Chapter 31: My Parents’ Game of Tag
Chapter 31: My Parents' Game of Tag
Aria, Sauvell’s partner comes with a trolly of tea and snacks.
Aria: “My dear, please have some tea.”
Sauvell: “…………Why Aria is the one? What happens with Lawrence?”
Aria: “I’m the one who is being unreasonable. I said I want to personally serve you the tea.”
The lady who panickily saying her excuse with a smile is Sauvel’s lover, Aria. Even though they have not married yet, she has already been considered as his wife in this estate. She is 24 years old, one year younger than Sauvell. She has a beautiful long black hair which is tied up to the back.
Her eye pupils carry a hint of distress that is obvious to be seen, but she still wears a happy smile. With this kind of appearance, some men can be swayed.
Their daughter's name is Lafillia. She has the same hair as Sauvell's father, a straight chestnut hair. Although her eyes resemble her mother, her face slightly bears some resemblance to Sauvell. Her face is not stern but has a good proportion and facial features. It can be guaranteed that she will be a beauty in the future.
Aria was a pretty girl who attracted customers to a restaurant. It seems that Sauvell and another knight often came to that place to eat. Then they got to know each other and Sauvell fell in love with Aria.
When they thought that Agriel might do something bad to them, the knights help to protect Aria and Lafillia, even went as far as to hide them because that restaurant was the knights’ favorite place.
Sauvell: “You are not a servant. If you do this, then the servants would lose their job, wouldn’t they?”
Aria: “………I’m sorry.”

As he sees that Aria becomes depressed because of his lecture, Sauvell lets out a sigh. Because she was used to working as a helper in a restaurant, after she came to the estate, she continues to cook meals or even help to tend the garden in the estate. Her attitude makes the servants of the house fluster.
Sauvell: “Well, fine. Can you serve the tea?”
Aria: “Yes. Of course,………Uhm, elder brother-in-law.”
When Aria calls for him, Rovel wears an indifferent expression on his face and shifts his gaze at Aria. Aria blushes the moment their gaze meets.
Aria: “P,ple-please………have some tea.”
Rovel: “Ah, thanks.”
Aria keeps staring at Rovel’s indifferent face. Sauvell who realizes it starts to cough.
Sauvell: “Thanks for the tea. I still have work to do, so can you leave?”
Aria: “A, yes. I understand. “
Looking at Aria who seems reluctant to leave, Sauvell sighs once again.
Rovel: “…………Did you tell ‘that’ about me?”
Rovell: “I did tell her that you are a married man. Moreover, a devoted husband too. …………However, during the family introduction, she did not believe me because you did not bring your wife.”
With this both Sauvell and Rovel sigh at the same time.
Rovel: “I will bring only Ori to attend the ceremony.”
Sauvell: “Really!?”
Sauvell must haven been worried about his wife-to-be's attitude. It’s not that he does not believe in his lover, but his brother posses a magnificent look and somewhat her reaction can be considered as predictable. However, her blatant attitude can affect her reputation among the surrounding.
And yet, his brother's habits and attitudes have been the same. His current indifferent look is actually normal. His smiling face only appears in front of his wife and daughter. No, in fact, recently, his warm expression also appears sometimes when he stays at Vankriff family. As his little brother, he is very happy about this.
However, because Rovel never smiles at her, Aria seems to be worried that she might be hated. Sauvell thought she is restless because she is trying to get familiar with the family, but…………
Rovel: “Sauvell, I won’t come here for a while.”
Sauvell: “O, Older Brother?”
Rovel: “Both of us are feeling uncomfortable about the misunderstanding, right? Moreover, if I keep coming here, Ori will be jealous.”
Rovel makes a bitter smile at her brother who just spoke those words with a smile on his face.
Sauvell: “I’m sorry, Elder Brother.”
Rovel: “Don’t worry about it.”
After he said that Rovel teleports to the spirit realm.
By a chance both me and mother has been watching the whole thing through the water mirror.
Ellen: “……This is…”
Origin: “I hate it, shall I make a war proclamation?”
Ellen: “Waaa! Esteem Mother, calm down!!”
Her reaction is the same as from the incident a couple days ago which makes me flustered.
Ellen: “The other party is uncle Sauvell’s wife to be. Nothing can happen between her and Esteem Father. “
Origin: “Mu……But even so, that person is a beauty…”
Mother who slightly does not want to admit her rival, looks pretty cute in my eyes.
Ellen: “But compare to Mother, she is plain, isn’t she?”
Origin: “Ellen dear. Is it Mother’s victory?”
Ellen: “It’s an overwhelming victory!!”
The reason why I put up a fist and insist mother’s victory, although the other person is quite a beauty, her breast size is smaller.
Nevertheless, this is unacceptable. After all, when I think about……Aria’s attitude, she stole a glance at Father for about 3 times.
Ellen: “Esteem Father seems to realize it. Probably he does not want to meet that person again for the second time.”
Origin: “Obviously, Ellen.”
Suddenly Father appears from behind with a huge sweet smile on his face. He stares at us for a moment, and after staring at mother, he seems to have made some guess.
Rovel: “Come here, Ori.”
Origin: “NO!”
Without a warning, Rovel tries to spoil her. Based on his behavior, he seems to realize her jealousy. Feeling embarrassed, Origin suddenly running away from him.
Rovel: “Do you want me to chase you? Fine, if I catch you, I can do anything to you as I please, alright?”
With a splendid wicked smile on his face, Father chases after Mother. While looking at them with astonished eyes, I warn the spirits in the surrounding area.
Ellen: “Father and Mother’s game of tag will begin. Run away everyone~~!!”
I make up something like a loudspeaker by using piezoelectric elements and electric signal to alarm the entire castle. Towards the spirits who are scrambling and screaming, I totally sympathize with them. Father and Mother’s game of tag and fight always create a great disturbance to the surrounding…………………with physical damage.
Ellen: “Normally their relationship is always good, so it should be fine………”
I turn my neck. For some unknown reason, I feel something bad is going to happen, but I cannot prevent it.
