Chapter 238 238. Few Hours Untill The Wedding Begins.
Dahlia tightened the grip on her glowing sword before flying to the side to avoid the huge Orca jaws trying to grab her.
Then, in a blink of an eye, Dahlia launched a series of slashes on the huge creature with freshly added scars now present on the creatures body in addition to the old scars it add.
Although, those scars were made in this current battle as well by none other than Dahlia herself.
The large killer whale cried in agony and launched itself once again towards Dahlia.
Meanwhile, while Dahlia's battle continued to persist, there was another battle of equal ferocity just a few meters away from Dahlia.
In here, Victoria could be seen hovering in the air and battling against a huge Kraken. She held a huge glowing bow as well with a lot of arrows still left in its quiver.
She pulled out an arrow and aligned it with the bow string before aiming at the huge Kraken underneath.
The single arrow suddenly turned into hundreds of arrows aiming straight at the huge squid but Victoria's attack was barely able to get the job done.
Regardless of this, she wasn't going to give up so easily. Victoria pulled out another arrow and aimed it straight to the Kraken's head. The arrows turned into hundreds of arrows just like before.
However, the arrows weren't the only ones landing on the huge Kraken, innumerable crimson flame arrows shot from the sky and aimed only at the Kraken.

The loud shrieking of the Kraken threatened to pop the ears of anyone nearby.
The sky also slowly began to turn crimson and more arrows descended from the sky, aiming only at the Kraken, the killer whale and the wholphin.
The attack didn't touch a single merman in the sea and the sea men rejoiced and yelled out in cheers and gratitude to be siding with such a formidable being and not the other way around.
But that wasn't all, more destructive flame coated arrows continued to rain down from the sky and within the next ten seconds, all the demonic sea creature were Impaled and burnt to a crisp.
"Long live the king!!!!"
The merman yelled out in tandem as they gazed upon Kevin who had glowing red eyes, and was hovering in the sky and glaring at the deceased creatures..
The cheers didn't end there.
"Long live the king!!!"
"Long live the king!!!"
With a smile on their faces, Victoria and Dahlia flew straight up to meet Kevin.
"Daddy!!!!!"
Dahlia was the first to get pretty close to Kevin and she couldn't contain her excitement as her arms instinctively hugged Kevin upon impact while her lips safely landed on his.
Her tongue desperately sought every nook and cranny of his mouth, not wanting to part from his mouth either.
But alas, every good things must come to an end and their lips parted but this only meant a more intense kissing session will be anticipated till tonight.
Dahlia let go of her arms around Kevin, giving Victoria the space she needed to welcome Kevin back as well.
"Does this mean you've returned??" Victoria asked with a curious and concerned look on her face.
She wouldn't be surprised if Kevin's presence here was to inform them of his desire to postpone the wedding and that was something the women do not want to see become a reality.
"Yes," Kevin replied while wrapping his arm around her waist to pull her closer to him.
"You promise not to miss the wedding tonight??"
"I promise,"
Hearing Kevin's words, a smile bloomed on Victoria's face and she could finally relax a bit.
She rested her head on Kevin's chest and hugged him tightly, almost as though she didn't want him to leave again.
Well, if he did decide to leave, she'll make sure to follow him this time around.
After all, she's strong enough to protect herself.
She would have definitely defeated the Kraken if Kevin hadn't come to intervene. The same could be said about Dahlia as well.
Both were equally strong to face against their opponents on their own.
But for now they won't lament about Kevin stealing all the spotlight. They would rather spend more time with him now after not being with him for over a month.
However, while Victoria had her arms completely entangled around Kevin's waist. The Mermen King flew to where they were before clearing his throat to draw their attention.
"Forgive me my Lord but I only wish to thank you for saving my people once again,"
"It's nothing but as promised, you mustn't miss my wedding,"
"Yes, your Majesty. I promise to come along with my family,"
"Excellent. I'll be expecting you,"
Kevin waved his hand and another inter-dimensional portal opened in front of him.
Dahlia was the first to enter but when Victoria noticed Kevin had no intention of coming along with them, she turned around with a concerned look on her face.
"You're not coming??"
"I have someone I wanna see before the party begins,"
Victoria nodded in understanding. "Don't be late," She added with a smile before vanishing into the portal.
Kevin turned around and a separate portal opened up before him.
With a smile on his face, he entered the second portal but upon entering this new portal, Kevin's eyes widened in shock by the mountain of demonic creatures corpses laid in front of him.
The metallic smell of iron lingered in the air and a pool of blood coated his shoe in red.
But when Kevin turned around, he noticed there wasn't only one mountain of corpses but hundreds.
'Amazing,' Kevin exclaimed internally in awe.
This was the level of destruction a beauty of Angelica's caliber could enact.
It showed the level of strength she had after feeling lonely for weeks without the presence of her darling nearby.
