Chapter 237 - One-Headed Abalone.
Chapter 237: One-Headed Abalone.
But at that moment, Chu Xian was shocked by the sea louses actions. He watched as the sea louse quickly swam over to an abalone, and with a quick snatch of its claw, grabbed it and stuffed it in its mouth.”
“What the fuck?”
Chu Xian watched the sea louse eat the abalone in astonishment. He knew that sea louse were a type of seabed scavenger, but when the hell had they started eating abalone?
“The wide seas are mysterious . The reason why this place isn’t overflowing with abalone is definitely because this guy is eating them. Abalone are full of energy, and eating them has let this guy grow a meter long.”
Chu Xian sighed in amazement, and his heart was filled with conjecture as he examined the eating louse.
“This seems like a method of devouring energy to strengthen the body, letting it break through its bottleneck. If this guy continued on for more years or even decades, there’s no telling whether this guy might not grow up to two to three meters in length and really become a monster.”
“But you are too unlucky. You’ve messed with me, and there’s no way I will let you go.”
Chu Xian looked at the blood on his head and killing intent filled him as he charged forward.
Chu Xian’s current combat power had reached 3500, and this sea louse was weaker than him by three to four hundred points; moreover, there was a huge gap in their abilities.
As Chu Xian charged forward, the sea louse hugged the abalone, its claws waving in front of it. To Chu Xian’s amazement, its claws slowly straightened, and two half meter long claws extended forward. In the ink black sea bed, they glowed with a metallic brilliance, and were shaped like life reaping sickles.
“Fuck, if I get cut by that it won’t be good.” Chu Xian examined the poised sea louse and thought it was readying an ultimate attack. Chu Xian felt that the matter had grown complicated, but he did not stop moving; a water bullet formed in his mouth and his tail thrashed violently. His giant, bloody mouth was ready to launch a deadly strike, and his two claws were ferociously extended.
“Ka!”
Chu Xian rushed forward, but the sea louse’s claws extended again, and in an instant grew to two meters in length.
“Water bullet!” Chu Xian shot an electrically charged bullet of water at the sea louse.

“Hiss, hiss!” The sea louse did not dodge, but rather stabbed its claw forward, intercepting the bullet. Instantly, the claw snapped.
But losing a claw seemed to drive the sea louse into deeper ferocity, and the rest of its claws danced forward and stabbed at Chu Xian’s head.
“Pa!”
Chu Xian’s metal tail swung around and smashed the sea louse, in an instant smashing four or five claws.
“Ka!”
But as Chu Xian attacked, the rest of the sea louse’s claws continued moving, cutting the water like a reaper’s scythe, swiping at Chu Xian’s head, leaving marks on Chu Xian’s plate.
Bloody marks even appeared on his two claws.
“Go die!” Chu Xian ignored the louse’s attacks and the wound on his head. His body rapidly closed in, and his face grew fierce as he widened his meter long mouth, revealing lines of terrifying teeth, and snapped into the sea louse’s body.
The sweet taste of blood filled his mouth, and he the sea louse thrash powerfully, but Chu Xian chewed down, slowly tearing away a huge chunk of meat.
He grabbed forward with his two claws and attacked the sea louse’s wound, grabbing and ripping it in two.
Two minutes later, the sea louse had finally lost all movement and Chu Xian finally relaxed, loosening his mouth.
“What a terrifying monster. The ocean really can’t be approached with ordinary reason.”
Chu Xian looked at the sea louse corpse and exhaled. He swam to the side and rested.
The wounds on his body quickly disappeared as he used up energy to heal himself. He looked over at the deep hole and wondered.
“Are there any more of these monsters inside? Will there be any treasure?”
Chu Xian wondered. He did not know if there were any more monstrous sea louse around, and he did not know what might be hiding in the eight meter deep cave.
“Then, I’ll throw in these dinoflagellate in and see what happens.” Chu Xian suddenly noticed some luminous creatures nearby, and swam over, grabbed them in a claw, returned to the deep cave, and tossed them in.
After throwing four or five of the creatures in, a faint glow filled the cave, and Chu Xian could use his god’s eye view to get a clear sense of the situation.
“It’s fine. There was only a single sea louse, not a mating pair.” Chu Xian smiled, and slowly swam inside.
He wanted to see if this nest of such a strong sea louse contained any treasure. Logically, since he’d slain a boss, there should be treasure.*
The dim light illuminated claw marks on both sides of the walls, and Chu Xian lowered his head to check the ground and noticed a similar pattern.
