Chapter 31
Chapter 31
As Leo entered the classroom, he was greeted by the familiar voices of his classmates. It was a bright and sunny morning, and the weekend had just passed.
"Good morning, Leo!" called out one of his classmates, a cheerful greeting that was echoed by the others in the room.
Leo smiled in response, pleased to be back in the company of his friends. "Did you have a good weekend?" he asked, making his way to his seat.
Tade, one of Leo's closest friends, was the first to approach him. "Leo, I heard you met the student council president over the weekend!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement.
Illyana, who had come up to Leo with her arms crossed, looked surprised. "Everyone was saying that you were close with Celia Gerdinger of Class 1, and now you've even met with the student council president?" she asked, her tone incredulous.
It was true that Leo and Celia were cousins, but only Karl and Chelsi knew the truth. To the rest of the class, it was a mystery why Leo seemed to be so well-connected.
"Are you interested in becoming the next student council president?" Illyana asked curiously.
Tade was quick to chime in. "Of course! He's the strongest among Lumeln's ranks!" he exclaimed. "Good family background, good skills, good grades, and he's handsome too. Leo, have you been recommended to join the student council?"
Leo was a highly-regarded talent of Lumeln academy.
At first, many people questioned why Leo, who was not a top student, was chosen as the freshmen representative, but now it was different.
He was an unprecedented All-Class, and the professors from all majors covet him.
Leo shook his head, dismissing the suggestion. "I didn't receive any recommendation like that. Even if I did, I'm not interested in the student council."
At his words, Tade and Illyana's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Leo, do you want to join the Summoning Material Research Club with me?" Tade asked eagerly. "You're still weak in summoning skills, aren't you? So, it will definitely help you!"
But Illyana was equally enthusiastic about recruiting Leo to her own club. "Move! Did you forget that Leo is an All-Class major? Leo! Join the magic swordsman club with me! You are absolutely welcome!"
The two classmates were practically beside themselves with excitement, and Leo couldn't help but smile at their enthusiasm.
Despite their different opinions on which club Leo should join, Tade and Illyana had already made their own choices and were eager to get started.
As the two bickered about club activities, Karl sauntered in with a disapproving click of his tongue. "You both are late," he chastised. "Leo has already decided about his club activities."
"What? Where?" Tade and Illyana asked in unison.
"He's going to create a club himself," Karl revealed, eliciting gasps of surprise from the group.
"Creating a club?" Tade exclaimed. "As a freshman?"
"What kind of club are you going to create?" Nella inquired languidly from her seat across the room.
"A Hero Research Club," Leo announced proudly.
"We're already doing enough research in Hero Studies, aren't we?" Illyana grumbled.
"He said he was studying forgotten heroes. For example, Kyle," Karl added, causing Tade and Illyana to look at Leo in confusion.
"Why would you do that?" they asked.
Nella, on the other hand, nodded in understanding. "Even if he's a fictional hero, Kyle was the only All-Class hero, so that's why you are so interested in him."
'I'll have to quickly find the pages of my Hero Record.'
There was no way to prove his existence unless he found his Hero Record.
Suddenly, a male student from Class 8, Elleg Tuna, walked in and approached Tade. "Hey, who's the class rep of Class 5?" he asked urgently.
"We don't have a class representative, but I'm currently filling in that role," Tade replied.
Elleg shook his head. "You havent decided yet,"
Whats the matter?

Tade and Illyana, as well as Chelsi, who was reading a magic book, raised their heads and responded.
"A notice So, who should I give it to? Elleg looked at the three in turn and asked.
The three people's gazes were entangled in the air.
The three started to bicker about who should be the class representative, with Tade insisting, "Of course its me. Until now, it has been me who was assisting Professor Hallind."
Illyana retorted, "What are you talking about? I've assisted Professor Hallind a lot too. And as someone from the prestigious Laden family, shouldn't I be the one to do it?"
Are you discussing family background in front of Llewellyn? Pathetic," Chelsi chimed in. "A class representative should be the most outstanding person in the class, right? Who's the most outstanding in our class?"
