Life Of A Nobody - as a Villain

Chapter 384: Battle of Sol -1

"Guide, you need to leave this place. If you get caught, the rebellion will be over."

"How did they find this place? I thought the barriers protected our traces."

"It must be because of these outlanders, one of them must have brought Kurami here."

"I knew we shouldn't have welcomed them in."

"What do you mean, if not for that outlander Kami would've been captured days ago."

"Well,.. Maybe not him, but one of his friends betrayed us. I'm sure, otherwise Kurami will never attack us with his whole army."

"Why didn't our spies in the castle say anything? Did they switch sides or get killed?"

"My son…"

In a matter of mere moments the carnage had covered the whole settlements, and wherever Leon passed with Kami and Vanessa, he would hear whispers like these.

'Did they bring this calamity?' The thought came to his mind, and haunted his righteous soul. If he was really responsible for all this death and destruction, he really wouldn't be able to cope with it.

"Hey, wake up already, your men are dying as we speak, how long are you going to just feel fear?" Vanessa shouted as she shook Kami's shoulder, waking her up from her trance.

Her father, Kurami, has always had a monstrous effect on her body. So much so that no matter how she trained her heart to stand up to him and rebel against him, she could never face him straight up.

The haunting experiences of her childhood never allowed her to move on.

"We can't defeat him. No one can. He's _ he's blessed. It's over." Kami said in a trembling voice, as she watched the poisonous snake flying through the clouds.

The guards of her father who recognized her, ignored everything and started surrounding her. Forcing Leon and Vanessa to rush ahead and protect her.

The pair of hero and heroine really showed their heroic powers as they walked through the monster army like a tsunami.

Leon had wings made out of white light on his back as he started flying amongst the demons and swinging his sword like a lightsaber. His attacks focused more on disabling these demons and taking away their advantage of flight as he cut off their wings.

Vanessa on the other hand was holding a flaming spear in her hands, slicing up demons like crazy. Her spear cutting their bodies like hot knife slicing butter.

While the duo of 'heroes' were held back by the army of flying demons, Kurami looked at his daughter, still shocked and hiding in fear behind a wall, and ordered his mount to rush down.

The poisonous snake gave a loud roar that split open the nearby clouds, before it flew down like a loose arrow splitting the winds.

"Kill her." Kurami said with no hesitation, as he watched the serpent open his mouth and shoot a mass of poisonous gas straight towards her.

But before the poison could reach Kami, a silvery ball-like barrier lit up around her protecting her.

"Sorry, I was late."

The voice came through the smoking poison, until Kami saw a large silhouette coming towards her. Only to be surprised soon after seeing, the blurry shadow was actually the cute loli girl outlander she saved.

"Killing your daughter, now that's not nice." Seraphina said as she waved her hand, shooting all the poison straight back to the snake.

Kurami waved his hand, dispersing everything, and only to see 3 new outlanders standing in front of his daughters.

Leon, who was restricted and worried about Kami's safety, gave a smile as he watched his friends joining this battle.

Heathe looked at Seraphina panting heavily while healing Kami, and turned to stare at the snake in anger. Somehow the smart draconian had developed a little liking to this cute and innocent loli girl.

While Zirrix, ever the battle hungry challenger, set his sights on the biggest boss, demon Lord Kurami himself.

"I'll take the cocky king, you handle the worm." Zirrix said and Heathe happily obliged.

Zirrix moved his staff in a pattern until it lit up in runes, before throwing it directly at his target.

Kurami saw the flying staff coming straight at him, and without taking it to heart, just waved his hand to throw it off track.

Only to be surprised as the staff gained weight so high that his unserious strike couldn't even shake it a little bit.

The blow directly landed on his chest, causing him to fall down his 'high horse'.

The snake roared in anger, only to be met with a shock as it felt a tyrannical aura press down upon it.

Heath turned on his skill of dragon's might and rushed to face this lowly serpent head on. The shadow of a sea blue dragon floated behind Heath as he walked on air.

Heath raised his hand and punched out. Causing the dragon mirage behind him to follow the same movement. The hit landed directly on the serpent's head, breaking half of its teeth down.

