My Virtual Girlfriend Is Actually a Lady From the Richest Family

Chapter 135: Mr. Lex's Problem

The market behind the hotel is a traditional market. Although it has a building, it is not enough to accommodate all the vendors because the number of vendors is too large.

Most sell outside in tents.

David found many westerners in the market as well. Most of them also had bodyguards.

David saw some vendors selling traditional local clothing and handicrafts.

However, the most interesting to him were the food vendors because he was hungry.

He saw different types of menus that smelled very strong.

When he saw a vendor selling soup and roast duck, he immediately decided to approach the vendor.

He immediately sat down, signaling to the vendor to give him a portion.

Mr. Lex didn't sit down, he just stood near David, looking after him.

The vendor was quite quick in preparing David's order. The rice was plentiful and the duck was one piece.

Since he was already hungry, David ate his meal right away.

As he ate, he watched the vendors at the market work.

It was quite busy, even busier than the markets in the capital. David guessed that although this small town looked underdeveloped, the economy of the people was very strong because of the many natural resources they produced.

As David continued to eat, he suddenly saw three men in their 30s approaching Mr. Lex and Mr. Lex's expression looked uncomfortable at being approached.

The three of them didn't look like gangsters as their clothes were more neat, however, they did give off a scary impression. David thought each of them gave a similar impression to Mr. Lex.

The difference was that Mr. Lex was clearly the type who had a good personality. That could not be said for the three men.

Once in front of Mr. Lex, they spoke to him, only calling Mr. Lex by his name.

Unfortunately, David couldn't understand their conversation.

Even so, when Mr. Lex answered, David immediately knew that they seemed to want something from Mr. Lex that Mr. Lex refused.

Over time, the intensity of their conversation became high. The three men spoke louder, making the people around them uncomfortable.

It was just that, because they looked scared, people didn't dare to reprimand the three men. Most chose to avoid the problem.

"What's going on?" David finally couldn't keep quiet anymore. He asked Mr. Lex, stopping his conversation with the three men.

Mr. Lex turned his gaze to David but seemed hesitant to explain.

One of the three men spoke again, but still in the local language so David didn't understand.

However, David was sure that he was threatening Mr. Lex.

That instantly made Mr. Lex's expression heavy but also annoyed.

David rolled his eyes, knowing that this was a conflict that Mr. Lex might not be able to handle.

After a moment of thought, he picked up the wood that was lying not far from his chair.

It wasn't luck that there was wood around but there was indeed a lot of wood scattered in this market. Mostly firewood that was a little wet so it was thrown away by the merchants.

After picking up the wood, David stood up.

With a quick movement, he swung the wood at the head of each of the three men.

It looked like he only swung the wood once, but it was actually three times because his movements were too fast.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The wood hit their heads hard, making their bodies lift into the air before falling down with blood dripping from their heads.

Even standing up became difficult for them as the impact of the wood shook all their cells.

"Ahhh..." Although they looked strong, not even afraid of sharp weapons, they still whimpered in pain.

"Sir, you?" Mr. Lex was astonished.

He had a hard time dealing with the three of them because he knew that they were real experts. In this town, they were the most feared. In fact, they have killed several people, even a mining boss, but they are still able to roam around because they are difficult to deal with even by the police.

Unfortunately, one attack from David instantly rendered them powerless.

Mr. Lex kept trying to remember how David attacked but he still couldn't remember clearly because David's movements were too fast.

It was beyond what the human eye could read. Even if he was prepared, Mr. Lex knew that he would not be able to dodge.

To his surprise, after attacking them once, David suddenly did it again.

He stepped on each of their feet, right on their thighs.

"Ohh..." Their eyes opened wide, as if they were about to lose their souls.

What was horrifying was the sound of bones breaking from their legs.

No, it was probably more than just a break. Perhaps their femurs had been crushed.

"Handicapped people can't threaten anymore no matter how strong they are," David said, looking at Mr. Lex with a slight smile.

The latter couldn't say anything as he was still confused by what happened.

Fortunately, there was an ambulance in the market.

Some people who realized that the three men were in serious trouble took them by ambulance.

Perhaps the people in this small town were indeed kind, still willing to help troublemakers.

It was just that there were no police around, so there was no further trouble for David.

People also didn't look like they wanted to report the matter to the police.

While they could help the villains, they didn't try to make things difficult for the hero.

While they were taken away by the ambulance, David continued eating.

There were now many admiring glances at him, as if not expecting that he could destroy the three men.

At the same time, Mr. Lex sat up and sighed.

"Sir, you are very skillful," he said to David, starting to become curious about his abilities.

"Just a little skill," David replied.

"Who exactly are they?" He couldn't help but ask because he was curious about Mr. Lex's problem.

"The same people as me, but they're out of work because they just got fired," Mr. Lex replied.

"Fired?" David showed a strange expression.

"Then what do they want from you?" David asked again.

"They want me to help them work for Miss Jenny while she stays in town. However, this is something I can't do. Even if I could, I wouldn't help them because they would definitely do some bad things." Mr. Lex replied.

"Is it very common to ask each other for favors like that?" asked David.

"Yes, but the three of them are not the type to help people. They just like asking favors from others." Mr. Lex looked very annoyed at them when he talked about that.

David wanted to laugh, but could only say that it was human nature.

"Then what are the bad things they usually do when they work?"

"They sometimes steal their bosses' things and like to sell information. They are the least trustworthy in this city," Mr. Lex replied.

"What makes you afraid of them?" David laughed softly when asked about that.

Mr. Lex obviously didn't dare to fight them or he would have rejected them outright and then beat them up if they were unhappy.

Mr. Lex smiled wryly at the question.

"They are really strong and skilled in fighting, even with sharp weapons. I think I can win the fight if it's just a duel, but it's difficult if it's one vs. three. However, the most difficult thing about them is that they have many subordinates and they don't hesitate to harass the families of their enemies." Mr. Lex explained.

"Are they still a threat now?" David asked.

They were already disabled but if they had subordinates, they could still order their subordinates to make trouble for Mr. Lex.

"Right!" David suddenly got an idea.

"How about you come with me to Europe? After all, you have English skills. I can give you a big salary," he said.

Mr. Lex was skilled as an ordinary human and had a good personality. David thought he was suitable to be given Deity's blood.

He was pretty sure he could use his powers well.

David's offer instantly intrigued Mr. Lex. He didn't doubt David's claim as he could get the biggest mine in the city emptied.

He must have paid him very handsomely, enough to make his entire family live comfortably with the best quality of life.

It was just that, once intrigued, he became doubtful.

"It probably can't be because I have a contract with that mining company," he said.

David waved his hand at that.

"Your contract is over today, go home and bring your family to the capital. Later, you can decide where they will live," David said so Mr. Lex opened his mouth.

"What about Miss Jenny?" he asked.

"Don't worry about her. Nothing will happen as long as I'm by her side. Tomorrow, we will also return to the capital," David replied.

"Okay!" Mr. Lex nodded. It seemed that he had already decided to follow David.

After all, here he was just doing ordinary work, it was better to follow David who was obviously the world's big elite. He had a hunch that he would see things never seen.

However, he actually frowned again after he agreed.

"What else?" asked David.

"I have a lot of family members, about 20 of them. I don't have enough money to buy a plane ticket to the capital," replied Mr. Lex.

David, "..."
