Chapter 38
Chapter 38
“That’s what he’s capable of.”
Outside the arena, I watched Jin-woo and the Ranger Club member duel, and I was able to confirm that what was written in the Character Book was true.
“Even though he’s buffed, I didn’t expect him to beat a second-year student by himself.”
His skills were real, beyond my expectations.
His flexibility was uncanny, his movements caught me off guard, and his dagger skills were skilled. But it was his abilities that impressed me the most.
“He must have inherited the bloodline powers.”
At first, I thought it was just a little bit of wind manipulation, but then I realized that his use of it was very similar to that of his father, Antonio Bevalt.
The ability to control and manipulate the wind around him.
Although he can’t create wind, it’s clear that it’s an ability that can’t be ignored when the conditions are right.
In fact, in the game, Jin-woo’s father, Antonio Bevalt, single-handedly wiped out an entire organization on a stormy day.
“Anyway, he’s a special kid.”
Imagine my surprise when he first told me he was going to fight a Ranger Club member.
“Ah, boss, you’re here!”
He spotted me as soon as he walked out of the arena and waved to me.
Judging by the way he was grinning from ear to ear, the damage inside hadn’t been too bad.
“I told you, I don’t get beat up everywhere.”
He stretched his chest out in triumph as he’d just beaten a second grader.
“Certainly, the way you deflected the arrows was impressive, but if it were me, I’d have finished him off in one hit.”
“That’s because the boss is a monster, and I’ve been training a bit to try and ……deflect some of his arrows.”
He looks like he’s used to parrying arrows, but that’s because he’s been training recently.
He was obviously frustrated that he couldn’t finish the fight faster.
If he’d seen me wipe out the Triads on the docks, he wouldn’t have thought of that.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought of him seeing that.
“Well, good job. Looks like you did what I asked.”
As I said that, I looked over at the members of the Recipe Development Club, who were running toward us.
They were all carrying something in their hands.

“Oh, senior sisters, did you see my woo woo woo woo?!”
As soon as they arrived in front of Jin-woo, they scooped food out of the bowls in their hands and immediately started shoveling it into his mouth.
“This is Mugwort porridge, good for recovery.”
“It’s Stone Mountain Strawberry soup, it makes your blood flow increase.”
“These are the golden garlic cookies I just baked. They’re a little burnt, but they’ll do the trick.”
Apparently, they were quite worried about Jin-woo, as this was a fight to protect them.
After being forcibly fed the nourishing food by the girls, Jin-woo’s expression began to soften, and then his face changed and he collapsed into a heap.
“Jin-woo!”
“Was there something in the concoction that shouldn’t have been mixed?”
“Bring me some black lemon juice for when you pass out quickly!”
And Se-ah, who was watching from behind.
“That guy…… is giggling even when he’s passed out, it’s gross.”
I couldn’t agree more.
Meanwhile, in the distance, Young-jae’s figure could be seen smiling towards this direction.
Apparently, the people around them were members of the Ranger Club.
Blending in with them, Young-jae seemed to be doing his job well.
“Let’s go back first, because that guy…… is probably going to wake up soon, judging by the way he’s moving his mouth when he’s fainted.”
I don’t think he can move on his own, so I put my arm around his shoulders, feeling his jaw move behind my back.
“If you drool on my back, you’ll get it.”
I can definitely feel his jaw movements slowing down but I’m pretty sure he’s actually passed out, judging by the energy I can feel.
Soon after I toss him back on the couch in disarray.
“Resurrection.”
I could see Jin-woo waking up like a ghost.
“Mr. Jin-woo, did you really pass out?”
Se-ah asks, her eyes widening at the sight of Jin-woo waking up at such a perfect time.
“Didn’t you see that I actually fainted as soon as I got out of the duel because I was relaxed?”
Jin-woo protests, but Se-ah doesn’t seem to believe him.
“Anyway, you did well. They won’t be able to dare to come back for a while with the duel you showed them.”
Since a first-year took out a second-year Ranger Club member they would be hiding for a while.
“Right, right, right, hahaha! See? Even the boss says I did a good job.”
“More importantly, now that they’ve realized that the Recipe Development Club has joined forces with us, I’m sure they’ll do something else.”
Ideally, they’d give up the recipe for the Golden Walnut Pie, but judging by the looks on their faces as they watched…..the duel that seemed unlikely.
“Well, it’s getting late, so let’s call it a day.”
Today was the day to receive the Maestro’s suit and I had just gotten a message from Parnello that I was promoted to an Executive.
If I wanted to get dressed before the ceremony to celebrate my Executive status, I had to move quickly.
