Mind Demon's Path of Domination

Chapter 191: Lord and the Demon

With the hamster by my side, I will die, Mark mused. Then, I just have to use an alternative way of hiding from the World Will instead of my Dungeon Heart Seed ability.

Without a way to go around the problem of the World Will sensing him, he would be defeated and killed even if he were as strong as the enemy.

"Demon, I can feel my whole body trembling in unbidden rage. Pure, bitter, dark hatred." The Lord of the Savage gritted his teeth and walked towards Mark. "Now, I am happy you are sentient. And I hope you taste the torture I give you with all your heart."

Mark sneered, his golden eyes shimmering with ruthlessness. "You are also just a Tier 2 existence, a mere Golden Savage. But it's funny—your arrogance truly has no bounds."

But he is no mere Golden Savage, though they are a threat on their own.

The man stopped a meter away from Mark and touched the slit on his forehead. His sun-lit blonde hair looked akin to a blazing fire for only a second before he vanished, Mark felt his heart tighten but immediately, his Soul Sense noticed the man's new location.

He had appeared on the Minotaur's giant shoulder.

Aura Teleportation!

The Minotaur turned halfway but right before it could complete its action, a barbaric long sword appeared in the man's grip and he slashed. Crimson droplets of blood splashed everywhere as half of the Minotaur's head was sliced off clean.

"A mere Golden Savage?" The Savage Lord jumped off the standing corpse, not a drop of blood on his body. "A mere Middle Demon has no right to look down on a Gold Lord of my race. But I am no blind, indeed, to have killed so many of my kin so quickly—you are not ordinary either."

Mark stared as the Minotaur fell limply on the ground—dead.

If the enemy had moved towards me instead of the Minotaur, could I have survived that? Mark felt an irritant madness in his heart, but he pushed it down to create an insane calm instead. The Minotaur was just a tool, it died because it let itself be marked by this man's Aura used for teleportation, I won't let myself be marked.

But still, that's three Savage Magic that the man had used already.

Mark frowned inwardly as their gazes—one filled with hate and the other utter calm—burned against each other. He still couldn't gauge the enemy's stats, it was as if there was a smoke screen that hid it from him.

How does he have three Savage Magic when two was the limit?

He just knew the enemy was formidable. His gut told him so.

"It's the Will of the Savage World," Reol'ran said, "It's helping him hide from your Violet Mirror, so you can't sense him."

Fine.

This guy had Wood Meld, Aura Teleportation, and now Sword Creation. That was already more powers than a Golden Savage was supposed to have.

How many more did he have?

Suddenly, the man shook his sword and removed the blood from it, now calm. Mark clicked his tongue inwardly, the vengeful enemy would have been easier.

"Demon, hatred is a thing that truly muddles judgment, won't you say?" The weird savage looked at Mark, face still tear-stained but now calm. "According to logic, now that I know you need that hamster alive to survive, you have no escape from here. I can kill it even if you might escape, and if it dies—so will you. I know that, you should know that as well. But why aren't you panicked?"

Mark cringed inwardly.

I should have acted a bit more panicky.

The savage stretched its neck, bones cracking. "So, what else are you going to do? I will wait for you to do whatever you want, and then I will beat you fair and square. I do not fear your tricks. Do it, I'll show you the difference between me and you."

Mark smiled, still feeling that ache in his jaw.

I can kinda guess why this guy is so weird, so indeed…

"What's your name?" he asked.

The Lord of the Savage sneered, his form trembling with disgust. "My name is not for the evil to use. You do not deserve to know it, scum." He grew calm again. "Call me the Lord of all Savages. I will wait till I count five fingers, if you don't move till then, I will begin—and then, you will get no chance to move."

Mark snapped his fingers and a dark-skinned demon appeared behind him, its towering form casting a shadow over both of them. It was the Boss Demon from the Hunter World—and also, a Dungeon Demon.

The Lord squinted his eyes, contempt and hatred reappearing before he calmed again.

"Create a dungeon around this area," Mark said calmly and squatted down, touching the ground. The enemy didn't move as if unconcerned.

Alchemic Shapeshifting.

The ground around them thrummed for a second before it began to rise, walls of earth surrounded them; a dome hid them from the very sun itself. In the darkness of the new gigantic dome's insides, Mark's golden eyes shimmered with ruthless contemplation.

The Boss indifferently touched the ground and an invisible aura began to wrap around the dome. It was like crackling thunder as it wrapped around the walls, making it firmer.

