"Don't worry, I don't mind," Daniel said nonchalantly. "Mr. Guo can just call me 'boss' or whatever he prefers."

Cao Cao nodded and thanked Daniel for his magnanimity. He remembered that what Guo Jia did might have caused misunderstandings between superiors and subordinates in his era if someone were to call their subordinate 'lord' in front of them. It might make narrow-minded people think they were plotting to rebel or replace the superior.

Cao Cao then looked at Guan Yu, who was stoically standing beside Daniel.

"Lord Guan," Cao Cao greeted, nodding at Guan Yu.

"Long time no see, Grand Chancellor Cao," Guan Yu returned the gesture with a nod.