While the three continued to argue, Elleg approached Leo and handed him a paper. "Leo Flove. I'll give this to you."
"What is this?" Leo asked.
"It's about today's Hero studies class schedule. After the morning assembly, everyone will gather at the auditorium. Professor Artian decided to conduct a joint class with ten classes this time."
Among the required subjects, Combat Studies, for example, was handled by each homeroom teacher.
The reason was that they had to guide the students in a way that could understand and utilize their own traits.
However, in the case of heroics classes, there are professors who are specialized in it.
The Heroics professor for the first-year students was Professor Artian, who was also the homeroom teacher for Class 8, and was someone who left a strong impression on the first day of school.
"You can give it to the homeroom teacher at the morning assembly today. I'm going."
Elleg left the classroom.
Where, Let me see. Karl took the paper from Leo and exclaimed, "Oh! That's it! This class is to study the Hero Record pages recovered this time."
Nella, who had been sitting quietly, finally spoke up. "What kind of hero is it? Leo, did you hear anything from the student council president yesterday?"
Leo thought for a moment before responding, "I heard that there was a page that was so damaged that it was impossible to open the world of heroes, maybe it's that one."
Karl groaned, "Ugh! The deduction class is the most challenging!"
"I'm the class rep!"
"No, it's me!"
"I can't communicate with you guys! Let's settle it with our skills! Both of you, come at me!"
"Do you think we'll be scared?"
I will show you the results for a month!
The three people who were still arguing about who the class representative was, were flapping their arms.
"If Professor Hallind comes and sees this..." Nella trailed off, looking concerned.
"They're dead," Karl finished with a shake of his head.
It was morning assembly time, and Hallind nodded his head as Leo informed him about the joint class.
"Not only Professor Artian, but also the 1st year homeroom professors are all observing this joint class,"
Without any particular expression, Hallind tossed the papers on the table and said, "Since this is the first joint class, make sure to look good."
"Yes, professor."
"If you show foolish behavior like these kids in front of other classes, you too would end up like this."
The eyes of the students in the class were directed to the three people who were kneeling at their desks and holding up their chairs.
Chelsi, Tade, and Illyana hung their heads in shame.
As the conversation moved on, Karl raised his hand and asked, "Professor! Why havent we decided on a class representative yet?
Even after a month since the start of the department schedule, Class 5 was the only class that had yet to elect a class representative.
Hallind responded, "I expected you guys to pick a class representative yourselves without me intervening. It's inefficient for me to waste time by getting involved."
Other classes had taken the entire combat science class time to elect a class representative. In the case of Class 1, it took twice as long as other classes because there were three students with top grades. Hallind considered it a waste of time and left it to the students' discretion.
However, the class 5 students were waiting for Hallind to bring up the story. "If you want me to decide, I choose one as I please. Leo, Nella," Hallind declared, calling Leo, who was seated in the far back of the class, and Nella, who was in the front.
Leo is the class rep and Nella is the vice rep," Hallind announced.
"Understood," the students responded.
But Illyana interrupted, "Wait a minute! Professor! What about a vote? There's a method like that, isn't there? It's unfair to pick someone like this!"
Tade supported her, "I agree!"
At those words, Hallind reacted indifferently.
Hallind responded with indifference, "Is there anyone in the class more suitable than Leo Flove who also showed great leadership skills in the class?"
The room fell silent. No student in Class 5 could compare to Leo's leadership skills in combat class. "And Nella is the calmest person in our class. So, I think she's suitable as a vice representative who assists the class representative," Hallind continued.
No one could refute his logic. Both Leo and Nella were not greedy for the position of class representative or vice representative. Since it was Professor Hallind who pointed out the two, others had nothing more to say. "Does anyone have any objections?"
"No," the students responded.
"All right. Then everyone get ready for class and move to the auditorium," Hallind instructed.
Excitement filled the air as the first-year students made their way to the auditorium. It was a rare occasion for everyone to gather together, aside from department classes. Amidst the chatter, Leo was approached by several female students.
Hello, Leo?