The poisonous serpent couldn't even raise its head to fight against a superior race, as it felt the suppression effect on his bloodline.

But after hearing Kurami's order that asked him to charge ahead, it still stoned its resolve and roared angrily, spewing a cannon of poison through its mouth.

"Haven't you heard, a snake's poison can't hurt the dragon, it can only piss him off." Heath taunted the serpent as he ignored the treacherous poison and raised his claws to grab the snake's wings, before digging his nails and ripping it apart.

Without wings the serpent fell down heavily with a thud, killing many flying demons under his heavy weight.

The dragon shadow opened its mouth wide and bit off the serpent's body. Shaking its head wildly, until black blood started raining down the ground. Forming pits of poison that could kill anyone on touch.

Heath raised his hands as the dragon behind him roared, its voice gathering the clouds above their head and forming lightning in the fog show.

Heath gave his commands as two illusory arms grabbed the snake's mouth wide open towards the sky. As blue lightning struck down on the dragon's call and charred the open mouth.

The poisonous bladder exploded by the strike and the serpent started squirming on the ground, just like a worm.

"That's where you belong." Heath said, before raising his hand and stomping hard, causing the snake's head to explode in white and red pieces under the dragon's feet.

As the job was done, Heath fell down to the ground, overexerted and panting heavily, before Seraphina placed her hand on his shoulder and passed her mana into his body. "You shouldn't use skills with such strong drawbacks on enemies you can handle without them too." She said with a little concerned tone, as she had never seen him use this skill before. Not even against Rio at the academy.

"It's not as serious as it looks, I just learned it some time ago, so my control is low." Heath explained the truth with a smile, before drinking a potion and rushing for battle once again.

On the other hand, while he was fighting against the poisonous snake, Zirrix was up against Kurami.

Kurami was the type of boss who perfectly defined the characteristics of 'practitioner of thousand, yet master of none.'

The man could use all kinds of magic, spells and weird techniques, making him an annoying and unpredictable fellow to fight against.

But sadly, he was up against a similarly annoying fellow.

Zirrix, the guy chosen by Sun Wukong had blessings to offset every negative effect and way to get out of every trap. Plus his magical staff blessed with monkey King's magic was able to change its size and weight according to his wishes. Making it also very hard to guard against.

Like how when Zirrix took out a fake staff and threw it at him and when Kurami tried to block the bigger staff, a small toothpick penetrated his armor and formed a large hole in his guts as it suddenly enlarged and passed through.

And when Heath finally killed the serpent, causing Kurami to suffer a little backlash due to their connection, Zirrix just grabbed his head and pushed his toothpick staff down his throat, before raising his arm and backing off.

Kurami coughed a few times violently and tried to vomit, but before he could be successful, Zirrix just snapped his fingers, causing his whole body to explode in pieces, as the enlarged staff grew out from inside him.

"Easy peasy." Zirrix said as he cleaned his staff from the bloody mess and turned around, hoping to see the shocked faces of everyone about how he killed the final boss all alone.

But even with his thick skin, he couldn't handle the frozen faces and wide eyes, so he just laughed and teased, "Hahaha it wasn't that hard guys, you don't have to be so surprised, I am a ranker after ..."

"Look out, you idiot monkey."

But before he could finish his words he saw Heath running towards him while shouting something, which was hard to hear on this battle ground.

But he soon got his answer, as he turned his head, only to see Kurami alive again, shadow over his body and slash a sword right at his head.

Zirrix dodged and jumped back on instinct, only to be shocked yet again, as the sword grew in size and caught up with movement and slicing his chest up. Leaving a large open cut that started bleeding like crazy. And if that wasn't all, the cut that should've healed almost instantly after the potion and his blessings, started heating up and burning his skin. Nullifying every recovery effect.

"What the fuck?" The words escaped the mouths of Zirrix and Vanessa both who saw the demon use their skills.

Note - Seraphina isn't exactly a Loli loli, she got height 4.5 feet. While others are all at 5-6 . So to then she is a shortstuff. Well maybe she is still growing I guess. (Growing somewhere 🙂)
