Chapter 254: Derik's master
Chapter 254: Derik's master
Derik, Kaido, and Lucien followed Belize and the elders to the lower part of the castle. When they were led to the lower parts, Derik and Lucien were shocked since they didn't pick up anything special about the lower parts when they barged into this castle! They could not remember feeling anything out of the ordinary when the came here. And just behind the castle, a large portion of land, these people kept walking forwards patiently until they began sinking into the smooth sand and their figure was completely gone.
"Wow" Kaido muttered in shock and hastened his pace to keep up with Derik and Lucien.
Soon three of them felt their feet getting slowly pulled into the sand until they were dragged to the bottom!
Bam!
Three of them landed in what seemed like a cave with colorful crystals everywhere. The mana density in this place was extremely high and could be considered a perfect cultivation chamber, far beyond even what emperors in the central continent used. To think they will find a place with such rich resources, Derik, Lucien and Kaido understood why the young shadow dragon was kept here. Only a place like this can preserve the body and mind, slowing down the effects of the damages done to his soul but for how long?
The youth was placed on a large purple glass platform with his eyes sealed tight. He looked lifeless and unless someone paid serious attention to him, they would not be able to detect the last strand of his soul struggling to remain.
"He is fighting, even in death" Derik said with a heavy voice.
He respects people like this and sincerely wishes he could save someone like this. He hated the fact that this person would have no chance of reincarnation especially since it is his soul that is destroyed. Trying to consume a strand of his soul and look for another host to put him in is no different from taking just a single trait from thousands of personalities in a person and claiming the real person has been revived.
Bringing him back to life is impossible!
Injuries dealt with the soul are severe and most times irreversible unless dealt with immediately!

"He fought well... And my clan will never forget him" Belize said and the rest nodded in agreement.
Originally Derik just wanted to wipe out the dragon race to improve his power but now, he found a true purpose for wiping them out!
These people had to atone for their sins!
He wasted no time and placed his hand on the youth's head and shut his eyes tight. Searching for a single soul amongst millions of souls can be tiring and considering all the tiring stuff Derik has done so far, it can be considered a miracle he can still move at this point.
After a few minutes, his aura exploded as a darkish green soul emerged, appearing behind him. The death aura lingering around him faded before the body rushed into the new body, quickly taking the place of ownership!
Seeing this Derik slowly walked away with beads of sweat on his face as he slowly fell on one knee and bowed slightly.
"MASTER..." He said in a voice filled with mixed emotions, stunning everyone except for Kaido.
Which being is worthy enough to gain Derik's respect up to the point he is calling the person master?
The shadow dragon's facial features changed to match that of Demos and when his eyes yanked open, it was filled with an intense darkish purple aura. Demos did not talk or move, he just laid there and drew the power of the cave towards himself, using it to adjust the damage done to the body and allow his soul to fuse perfectly.
His black hair kept growing until it reached waist-length, with purple stripes appearing all over it. With this dealt with, Demos sat up and gazed at his new body, black tattoos formed all over his body and a smile bloomed on his face.
"To think it took you a thousand years to bring me back" Demos chuckled as he slide down the purple platform and walked towards Derik.
He grabbed the death God kneeling and pulled him up to his feet, before hugging him.
"A death God does not bend a knew for anyone" He said as he tightened his grip on Derik.
"Ha! It is only me paying respect to the original death God" Derik said as he hugged Demos back.
"You far surpassed me, kid... You have no reasons to pay any respect" Demos rejected Derik's words and Derik chose not to argue any further.
Watching Demos from the side, Lucien couldn't help but shiver. Derik's aura is wild and domineering, it shows the nature of the user and why Derik can be considered one of the strongest beings in the world. But Demos was quite different, his aura could not be felt easily like Derik's, it was just as calm as the night but left a taste of impending doom in the mouth of whoever felt it. It made people around him relaxed but on their toes as well.
While it can be said that Derik is stronger than Demos, Demos is more terrifying than him! That explains why this man has the right to be called master by Derik.
"I guess the gang is back together" Kaido said as he walked forward to meet the two princes of darkness.
He didn't seem scared of them or anxious when meeting any of them, making Lucien and the other shadow dragons, inwardly commend his strength and bravery!
Even someone like Belize, a man with the demigod cultivation base will not dare approach Demos so recklessly.
"You are right... Now we are all together... Let's go for a walk" Derik said with a sinister smile on his face, making Lucien freeze.
A walk?
They call their plan to murder thousands a walk?
How did he get entangled with so many bad friends?
"I will tell you what's going on while we move..." Derik said to Demos and Kaido.
"Lucien, Belize... Get your forces ready and come assist us when you are ready... For now, three of us will just go have a chat with them while we wait for you" Derik said
