“Are you still coming the next couple of days?” Lu Shao looked at Su Ran and asked.

It was just final examination. Lu Shao didn’t feel that Su Han needed such special treatment.

“Yes, of course.” Even though her son was quite independent but, so many parents from their school were there. Of course she would need to be there as well.

Upon hearing that and seeing the determination in Su Ran’s eyes, Lu Shao smiled.

“Alright, then you should go to bed earlier.”

“I’ve been going to bed at 9 lately. That seems early enough,” said Su Ran. Why was she still so tired in the morning?

“Mmm.” Lu Shao nodded.

Listening to the couple’s conversation from across, Zhou Qin’s eyes lit up all of a sudden and she looked over at Su Ran with some thoughts.

Truth was, let it be Lu Shao or Su Ran, neither one of them had experienced pregnancy, nor childbirth.

Zhou Qin was different. She was experienced comparing to the two in front of her.

She had an inkling when she heard Mother Su Han’s words earlier.

When she heard some more, she was more certain of her idea.

Besides, Mother Su Han seemed to look more well spirited than the last time she ran into her outside of the school……

Zhou Qin chuckled a little secretly and thought to herself.

When the two ladies headed to the bathroom together, Zhou Qin finally couldn’t help but asked, “Mother Su Han, are you guys prepared for you second child?” Zhou Qin blinked and looked over at Su Ran.

Su Ran was taken aback a little when she first heard that.

Su Ran felt her cheeks burned a little when Zhou Qin broached the subject unexpectedly.

“Em, sorta. That’s the plan anyway.”

Su Ran was more or less leaving it up to fate when it came to having another child. Mr. Lu, however, seemed to really want to have a second child and had been working hard on that.

And, under his subtle influence, Su Ran started to look forward to a cute little girl.

The scores from this round of final examinations were released quickly.

Su Ran had thought that it would take at least a week and that she would have time to prepare herself mentally. Lo and behold, they were available in just three days.

[Parents chatgroup of Class #8]

[Class Teacher]: @all, Hi all parents, the grades for the final examinations and the overall ranking are ready. I will be posting them shortly.

[Class Teacher]: [document]

[Class Teacher]: With regards to this round of final examinations and the overall ranking, our class did quite well overall. Our overall grades ranked #3 among the 11 classes of their grade.

[Class Teacher]: Among the top 10 in school, 4 of them were from our class. Su Han, in particular, took the first place in the entire school with is overall grades.

[Class Teacher]: In addition, the mid-/low- students from our classes didn’t do bad either……

Su Ran had already tuned out to the rest of the class teacher’s message.

She opened up the document immediately after it was sent.

All of her nervousness was gone when she saw that her son’s name was, indeed, at the top. All of her initial nervousness had been replaced by excitement.

She returned to the chatgroup.

It hadn’t been long and there had already been 99+ messages in the parents’ chatgroup.

[Mother Xiong Nairan]: Xiong Nairan improved quite a bit this time. Thank you, Teacher.

[Father Lin Xue]: Thank you for all your work with Lin Xue this semester, Teacher Wang.

[Mother Liu Min]: Teacher, Liu Min’s grades from this examinations had gone down a lot. Did the problem sets overall became more difficult or that she was doing worse?

……

[Father Lin Xiaojin]: Su Han is #1 again!

[Mother Lin Xue]: Yeah, he scored over 95 on all subjects. That’s incredible.

[Mother Du WenTao]: Nevermind about over 95. I’d be happy if Du WenTao can score above 80 consistently.

Nobody knew how it got started but the subject had gone from everyone’s own child to the raising of a valedictorian.

Looking at all the crazy rainbow fart directed at her son in the parent’s chatgroup, Su Ran replied “humbly”: Oh, not much, Su Han just spent more time on doing practice problem sets over the last two months.

She sounded very humble but, in reality, she was feeling ecstatic.