“I’ll give you my number, Miss Isheri, so if you think you’re going to run into anything outside the academy, you can call me at this number.”
With that, I simply stamped my number on her cell phone while Jin-woo jumped out of his seat and took her number as well.
“Don’t forget me either, lady, I’ll be there like the wind anytime.”
……I couldn’t stop myself, really.
I wonder if he’s like that because his father is Italian, or if he’s always been like that.
With that, I parted ways with the others and left the academy, going straight to Han Seo-joon waiting sedan.
“Let’s go to the Maestro.”
“Yes, Master. By the way, I heard that you’ve been promoted to an Executive position in Corleone this time, congratulations.”
“Well, it’s just a title since I don’t have an area of responsibility…….By the way, have you told the Maestro?”
It’s now 5pm and I thought about calling the maestro since I had just gotten out but Han Seo-joon shakes his head.
“Anyway, for today, Maestro knows that Din rented the shop. He’s probably having tea with Don at the tailor shop right now.”
“Father, wasn’t the Executive screening earlier today?”
“Since you were the subject of the examination, in the interest of equity, he did not participate. If Don had been there, I’m sure he’d have voted in your favor.”
“I’m sure.”
There were some family members who would have hated him if he voted for me.
I’d have to ask Parnello about the judgment later.
The sedan drove down a long boulevard until it came to a busy street, where an old, two-story building stood out from the rest of the ornate buildings.
“This is [Per l’Imperatore], the maestro’s tailor shop.”
[Per l’Imperatore]. I thought it was a fitting name for a tailor shop run by a maestro, meaning for the emperor.
“The homeless man in front of the store, the citizens hanging around, they’re all part of the organization.”
“Did you notice ……?”
“If ordinary people walked like that, most of Seoul’s citizens would be excellent hitmen.”
It wasn’t anything I couldn’t understand, since my father, the boss of Corleone was inside and I just arrived outside…….
It gave me chills to think that almost an entire block belonged to the family.
“I’ll take you.”
Parked in the parking lot behind the tailor shop, Han Seo-joon casually gets out of his seat and opens the back door for me.
Apparently, there are people inside the other cars, including the parking attendant. That meant my father’s influence was beyond my imagination.
As I open the door and step inside, a sweet yet heavy aroma tickles my nose, at the same time, the staff bow their heads towards me.
“Welcome, Master Eugene Han Corleone.”
I thought the building had a classic exterior, unlike the other buildings in the neighborhood, but the interior was more than I expected.
Far from a modern atmosphere, it felt like I was in an industrial-era high-end tailor shop.
I acknowledged their greeting with a quick bow and followed their lead to the Maestro’s office, where my father was said to be.
“Maestro. The Master is here.”
There was a knock on the door, and as I opened it, I heard a heavy voice from inside.
[Come in]
Beyond the door, which opened very smoothly despite its age there were two middle-aged men sitting across from each other around a circular table.
My father, Don Vito Corleone, dressed in a black suit and puffing on a cigar, and the Maestro, a clean-cut man in a simple brown suit.
“Haha! That must be the son you’ve been bragging about, Don.”
“Yes, he is one of the few things I’m proud of. Eugene, as I’m sure you’ve heard, this is Roberto Haber, head tailor of l’Imperatore and one of the few maestros in the world.”
Roberto rises from his seat at my father’s introduction, crosses his hands over his chest, and bows respectfully.
“You make a big deal out of it, but I’m just an old man……who can’t do anything but make clothes. It is an honor to meet you, Master Eugene Hahn Corleone, the living legend of Corleone.”
“I am honored to meet the Maestro, a living legend.”
“Hahaha, I’m honored by your words. Now, since you’re here, Don, let’s get right to the measurements.”
“Please.”
Saying that, Roberto approached me and as he snapped his fingers a blue tape measure formed around his index finger.
“Well, then, Master. Would you mind taking off your coat?”
“Yes, sir…….Your measuring tape is unusual.”
“It’s one of this old man’s not-so-unusual talents. It’s a magical tape measure that can not only accurately measure dimensions, but also reveal the nature and characteristics of an object. Now, would you please raise your arm first?”
A measurement tape that can reveal properties and characteristics. Doesn’t every maestro have one of these skills?
With that thought in mind, I naturally lifted my arm and the measurement tape wrapped around my chest at the same time.
“Chest measurement is 102.3……huh?”
Roberto suddenly looks puzzled, and then.
“Huh……. That’s hard.”
Maestro Roberto suddenly sighs and shakes his head.
What’s wrong with this guy?
