*Fucked the Desert Rose Dryad – One Forest Mark!*
If Gabby is right, the ‘Dryad’ part is redundant with my defeating Mother Heather, and that mark is for the Cactus Treefolk rung on Isabella’s evolutionary path.
*Marks Reconfigured!*
*Desert Rose Dryad Lover – Two Forest Marks!*
I decide to take both my Cactus and Dryad marks from the same source as far as keeping track of my totals goes.

“I’m a… Dust Bunny?” Moka says, awestruck while staring at herself in the water Mirror I conjure with my magic. She’s neither upset nor excited by the change—I’d say she’s more overwhelmed than anything. “That’s stupidly rare! We only have a few back home. I never thought I’d be one of them.”
“‘Rare’ or not, it’s only Average,” Gabby remarks. Comparable to a Mole-man in strength. That’s nothing to scoff at, though, and nobody is disparaging. It’s a two-rank upgrade from the Inferior rank, after all.
“I can manipulate the earth, now. The Dust Bunnies of the Desert Warren mostly use their abilities to stabilize tunnels in the shifting sands or to dig through solid rock,” she explains.
Ooo, I bet that’ll speed excavation projects along. Not exactly a frontline fighter, but useful, and every bit helps the war effort.
Moka can’t look away from her afro and powderpuff tail. As she moves to examine herself, they leave a trail of dust in their wake like ultrafine dandruff.
“F-f-f-fluffy!” Suka stammers, enamored by the change to her diminutive girlfriend’s fur and hair. The Flamestalker gets down low and shoves her face in Moka’s ass, shaking her head to send up a plume of dust from bunny’s cocoa powderpuff tail… that ignites the moment it touches Suka’s fiery hair! The cloud combusts in a bright *whomp* of flame.
The small explosion turns heads all around us, but the onlookers quickly return to their lewd acts when they see the danger has passed.
“What the fuck was that?” I ask, my relief that no one was hurt palpable.
“D-d-d-dust explosion!?!” Gabby gasps, intuitively grasping the source of the conflagration. “When the fuel-to-air ratio is just right, the results can be…”
“Impressive,” I assess, already imagining applications.
“The Echidna catalyst—Alex, you need to fuck all of our allies here before the night is through!” Gabby insists, jabbing me in the gut with a wicked fingernail.
“Twist my arm… or four,” I say, shrugging. It’s not like I didn’t intend to do that.
The Goblin girl nods in satisfaction once I agree. “Even if they don’t evolve tonight, having interacted with you may help them break through before the war officially starts.”
Seems like I’ve got a long night ahead of me.
I start with Jonny. Somehow, the young man survived Dura’s snu-snu, and I find him lying dazed on the grass with his wilted wang drenched in Ogress pleasure that puddles around his waist. Brenda tends to the overwhelmed boy, nuzzling his cheek, feeding him grapes, and stroking his muscles to promote recovery. Mulu does the same from his other side, making a cute guy sandwich with sexy lady bread. Lucinia and Bonny cuddle, kiss, and coo beside them with Gale nibbling on the mouse girl’s enormous ears. It’s so sweet.
Megan took her leave to repay Spindle for saving her life earlier today, leaving Gale in our capable hands.
A quick conversation with the group tells me a few things. Firstly, Jonny lays a question on me that I find a little surprising.
“Alex, um, this is kind of awkward, but can I have Lucinia? Like, ‘officially?’ I know it’s a lot to ask—she’s kindhearted, generous, and a stunning beauty—but I think I’m falling for her… Please?”
“Oh, my!” the Siren exclaims at his propositioning, lifting a wing to hide her flushed features.
While I gave Jonny permission and even encouraged him to build a harem, I didn’t expect him to choose Lucinia. Her personality is fine, but I’d have thought the bird butt and cloaca would put off most humans. Wait, nevermind. Jonny is the legendary titty connoisseur, who’d fuck a rock if it had a nice rack. To each their own.
“I didn’t consider her part of my main harem, no offense, so it’s fine. She’s all yours, buddy.”
