Infinite Mana in the Mage Academy

Chapter 18 18 || Hina Left The Academy!

Facing a monstrous-looking old man, Allen couldn't help but be silent. The person must be a Sage-Realm expert, or maybe even stronger...

"Haha!" Laughing loudly, the old man looked at his granddaughter; Hina.

"You have found a good lad. His talent isn't that bad. His mana is stronger than others."

The old without batting an eye on Allen said facing Hina with a gentle smile.

"Waah...Thanks."

Hina said blushingly, her ear turned red and her face twitched. She covered her face with her hair, taking glances at Allen.

On the other hand, Allen was in a daze.

'Sudden entry of grandpa...'

Allen thought his business will long over before he had to face her family, not only was his business finished today, but he was also faced with a monstrous-looking muscular grandpa.

His age may have even crossed a century since a Sage-Realm mage can live five hundred years easily.

While Allen compared the old man with his sense of age, what he saw in his world, it was rare for him to see an old expert even in this world.

"Anyway, I have come to take you home."

"Huh...? This sudd-"

"Yeah, our family has got a new problem and we need... you to solve it..."

As soon as Hina heard that, her face darken. Embarassness left her face and a grim serious expression formed on her face.

"I have already finished all the business here. You just have to follow me."

The old man laughing expression changed into a serious one. He finally looked like a person suited his age.

"Ok."

Hina said lowly, her head hung down, she felt like crying.

"C-Can't I say farewell to my friends...?"

Hina said with a shaking voice, demanding something was hard for her.

"Sorry, but you can't. It is too urgent, we need to go now."

He said. He looked at Allen and pointed at him. "You can say your farewell with this guy... And if you want to escape your fate, this guy has to become strong and help you."

"Huh..."

Hina was stunned, her senior could change her fate.

Allen was hearing the conversation from the side. He could guess their problem. He has read many novels and manga, so from all those troops he could predict it was something to do with political marriage.

That's the only thing that Hina could be helpful anyway. She doesn't have that much power, and her beauty is unparalleled. So, the other side must have requested Hina to solve the problem.

And, from his tone, he could again guess, that he needs to be soo strong enough to solve the dispute between those families and take Hina with him.

Which was something, Allen didn't intend to do. He will just say farewell and some cliche line and get rid of her.

Why would I poke my nose into their business?

Allen thought and looked at Hina with an innocent gaze. He made a face that showed he didn't understand what they were talking about.

Hina walked toward Allen with a longing gaze, her lips trembled and a sad expression formed in her face.

"S-Senior, it seems I have to return home."

"Yeah, I heard."

"So, I couldn't return here in this life."

"What?"

"Yes, and my fate is already sealed. So, I don't think I could accompany you in this life."

"Really? I would do anything to take you!" Allen faked an angry expression that made him look like a crazy lover.

"No. I can't risk your life for my selfishness." Hina looked at the sky and gently replied.

"But-"

"No. Plese live a happy life and... forget about me." Hina said as a drop of tear fell from her eye. Her eyes flickered and her lips shook. She barely endure crying like a baby.

"Ok." Allen gently said. He shook his head, and gently embrace her. "I won't be happy, if I have to... forget about you." 'Of course, I will be happy as hell.'

Allen's words and his inner thought contradict each other. Hina was stun for a moment, but she rest her head at his chest.

The old grandpa looked at them with silence.

Tears overflowed from her eyes like river, she didn't cry loudly but cried silently.

"Y-yeah. I won't... be happy as well." Hina's shaking voice while wiping her tear was too emotional. "But, having to look at you risking your life is even harder."

"Don't worry." Allen smoothly patted her head like a father gently patting his daughter. "One day, I will be strong enough to take you back and carry you here like a princess."

"Really?" Hina raised her head and looked at Allen's eye like a child.

"Yes... So please wait for me."

"Ok." Wiping her tears, Hina showed a mature smile and walked over her grandpa.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes."

He let out a mana from his finger that covered the Hina's body. In the night, her body dazzlingly glowed like an angel.

"I will... wait for you senior for the rest of my life."

With her best smile, tears still coming out from her eyes, Hina disappeared leaving heartbroken Allen alone.

"Yeah... My ass! Whew! I finally got free." Allen stretched his arms looking at the sky. "Why the hell was she so obseed with me anyway? We barely know each other for a week. Anyway, love is mysterious, no need to think about it."

Allen left the area with an emotionless face.

"Finally, I could do more productive things as killing the monster, rasing my tiers and earning money."

Allen pumped his fist and returned to his dorm.

After that, he jumped on his bed and slept like a log.

Next day-

Allen woke and as he opened his eyes, a shocking thing revealed. He was dumbfounded, shocked, stunned, everything.

He blinked his eyes multiple times thinking this is an illusion, but no matter how much he blinked, the thing isn't fake.

'WHAT THE HELL?!'

Allen's silent voice echoed inside his heart as he looked at the girl sleeping very soundly beside him.
