Chapter 370: Level Battles 44

Chapter 370: Level Battles 44

Level Battles 44

"There is no recent map for North Sepedra because the beasts reconstructed it for their colonies. The simple and straight path that could lead you toward the North Sepedra is the finishing point of the South Sepedra where the territory of the third island ends." The elder checked the mission details and the belongings which were sent by the Hightown then he roughly pointed the direction.

Qiao has seen the third island and he only needed to advance in the opposite direction for entering in the North Sepedra. "I understood the location." Qiao spoke before the elder could add few more pointers by waving his hands in the air. It looked like the elder was telling address of the next street.

The elder relaxed seeing that the hunter understood how to reach the said place. "I have no more information regarding the North Sepedra and cannot tell what will be awaiting you in this mission. You are fortunate to hunt many beasts before this Class Test; it might release some aura of beasts from you. This way you can walk among them. Remember the said culprit is level eight and he must possess some rare stone else there is no reason for the beasts to let him lead them." The elder added.

He was trying his best to elaborate most of the information or precautions. Later the elder opened small pouch, three powerful level eight stones were placed inside. Initially they decided on sending two stones but for some reason they sent three.

Through the reports they were able to collect some of the information about the young hunter and they knew that he never kept lower level weapon or stone instead one level stronger than his present level. They did not want to face the dissatisfaction of the young hunter so they sent three.

"The Hightown has no information regarding how much secrets the hunter has shared with beasts. Or what made him betray the hunters. So it is up to you to find out." The elder stood up and then sat again.

"One more thing, you cannot take your monster in the North Sepedra, the beasts would kill immediately because they detested monsters as well as hunters likewise." The elder finished his words while placing keys in front of the young hunter, "If you want to take rest, a room is assigned to you."

Qiao did not interrupt the elder during his talk. He has fewer questions because he believed in action rather than excuse. He picked the keys not because he wanted to take rest instead he was going to check whether he could make the second weapon.

As for the matter of his monster, he could not let Lam surrounded by beasts. Qiao decided to leave the loyal monster at the Hunter Association for the time being or it could live in the third island until the Class Test was done. Qiao thought it thoroughly and nodded.

Someone guided him the room. Walking inside Qiao locked the door and opened the pouch filled with the beast stones. It was rarest of events where so many beasts faced the wrath of some Hunter King. It was ordered by the Hightown that the stronger Hunters should not harm the forest living out of their whim unless they were on mission and surrounded by the monsters or the beasts.

Qiao used the same method on these stones which he used on the stones gathered from the fifth island. The water creatures were killed by the scalawag and the leftover stones were scattered on the ground. Despite using same or two fold amount of energy from the level eight stone. He could not melt these beast stones.

In few attempts the room charred by the flames. Still the beast stones were in same condition. One or two hunters walking near the room noticed the something going wrong in the specific room. Normally walls would not shook or tremor unless the hunter was using stone energy inside it.

Stone practice was not allowed in the individual rooms because they were no way similar to those abodes built in the Hightown. Using stone energy could seriously damage all adjacent rooms and the building. Qiao did not check the difference because he was well versed with how to control this energy.

He was immersed in the experiments when someone knocked on the door. The elder from the first desk was informed by the native hunters and he was standing in front of the door when Qiao opened it. The elder sneaked the half room through the half open door. "Young man you should avoid using stone energy in the building. You would not like to see the poor building crumble down, would you?" the elder politely chuckled and his anger subsided seeing who was residing in the room.

"Is that so? Rest assured I won't use it anymore." Qiao looked at the native hunters standing behind and answered. He was done with the experiments and gave up. He was planning to go out and ask someone but not random hunter of course.

Qiao collected his belongings and walked out some time later. A hunter was standing in the open hall of the Hunter Association. As soon as he caught sight of him, he walked to greet. He was among the native hunters added in his team in the recently completed mission.

"Can this senior bring me along toward Hightown?" he expectantly asked. Qiao took a glance and remembered that he was among team members. "I am not heading toward Hightown." He plainly answered and walked ahead. The native hunter fell on his knees and begged, "Then please keep this stronger stone and let me travel with you. I wanted to learn from you." He was literally pleading. Qiao furrowed his brows, the begging was simply unreasonable. "I am not short on stones and you already know?" Qiao briefly glanced as if trying to read his face.

He was just a native hunter immensely moved by the senior hunter. He himself was very clear that this begging would not help. The senior has loyal monster for flight while he was nobody. "I indeed know senior and not intend to offend either. Can you give some guidance; it will be huge favor for a poor hunter." He pleaded with the same transparent expression.