Tier 2 Pinnacle Demonic Trick—Dungeon Creation.

"A Dungeon demon servant, you are indeed no ordinary demon. Tell me, how did you kill so many of my kin at once?" He gripped the longsword. "Even I can't do that."

Now, they were in a wide Dungeon, and without killing the Boss Demon or taking its core, not even Mark could leave this place. Of course, the Boss was Mark's servant, and the Dungeon was also attached to Mark himself.

After all, the Boss had a Dungeon Heart Seed.

Thus, the core of this Dungeon and all Dungeon Heart Seeds were Mark's fleshly heart.

The Boss moved to the side and simply sat down as Mark gave it its command. Then, Mark chuckled.

"Demon, why do you laugh?"

"You truly are arrogant, Savage Lord. I thought I was a bit arrogant myself but you are even more so."

Mark cracked his knuckles. Nudging the hamster on his head gently, Mark threw it into his World Space, then, he stretched himself.

We are both Tier 2, indeed, but his attacks have the power of Tier 3 Low-level due to his Mask of the Savage Trait.

"Arrogant?" The Boss laughed. "You haven't seen arrogance, nor pain."

Are you a fool or are you just traumatized after seeing me kill so many? Or did you think I have to come close to attack you?

Mark's golden eyes shimmered.

Parasitic Dream Shock.

A glassy dome glinted around the Lord and he frowned.

Mark's face changed.

Tier 3 Low—Glass Dome.

Glass Dome, too?!

HAHAHAHA!

"Oh, Demon! What a demonic way to attack. Just what I expected from you."

The sword in his hands abruptly transformed into a bow and Mark's hair stood on its ends.

Swish!

"You dodged it, but did you think it was meant to kill you?"

The Boss appeared behind Mark, his aura glinting at the tip of the arrow. Mark flew and slammed into the top of the dome, looking down with goosebumps all over him.

Aura Teleportation!

"Finally afraid?" The Lord opened his mouth, full of fang-like teeth.

His third eye opened.

He vanished.

Mark's pupil moved from one place to the other, his forehead sweated. What's going on? Where is he? How many abilities does he have? Sword Creation and Bow creation, too?

"Where are you looking?"

Mark felt a hand grasp his wings.

Tear.

"Argh!!"

"So you do feel pain."

Mark's body slammed into the ground, one of his wings torn. He looked up, eyes wide.

Concealment Savage Magic—Earth Meld.

He used Earth Meld, Eye of Heaven, and Aura Teleportation at the same time. Where his Eye of Heaven was, there would also be his aura. He vanished and became Earth for a second, made the Eye of Heaven appear behind Mark, and teleported there.

He used them all at once and teleported behind me…

Mark coughed out a mouthful of blood.

An arrow pierced into his left shoulder.

The Lord appeared, looking down at him with three glowing yellow eyes. Mark jumped, his hand aiming for the enemy's face but he could only touch the man's leg as he blocked it with his calf.

Alchemic Shapeshifting.

Before the entire body could be turned to nothing, he had already teleported to another side. The Lord chuckled, a joyous expression on his face. Looking at the stump where his legs should have been, he seemed to have no care at all.

"So you used that ability to turn my kin into clothes. I now understand. An ability that can change anything to anything else?" He grinned. "So long as they are alive, I can heal the rest one way or the other."

Healing Savage Magic—Blood Healing.

A new leg appeared on his stump and he took a deep breath. Mark was also on his legs, standing against his enemy with a grim expression. He tore off the arrow and threw it away, his heartbeat echoed across the dome.

"You have all the Savage Magic that a Savage can have," he said coldly.

"Took you long enough to realize," the Lord sneered.

Mark's wings vanished, without being able to fly with one wing, it was just a hindrance. But just as he did so, he smirked and clapped his hand.

The Lord frowned, a Glass Dome erected around him out of instinct. No ability of the enemy could break through this layer of defense after all.

"So, Dream Wings could also be used like this!" he said as a new pair of wings appeared behind him. Turning Dream Wings off and on even while having broken wings made them reappear healthy!!

The Lord felt his hair rise. He is enjoying being in a pinch, earlier, he wasn't afraid—he was excited.

HAHAHAH!

HAHAHA!

For some reason, both of them laughed, one tinged with negative feelings while the other with sheer enjoyment.

"Lord of the Savages, I'll kill you!"

A vein popped on the man's forehead.
