Infinite Evolution of My Territory

Chapter 30

C30 – Soldier Ruan Shijia

Territory Alert: “You have spent 300 spirit coins, and the White-robed Ghost Troop has advanced to Level 2.”

Territory Alert: “You have spent 600 spirit coins, elevating the White-robed Ghost Troop to Level 3.”

Territory Alert: “You have spent 900 spirit coins, upgrading the White-robed Ghost Troop to Level 4.”

Elevating the level of a building offers numerous advantages.

The primary benefit is the increase in basic attributes for the summoned soldiers and a higher chance of summoning heroes.

Building: White-robed Ghost Troop

Level: Level 20

Upgrade Requirements: 100,000 spirit coins, 100 three-star wood, and 100 three-star stone

Quality: SSS (0/3)

Quality Upgrade Requirement: Three Grade SS barracks

Defense: 30,000 / 30,000

Attributes: Spend 1000 Soul Coins to summon a White-robed Ghost Troop. Current maximum number of troops (0/200)

Special Attribute: Military Training Experience +10%

Introduction: Under the command of Lee Ling, this army would be unbeatable!

With the White-robed Ghost Troop’s level increase, the maximum number of soldiers that can be summoned has also significantly risen.

Moreover, the White-robed Ghost Troop has gained a special attribute. While it’s unclear whether this boosts the soldiers’ combat experience or something else, it’s undoubtedly beneficial.

However, there aren’t enough Soul Coins to summon such a large number of soldiers.

Following the upgrade, the White-robed Ghost Troop’s building has expanded manifold. It now features a martial arts field at its heart, which can be used for military training.

The martial arts field can accommodate several hundred soldiers, likely tied to the building’s level and troop capacity.

Going forward, the barracks will take up a substantial area of the territory.

For other Lords, this might mean a severe shortage of land. But for this territory, space is not an issue.

The larger the territory, the more buildings a Lord can construct.

If a Lord’s territory is too small, having numerous buildings is pointless. Furthermore, without sufficient land, a Lord’s buildings cannot be upgraded further.

As buildings often expand significantly after upgrades, Lords must ensure they allocate ample space for such expansions. On this front, Qiang Nantie had a considerable lead over his peers.

He entered the barracks and approached the Summoner Altar atop the Roll-calling Platform. A notification from the territory chimed in, “You have spent 1000 Soul Coins to summon a member of the White-robed Ghost Troop.”

A brilliant glow radiated from the Summoner Altar on the White-robed Ghost Troop’s Roll-calling Platform. Suddenly, a figure descended onto the training grounds from the altar—a man clad in a white robe.

With a stern face and a robust build, the man exuded an air of lethal determination. Upon spotting Qiang Nantie, he dropped to one knee and declared, “My name is Ruan Shijia. At your service, my Lord!”

“Rise,” commanded Qiang Nantie.

“Thank you, my Lord,” Ruan Shijia responded, standing erect and ready for orders.

Ruan Shijia’s battle-hardened demeanor thrilled Qiang Nantie, who saw great potential in him as a soldier and felt a surge of confidence for the future of his territory.

He reviewed Ruan Shijia’s attributes:

Soldier: Ruan Shijia

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Race: Human

Lord of the Territory: Qiang Nantie

Quality: SSS (matching the building’s grade)

Loyalty: 100

Unit Type: White-robed Ghost Troop

Level: 0

Soul Coins Needed for Level Up: 40

Charm: 2 (Base 0.2)

Luck: 2 (Base 0.2)

Strength: 7 (Base 0.7)

Physique: 6 (Base 0.6)

Agility: 2 (Base 0.2)

Spirit: 5 (Base 0.5)

Talent: White-robed Ghost Troop (Physique +10%)

Skill: White Robe Ghost Formation (Requires a minimum of 10 Ghost Soldiers to execute, increases Strength by 50%, and Defense by 50%)

Profile: His basic attributes have increased tenfold due to a special evolution. Under the command of a general and within a Battle Formation, he is poised to unleash formidable power.

Qiang Nantie hadn’t anticipated that even the basic attributes of his soldiers would increase tenfold.

Yet, their combat prowess paled in comparison to that of a hero.

With each level gained, the soldiers’ attribute growth varied according to their grade.

From what he understood, most soldiers gained the following attribute points upon leveling up:

Soldiers of Grade F, E, and D would receive two attribute points per level.

Those of Grade C, B, and A would secure three attribute points per level.

And for those above Grade A, each advancement in grade would grant them an extra attribute point.

By this logic, soldiers of Grade SSS should earn six attribute points per level.

Heroes and soldiers accrued the same number of attribute points upon leveling up.

However, heroes boasted additional talents, skills, and special attributes that significantly bolstered their strength beyond that of ordinary soldiers.

The more formidable the hero, the greater the increase in their power.

Take Huamo and Bi Yu, for example. Their basic attributes were similar to Ruan Shijia’s, but their superior grade, talents, skills, and special attributes meant they could effortlessly defeat Zhang San.

Moreover, higher-grade heroes unlocked more special attributes with each level gained.

Leveling up soldiers also required Soul Coins, a currency coveted by all Lords.

Without Soul Coins, no matter how numerous their soldiers, their strength would stagnate.

Thankfully, the leveling system for soldiers was less complex than that for heroes.

This was especially true for soldiers at SSS grade; those below A grade needed only 10 Soul Coins for a level up.

The thought of his soldiers requiring Soul Coins for future strength enhancements was daunting for Qiang Nantie, given the difficulty in acquiring the currency.

Soul Coins diminished by 40 as Ruan Shijia ascended from Level 0 to Level 1.

They dropped by 50, taking him from Level 1 to Level 2.

And with a decrease of 60, he progressed from Level 2 to Level 3.
