Upon reviewing the attributes of the two buildings, Qiang Nantie was astounded once again!
They were incredibly potent.
The capabilities of the Spirit Spring, in particular, were akin to a versatile water resource.
His earlier concerns about an inadequate water supply were quelled by this building’s delightful revelation!
It was as if he had been granted an unceasing flow of Spirit Spring resources!

Naturally, the Spirit Spring wasn’t limitless and required spirit coins to function. Moreover, its daily production was capped at three tons.
The cost of 3000 spirit coins per ton was negligible. He wasn’t short on spirit coins at the moment.
The only issue was the modest production rate of three tons per day.
But that was no cause for concern. As the building level increased, the output was sure to rise.
He noticed several individuals in the chatroom eager to purchase water, likely because they were transported to an area with scarce water resources and carried limited supplies themselves.
“The Spirit Spring’s capabilities are formidable. I must be cautious not to sell too much, even if I decide to.”
While still in the training phase, there were already many who could afford the Spirit Spring.
He would assess the situation before determining an appropriate amount to sell.
“These two buildings’ functions are overwhelmingly powerful!”
Qiang Nantie had granted Huamo access to the buildings’ functions, which thrilled her. Possessing such a spiritual field and Spirit Spring, it would be a challenge not to grow stronger.
“Our territory is destined for greatness. Would you join me in safeguarding it?”
Qiang Nantie extended his hands, his smile radiating towards Huamo, his eyes alight with earnestness and anticipation.
Despite her shyness, Huamo summoned her courage. She extended her delicate, pale hand and intertwined her fingers with Tung Xinghan’s, murmuring softly, “Mmm!”
Hand in hand, Tung Xinghan led Huamo to the spiritual field, declaring, “Let’s upgrade the spiritual field and the Spirit Spring first, then sow the crops and witness their effects.”
During his school days, he had come across information online and learned that some Lords were fortunate enough to possess a spiritual field. The produce harvested from such fields offered immense benefits to humans, enhancing various human attributes and overall physical health. These crops fetched a hefty price, far beyond the reach of ordinary folks who rarely, if ever, saw them.
The emergence of the spiritual field promised Tung Xinghan a new stream of income. Yet, he had no intention of being a Lord who focused solely on farming. In the past, he might have chosen the path of an adventure-type Lord. Now, he aspired to excel in both domains: cultivating his land as a farming-type Lord while embarking on quests as an adventure-type Lord, striving to become the most formidable of them all.
The farming-type Lord is self-explanatory: one who primarily acquires resources through agriculture, growing a variety of crops and medicinal herbs, engaging in mining, lumber collection, weapon forging, and potion crafting, while also raising fish, shrimp, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more.
Adventure-type Lords, on the other hand, concentrate on territorial development, erecting defensive structures, barracks, and siege engines. Once their power is sufficient, they venture onto the Lord Continent, seeking to gather wild resources and treasures to fuel their expansion and fortification.
However, such Lords often face myriad dangers. Each foray into the unknown is a gamble with their entire domain at stake. Fortune can bring them bountiful rewards, but misfortune can lead to devastating attacks by formidable monsters, obliterating their lands and nullifying their hard work in an instant. Such tales are all too common.
Beyond these two prevailing Lordship models, there exists a third, distinct approach to ruling a domain.
This was the Warlord.
The Warlord model was outlawed by every nation across the vast Whispering Land.
It involved waging war with the sole purpose of seizing others’ territories.
The less ruthless Warlords merely looted the resources and riches of other territories.
But the most brutal among them didn’t stop at plundering; they destroyed the Lord Crystals of their victims, stripping them of the chance to ever become Lords again.
Regardless of the type, Warlords faced unanimous opposition from the nations of the Whispering Land. Anyone caught engaging in such acts would be promptly pursued by the authorities.
Despite the bans, Warlords persisted.
Their very existence instilled a perpetual sense of urgency among all Lords to fortify and develop their domains.
Warlords were the outlaws among Lords.
Wanted on the Lord Continent and throughout the Whispering Land, they would face trial according to their transgressions and the Lordly laws of each nation once apprehended.
Qiang Nantie set about upgrading his structures.
The territory alert read, “Spend 100 spirit coins to elevate the spiritual field to Level 2.”
Another alert chimed in, “Spend 200 spirit coins to upgrade the spiritual field to Level 3.”
And yet another, “Allocate 300 spirit coins to advance the spiritual field to Level 4.”
Building: Spiritual Field
Level: 20
Upgrade Requirements: 30,000 spirit coins and a One-star Earth Element Crystal Core.
Quality: S (0/2)
Defense: 10,000/10,000
Special Attribute One: Accelerate crop maturity and replenish spiritual energy.
Special Attribute Two: Enhance crop attributes.
Description: Fields imbued with spiritual energy not only hasten crop growth but also infuse and amplify their attributes. The spiritual field can evolve further after the addition of two more plots.
The spiritual field gained a new attribute, the specifics of which would become clear once he began his planting.
Ideal for cultivating both crops and a variety of medicinal herbs, possessing seeds of spiritual medicine would be the icing on the cake.
Before, Qiang Nantie was just an average person without any Spiritual medicine seeds. He only had a collection of common agricultural seeds with him.
Once the spiritual field reached Level 20, he expanded it by adding 19 more plots.
He had brought with him an abundance of seeds. With 20 plots in the spiritual field, they had ample space to cultivate a variety of fruits and vegetables.
“Huamo, let’s plant some vegetables together,” Qiang Nantie suggested.
He produced a multitude of seeds that he had thoughtfully prepared and organized.
His selection included corn, cabbage, leafy greens, cucumber, white radish, carrots, peanuts, grapes, peaches, and more.
In this world, it was perfectly normal to grow any fruit from seeds.
He had initially stocked up on a diverse range of seeds out of concern for food scarcity, never anticipating that they would come in handy.
Had he not foreseen the need, he wouldn’t have upgraded the spiritual field to Level 20, taking over such a vast expanse of land.
