Lu Weixi furrowed her brow, unsure about the thought. After all, Qin Zhiyou had never visited her workplace or picked her up from work before. Plus, how could he know that she was working overtime today? It seemed impossible for him to just wait here, right?

The man had his head lowered, his hair slightly hanging. Upon hearing her descend the steps, he slowly raised his head. His rather indifferent eyes, upon seeing her, lit up as though ice and snow were melting. Their brightness, along with the faint smile on his lips and the dim streetlight above his head, gave him an extraordinarily enduring look.
Lu Weixi was stunned for a moment. No wonder beauty was so lethal — handsomeness was no different.
Indeed, the man turned out to be Qin Zhiyou. And he was actually smiling at her. Was she dizzy from hunger because she didn’t eat anything tonight?
As expected, the next second, after Qin Zhiyou acknowledged her, all signs of smiles instantly disappeared from his face, replaced by a frown. He stood up, staggered slightly —obviously drunk. He barely walked a few steps before his secretary, Mr. Wang, hurriedly followed him, pausing for a moment when he saw her. Yet, only gave her a nod and a greeting before immediately assisting Qin Zhiyou.
Qin Zhiyou shook off his arm, drew a deep breath, and stood still. Soon, a few middle-aged men in suits came over and laughed at him, “Well, Mr. Qin, we will discuss the details of our cooperation another time. Thank you for tonight.”
Qin Zhiyou also smiled and nodded, “It was a pleasure working with you”.
Witnessing the direction they came from, Lu Weixi recognized it as an exclusive restaurant. They probably dined near her company, explaining why Qin Zhiyou was in her office building. Meanwhile, drivers arrived to pick up the middle-aged men. After bidding their farewells, they got into their individual cars. Lu Weixi watched this scene with no interest, then moved toward her car. Just as she was about to pull out her car key from her purse, it was abruptly snatched from her hand. A strong smell of alcohol hit her nose —it didn’t take much to guess that it was —Qin Zhiyou.
Indeed, upon turning around she saw Qin Zhiyou with a reddening face, squinting at her bag, “Why is it you?”
She couldn’t be bothered arguing with a drunk man. She had barely said, “This is my workplace,” when she saw Qin Zhiyou frowning deeper, and then his tall body fell directly onto hers, causing her to step back several times. At the same time, her bag lost from his hand, scattering its belongings all over the ground.
“Hey, Qin Zhiyou.” Lu Weixi’s first thought was that he was heavy. Her second thought was to anxiously glance at her bag. Mr. Wang swiftly approached, wanting to help Lu Weixi get him up. However, his actions likely made Qin Zhiyou uncomfortable, causing him to simply hang both his arms around Lu Weixi’s neck and rest his head on her shoulder. Left with no choice, Lu Weixi said, “Mr. Wang, could you help me pick up my things? I’ll help him into the car.”
Mr. Wang nodded, promptly picking up her bag and placing her belongings inside. Thankfully, Qin Zhiyou was not completely passed out, he could still move slightly. They slowly moved to his car and Mr. Wang opened the door for her. Just as Lu Weixi was about to push him inside, she found that Qin Zhiyou was too heavy. When she bent down, Qin Zhiyou, along with her, fell onto the backseat, pinning her underneath him. It wasn’t just hard to get up and drive her car, she even found it hard to move..
