Chapter 23: First Act: Bloodbound Summoning [1]
The three constellations that grant blessings and talents.
The god of elements
The god of swords
The god of technique
Those were the main ones in the game.
Although, there were other small constellations regarding different aspects such as greed, fear, love and such.
Then there came a 4th Constellation.
A constellation that grew in disciples compared to the others.
One that brought misfortune and chaos along with it.
The demonic church.
A church dedicated to the demonic constellation.
It was an organization or cult slowly rising in the shadows.
But he hasn't fully manifested into this world.
Reason being there must be Pure Blood being shed.
And what blood is more pure than Noble blood.
This all traces back in the war between Humans and Demons long ago.
The descendants of the Hero are the Noble and Prestigious Families of today.
Although I never came to understand how the family tree ever worked.
But in every noble house there's atleast a trace of the Hero's blood or Pure blood even if it's a little.
A group of students will begin assassinating and killing noble blood around Ravenwood.
But that all starts with the dissappearances of students around the campus.
Later the bodies will be found dead but in a different sight entirely.
Blood smeared into a magic circle ready to summon the demonic god's presence or atleast a shard of his power.
And one of the targets is none other Amy Bluerose.
Her cockiness will ofcourse attract attention.

That's how the first act plays out in summary.
Although there's more to it.
Noah thought through while sitted in class as he slightly gazed at Amy who was sitted at the front.
"Should I just go ahead and kill the student behind all this...since I know who it is?"
Noah mumbled.
"No...I can't interfere with the story's progression in its early stages."
Noah then looked out the window as he saw carriages arriving in the school grounds.
'The Noble families of the two students who were found dead...
Two killings happened yesterday night, a girl from the Gregs family and the boy from Vanhordt family.
I feel bad for them, but all in all they're mob characters whose purpose is to drive the story forward.
After the incidents yesterday, the maids from moonlight Hall arrived and took the bodies to the infirmary where after all the chaos were pronounced dead.
It took a while for the students to return to their rooms but even so it was hard to fall asleep after.
The case is still ongoing.
Security has been reinforced and they've concluded that there are assasins in the school premises.
It's going to be hard to interrogate every student and faculty in Ravenwood so even the higher ups are in a daze and state of not knowing what to do.
He watched as the different family members and school faculty members were talking and then the noble families bursting in anger although he couldn't quite hear what they were saying from where he was.
'They're probably cursing their lungs out and threatening to sue the school...
But there is nothing they can do, there's a statement in the school's documents that clearly indicates death mortalities in the academy are inevitable.'
'For now...the classes will still go on, but in the next 3 days they'll be put off as the missing cases continue growing.'
After the day's classes had ended, Noah made his away to a certain room dedicated for the students council members.
It wasn't Noah who had called the meeting but Xander.
'As a hero would do, try to figure out a solution or prevention method for what is happening.'
Noah thought as he sat down near a window.
The rest of the members walked in with their assistants as well.
"Hello everyone, I know we all just got acquainted but does anyone know what we can do as the student council?"
Xander asked.
"I agree, even though the case and situation is still new in a way, we should atleast try to come up with something..."
Rylan pitched in.
Noah couldn't help but wonder.
'I'm really in the same room as the main characters.'
Once again, his mind kept on thinking of ways to kill them all in one go here and now.
But he knew all that was impossible.
If he did, he'll have to face the assistants as well.
Outside there were the school's knights.
And if he was the only one that survived and came up with a story, the noble families where they came from would not have it.
They would ensure his head was cut off or even tortured.
Because how can someone like him even though from a count house survive such a cruelty?
It wouldn't make sense.
So for now he could just make up his own fantasies.
"What do you think Noah?"
"You are the Blessed Sage after all..."
Xander pointed out.
"Tsk..."
Amy scoffed then let her head drop.
She then looked at Xander and spoke.
"You really think he would know what to do?"
The room was silent but Ariana spoke up as well.
"I mean...no need to be harsh...
We're all in the same situation, unless you have something you can share?"
"Even if I did, what makes you think I'd share any information?"
Amy was quick to answer.
'Amy...no wonder she was the first main character to fall, her ego can't even be compared.'
Noah thought.
Even though in reality he knew methods to prevent all that was happening.
But sharing information would greatly affect the story.
And that shouldn't be the case in the game's early stages.
On top of that where would be the fun in knowing the future and being advantageous?
"Uhm...what about you Seraphina?"
Xander asked.
Seraph didn't know what to do and just gave a blank response, "sorry, I'm stamped as well."
Noah gazed at Seraph for a while and then averted his gaze.
'Liar...'
"For now, I think it's best to have the students be wary and keen, it might bring about trust issues but there's nothing we can do."
Noah finally spoke.
'Trust issues are also the key to the first acts progression...as in the course of all the panic and chaos some students will begin to kill each other out of doubt and mistrust...'
"Okay, I agree with Noah...
If anyone else comes up with something don't hesitate to share with the others..."
"For now we'll dismiss but I'll take a visit to the school's faculty and ask if protection artifacts or magic can be used on the Manors..."
"Protection magic?"
Rylan asked Xander.
"Yeah, protection magic that has the Manors closed and a barrier is released after a certain time at night.
No one would be able to go in or out until morning hours when the barrier is dropped automatically."
"But what if the killer or killers are students in the manors as well?"
Amy asked.
"Don't worry, every students room will be closed down as well, noone goes in or out."
After that the meeting was dismissed and in the next two days the protection magic worked like a charm.
It was almost peaceful and there were no more incidents.
Everyone thought it had subsided but the school's higher ups saw it fit to have the barriers still be used.
Xander and Rylan helped out especially in strengthening the security and the school took account of them as they were slowly recognised.
But what they didn't know was that the mastermind behind the killings was aware of the protection magic.
And being a student in the magic engineering department they had a way to bypass the magic.
And after the second day, the missing rates rose higher and higher.
