Alicia spotted his gaze and exhaled heavily before saying, "I usually don't get far whenever I choose to run away from my parents that I've come to realisation that the best way to hide from them is to stay in plain sight."
Liam looked at her as he pulled the car over right next to the road and said, "What do you mean by, 'you don't get far'? do they usually ransack your dates like this?"
Alicia chuckled at the concern she could detect from his voice and looked at him with a look which said, 'that's exactly what I meant'
A few minutes passed as they both gazed at each other without any words being said until Alicia interrupted the quite with a question. She said," Everything seems a little too quiet this time. I think we might have something bigger to deal with than just my parents. Do you see that car approaching us?"
Liam looked at the rear-view mirror as he spotted a car which drove hurriedly towards them.
When the car was parked opposite their car a man got out of the car and started walk towards them with a very stern look on his face.
.......
JAMES PETERSON'S POV
"She was in a date with a new guy sir, what should we proceed with?" asked a man in a call.
James who was holding his phone listened intensely as the man spoke about how Alicia acted while being accompanied on a date.
Although he had no emotion on his face, the grip on his phone grew even tighter by each word the man spoke.
When James placed the phone away from his ears, he asked that all his meetings to be pushed back for the next week as he would be travelling out of Paris for a while. That was when he prepared his jet to take him to Britain.
He was both pissed and surprised at the way his men explained the situation Alicia was in, she seemed to enjoy a date with this 'NEW MAN' which made James even angrier. He had to get rid of the man as soon as possible, backing down was not an option.