"Leo! Would you like to have lunch together after the class?
As someone who took all major courses, Leo was acquainted with many of his fellow students. Karl, who stood beside him, couldn't help but tease him about his popularity.
"Wow, Leo! You're quite popular. But I guess that's because you have a good-looking face."
As a school celebrity and a pretty boy, Leo was certainly popular in the academy.
Do you have any friends that you can introduce to me?
"Why are you asking me that when you have a lot of female friends yourself?"
In my case, everyone is merely acquaintances.
Karl put his clenched hands on the back of his head and grunted.
"Karl."
"Huh?"
Karl turned his head to see Chloe, who appeared to be exhausted.
Chloe, you look very tired.
At his question, Chloe glanced at Leo before shaking her head.
"Not really. If you have any leftover fatigue recovery potions, would you sell them all to me?
Karl retrieved a few potions from his subspace and handed them over to Chloe. She opened several bottles and gulped them down, much to the surprise of those around her.
Its the beginning of the semester, arent you pushing yourself too hard?" Leo voiced his concern, but Chloe simply shook her head and walked away.
"I am fine."
Karl commented on her dedication, "Wow, that's tough. Poisonous. It's amazing that she can still get first place on the theory exam with that."
Chloe was currently the top student in the theoretical exam in the magic department, followed by Abad in second place, Chelsi in third, and Leo in fourth.
Suddenly, Chelsi interrupted the conversation, drawing attention. "As Chloe, she can't help but be anxious," Chelsi remarked.
"Huh? Why."
"Karl. I sometimes wonder if you are in the magic department.
Im studying hard enough not to get expelled!
Karl raised his thumb and replied confidently.
" Brother Leo might catch up with the theoretical score as soon as he gets used to the latest magic trend," Chelsi explained, concern evident in her voice.
It was true that Leo was less knowledgeable about the latest magical trends than his peers. However, Lumeln professors believed that no other student possessed Leo's ability when it came to interpreting magic.
"Is the first place in theory really that important?" Karl asked.
"As a wizard of the Tower, she can't help it because it's her pride," Chelsi shrugged, referring to Chloe's status as a member of the Magic Tower.
If the wizards of the prestigious family, who are inherited by blood, tend to focus on "fighting"-oriented magic, the wizards of the tower focus on "exploration and research."
Heroic family wizards, like Chelsi, may be strong in battle, but they don't lead the latest trend in magic.
Conversely, all new discoveries and spells were created in the Magic Tower.
She felt a sense of crisis from Leo in a field that Chloe thought she would never lose.
Leo scratched his cheek and looked at Chloe, who was ahead of him. He understood her drive to excel, but he also sensed her vulnerability.
If you overdo it, you'll get burned,
A Legendary hero who saved the world and the bud that is now growing.
It can't be helped as the starting line is different.
'After I catch up, lets talk.'
Yes, Riss.
Riss stood before Kalrian, the principal of the academy, reporting on the results of his recent dispatch.
Is it true that this hero page responded? Kalrian asked, carefully examining a small piece of the damaged hero record page.
Riss confirmed, Yes.
Kalrian was intrigued. This fragment was so damaged that it was embarrassing to call it a page, and it should not have contained any power. Interesting. This kind of page shouldn't contain any power, but for it to react..."
Has there been any reaction after that? Kalrian asked.
None, Riss replied.
"Hmm... Was it a reaction that happened as you got closer to the hero record? Kalrian mused aloud.
Putting down the page fragment, he thanked Riss for his work, "Anyway, Student Riss. Good job."
Riss gave a respectful bow, Yes.
As he left, Kalrian instructed his secretary, Elena, "Take this to the Great Hall of Beginning."
Elena hesitated for a moment as she looked at the piece of the hero record he had given her, before nodding and saying, "Yes, principal."
Alone in his office, Kalrian stroked his chin, lost in thought. Having conquered the world of countless heroes, he knew more about Hero Records than anyone else.
If you think about it, there are times when a piece like that reacts, he muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief.
If the Hero recorded in the hero record comes near them, they will react."