“This cave must have been dug out by the sea louse little by little. Fuck, how terrifying.”
When he saw the marks, Chu Xian could immediately guess what had happened. The whole was over eight meters deep and had a diameter of about three meters. If he told people that all of this had been dug out by a sea louse, nobody would believe him.
“There are so many abalone shells.”
As he swam deeper, Chu Xian found many abalone shells on the floor, at least a couple hundred. This guy must have been eating these abalone for two or three years at the very least.
“This?” Suddenly, Chu Xian’s pupils constricted. On the ground lay a basin sized abalone shell.
“What a gigantic abalone shell. Fuck me, this abalone must be at least three or four catties.”
People had found three to four catty abalones before, and the record was something like a five catty abalone. This kind of abalone weighed over a catty when dried, and was a one headed abalone with a price of three to four million rmb.
“A one headed abalone. Such an incredibly rare abalone was actually eaten by this thing.” Chu Xian looked at the abalone shell with a pained heart and helplessly shook his head.
“Yi?” While Chu Xian was sighing, he suddenly noticed a gigantic thing stuck to the side of the stone wall.
Chu Xian paused, and then excitement filled his face and he hurriedly swam over, his huge eyes staring forward.
“There is another one, haha, there is one left. My luck is too good.” Chu Xian looked at the basin sized abalone and immediately reached forward to grab it.
“This... this will definitely weigh over a catty when dried. A one headed abalone, this is definitely a one headed abalone.” Chu Xian was incredibly excited. This this, even if he did not sell it, would be incredible to eat.(A/N about looking shit up online, and how he’s not too sure about this abalone shit.).
Of course, if he ate it himself it would be too ridiculous. He still planned to sell it.
He held on to the abalone and continued searching the area. Chu Xian found nothing else of note and left the dark cave, returning to the island and swimming around again.
To his disappointment, however, there was only one deep cave, and only the one big abalone. He found over ten more two headed abalone, but he had nothing to carry them with, and even if he picked them up he wouldn’t be able to bring them back with him.
“Let’s go find some expensive fish!”
With a one headed abalone in hand, Chu Xian continued to wander around. He focused on fish and kept searching, but he did not find any expensive fish.
“It looks like even in a protected sea, it is extremely difficult to find fish like the Chinese Bahabas.”
“But I already got a lot. I took out a school of fish and got these abalones. This is already a large haul.” Chu Xian smiled and returned to shore.
When Chu Xian left the water, he found Sword Two and Sword Three waiting for him. He walked over and tossed them the abalone before asking them to find a net.
Then, Chu Xian dived back into the water and returned to the island. This time, he gathered all the two heads abalone in his net. In total he had 18, and they were worth five to six million rmb.
When he left the water again and saw Sword Two and Sword Three holding the abalone, glee appeared on his face. This night had brought him 10 million rmb. This kind of terrifying earning was even faster than stealing from a bank.
When he returned to his room, Chu Xian collapsed on his bed and fell asleep.
When he woke again it was already past noon, and Chu Xian and the others ate a little and wandered the island.
They visited South Ji Island’s highest mountain, and from the peak they could look at out the entirety of South Ji Island’s scenery. As he looked out at the greenery and the vast expanse of water, Chu Xian’s heart filled with desire.
Just like he had wanted to own his own fish farm, now he wanted to own his own island.
But this goal was still too distant. A fish farm might cost a couple million or tens of millions, but an island would cost hundred of millions or even billions.
And purchasing the land was the least important matter, and he would need to develop the land and construct buildings. This kind of price tag was even out of reach of some of the richest people in the world.
This matter could not be resolved just with billions.
Chu Xian shook his head, and flung away the unrealistic thoughts. He turned away and continued wandering around.
It was currently off season, and there were very few visitors to South Ji Island. The place was not some world-famous attraction like Bali or Maldives or Phuket. Not a lot of people came to visit, and the ones who did were mostly normal people.
That night, Chu Xian returned to the water and spent the whole time searching for expensive fish, not even stopping to devour.
But after the entire night, Chu Xian still did not see any Chinese Bahabas. If he really wanted them, he might have to take a trip to Burma.
But Chu Xian thought about the trip and then thought it wasn’t worth it.
Although he did not find any Chinese Bahabas, he happened upon some higher energy fish.
The White flower fish was a fish Chu Xian had found in the shallow waters. This three catty white flower fish had surprised Chu Xian with its 900+ energy rating.
After devouring it, Chu Xian gained the genes of the white flower fish.
After he returned to shore and looked up the species, Chu Xian understood why this White Flower Fish had so much energy.
