblins, he suddenly felt an invasion in his 'focused state.'
No, could he call it that? It was as if someone was also trying...to look at his goblins.
To look at Dawn.
---Hmmm.
Interesting. Dawn thought.
After all, he knew no one who could do the same thing as him.
And the fact that he could feel it nonetheless piqued his interest.
"I'll take a look at you!"