The man and bird girl share a slow, intimate kiss that lasts a few minutes before they break it off.
“And Mulu. I want her too. I know she’s pregnant with Doug’s kid, but I talked with him. He’s not interested in her, just the baby once she gives birth.”
Since Mulu basically raped the defenseless DILF, I’m not surprised, just thankful there isn’t too much bad blood there. I still think Douglas is a saint for taking care of all the kids he was forced to father.
The Pitcher Treefolk in question blushes dark green and another row of flowers sprouts in her hair. I already asked Jonny’s opinion of Mulu, but I think he’s the only guy who could turn a pernicious Pitcher into a Dryad.
“You two have my blessing as well.”
He gives me a grateful hug, smearing Dura’s fluids all over my thighs. Glad we have that settled.
Further conversation reveals that Bonny wants her and Jonny’s baby, but there’s an obvious complication. While bunnies can be a little cavalier about who they have sex with, mice are one of—if not the—smallest adult monster. Getting Bonny pregnant with a Harpy egg is risky enough (it’s more streamlined coming out compared to an infant with four limbs and a head to get tangled and caught on things), but there’s just no way her tiny body is birthing a full term human baby.
C-section is a possibility, but the last few months of her pregnancy would still be hellish with the fetus crushing her internal organs. Most likely, Bonny won’t survive the nine months or will give birth very prematurely—endangering the baby’s life.
Fortunately, I have magical solutions. If Jonny impregnates me, I’ll be able to use my Maternal Inheritance ability to affect things. Since it’s my first time using it (I stupidly forgot to check my menus after Isabella impregnated me), this should be interesting. Let’s see what kind of options I have…
Oh! Oh… wow. I mean, holy fucking God Beast, but damn.
Okay, so, the first piece of good news is that—weirdly enough—the Inheritance ability works retroactively. It doesn’t matter that I waited this long to start using it! All the monsters I’ve given my Partner Tracker mark are connected to me, allowing me to activate my Maternal (if I’m the biological mother) or Paternal Inheritance remotely as long as it’s done prior to birth.
The second good thing is that there’s an ability that obviously addresses Bonny’s concern, called Maternal Customization. It’s right under Maternal Inheritance on the Breeder menu. I bet I can use it to manipulate the child’s size and other characteristics to be less hostile to the mouse girl’s body. Hurray!
Thirdly, when I select a Maternal option for Inheritance, it asks whether I’m modifying the spawn or surrogate. The most obvious application is giving Maternal Fetus Protection to my surrogates, which will be a huge weight off my shoulders. Given my girls’ brushes with death today, we’re lucky nobody has miscarried yet. Going forward, this is an essential pick.
Fourthly, Inheritance allows me to transfer any ability I’ve gained to my spawn. Well, almost any. They need to be 'first stage' abilities. So I couldn't make mice with Ogre Strength, but I could do Doggins with Slime cores, or Mermaids with wings. Still, the possibilities seem endless. Wait, I can’t be the first Echidna, so where are all the mutants? I guess they wouldn’t be around forever if their special traits aren’t inheritable, and they didn’t achieve a Longevity ability in their lifetime. Also, my entire Region is a relatively small area. That’ll have to be a good enough explanation for now.
Lastly, my Breeder menu has gotten weird. Freaky, even. Some of these new options I unlocked today are pretty far out there, even for me. I’ll take a more detailed look later because I need a minute to process this shit.
I explain the gist of things (except my weird Breeder options, of course) to Bonny and Jonny, who come to an agreement with me. Bonny feels bad about making me waste a mark on a suboptimal ability, but I convince her I’ll come out ahead in terms of marks once I implant Jonny’s spawn in her tummy.
Lucinia, on the other hand, prefers she and Jonny try for a child on their own, and whatever happens, happens. Far be it from me to butt in on their relationship.
As for Brenda… I’ll circle back around to her. There’s someone else I need to speak with first.
By this time, Jonny is standing tall, if you catch my drift.
