Chapter 23
Fourth Brother Qiao Yu
“Apologize to you?” One of the parents instantly flew into a rage and roared when they heard Qiao Yue’s words.
Qiao Yue gently rubbed her ears, which were ringing from the outrage, and said impassively, “Since the school couldn’t handle this, let’s call the police! We’ll just follow legal procedure. Get an injury report if you are injured and bring all the evidence. If you don’t have any of these, then don’t blame me for suing you for defamation.”
“What? What are you talking about, you little brat!”
Qiao Yue couldn’t be bothered with their complaints. She said goodbye to the teacher and left the Academic Affairs Office.
“Qiao Yue.”
Qiao Yue had only walked a few steps out of the Academic Affairs Office when she heard someone call her from behind.
Qiao Yue turned around and saw that it was the boy she had seen at the Academic Affairs Office. Although she had noticed the boy when he first came, she had not thought about him when the others started pestering her.
“What’s the matter?” Qiao Yue turned around, looking a little dispirited.
She had been through plenty of hardship but she rarely fought using her words. In the past, when she met people who wanted her to kill her or make her suffer, she would either let her fists do the talking or send them to meet God. She’d never been like she was now, completely driven up the wall.
“Hello, Qiao Yue. I’m your fourth brother, Qiao Yu.” Qiao Yu extended his hand to Qiao Yue.
Qiao Yu? Qiao Yue looked at his hand and frowned.

If this person was her fourth brother, why didn’t the Qiao family greet him just now?
As if he had seen through Qiao Yue’s confusion, Qiao Yu smiled and said, “I met first aunt and third aunt downstairs just now.”
That made sense. As for Qiao Xin, she probably didn’t have the chance to greet him.
Qiao Yue shook Qiao Yu’s hand. “Hello, fourth brother.”
After meeting each other, the two of them walked side by side toward the classrooms.
“You’re very good at fighting,” Qiao Yu started a conversation topic.
“Not too bad. I used to fight a lot in the past,” Qiao Yue responded with a faint smile.
Qiao Yu looked at Qiao Yue and said after a moment, “Why?”
Qiao Yue knew that Qiao Yu was asking about why she fought but she answered obliquely, “Without the protection of others, one needs to be stronger.”
“True,” Qiao Yu agreed.
Qiao Yue realized that from the moment Qiao Yu started talking to her, the smile on his face didn’t change a bit, like he was wearing a mask.
“Fourth brother, your punches are good.”
“What?”
Qiao Yu stopped in his tracks and looked at Qiao Yue, his smile less wide than before.
Qiao Yue didn’t think much of it and said indifferently, “Doesn’t fourth brother like boxing? I also didn’t think that fourth brother, who looks as gentle as a lamb, likes boxing.”
The curve at the corners of Qiao Yu’s mouth seemed to change slightly, and his eyes shifted. He looked at Qiao Yue and swallowed the words of denial he had wanted to say.
“You’re quite observant. I heard that you’re good at fighting. Let’s spar sometime.”
After being exposed by Qiao Yue, Qiao Yu didn’t hide it anymore and invited Qiao Yue.
“You’re in no mood to go back to class now, right?” Qiao Yu clearly read Qiao Yue’s expression just now and knew how frustrated she was in the office.
“Model student planning to skip class?” Qiao Yue raised her eyebrows slightly and teased.
“We’re in university now. It doesn’t matter if we skip a class or two. They are not going to call our parents.”
Although Qiao Yu’s expression didn’t change much, the eagerness to battle in his eyes were obvious.
“Alright,” Qiao Yue replied.
Walking out of the campus, Qiao Yu led Qiao Yue into an alley.
Qiao Yue was stunned when she saw the row of expensive and colorful motorcycles in the garage.
“What are you looking at? Pick one.”
“Any one?”
“Yes. You don’t expect me to bring you there, right? I don’t take pillion riders.”
At that moment, Qiao Yu was no longer a model student. He pushed back his bangs, revealing his bright forehead. His eyes were no longer calm and peaceful but filled with unrestrained wildness.
Qiao Yu stopped in front of a Confederate B12 Wraith, touched the bike and said, “I’m taking this one.”
Qiao Yue’s eyes were fixed on Qiao Yu, watching his every move. After a while, she asked, “Fourth brother, you’re so good at pretending in school. Aren’t you tired?”
“Mom and dad like it.”
Qiao Yu didn’t continue the topic. Instead, he asked Qiao Yue, “Are you sure about this bike?”
“Yeah.”
Qiao Yue picked a Dodge Tomahawk, which she was used to riding.
“Uncle Qian, we’ll be taking these two bikes.”
“Okay. Be careful on the road.”
Qiao Yu just shouted into the garage, and in the next second, a middle-aged man’s voice answered.
“Does fourth brother always come here?” Qiao Yue asked.
“Whenever I want to play. This place is opened by third brother. You can come and play here too if you have nothing to do.”
Third brother... Qiao Yue was stunned for a moment, then she remembered Qiao Ze say that he liked people who loved cars.
The two of them headed to the Xicheng District at the edge of A-City. There were not many people on the road at this time, so traffic was relatively smooth.
