Chapter 347: The Samsara Lotus
At the mention of the Samsara Lotus, hope flickered in Rio's eyes as he looked at Eve. Seeing the glimmer of hope in Rio's gaze, the expressions of Lia, Nyla, and Layla shifted ever so slightly as they began to hope for a miracle themselves. Though Lia's heart continued to cry internally, her eyes held onto the possibility of a miraculous recovery.
Without wasting another second, Rio gently lifted Helia's body and followed Eve's directions to the Samsara Lotus. The mythical flower resided in a serene corner of the garden, surrounded by a small, crystal-clear pond.
As they approached, the captivating rainbow-colored light radiating from the water seemed to dance and shimmer, reflecting the celestial energies emanating from the lotus.
Carefully, Rio placed Helia's body in the middle of the golden petals of the Samsara Lotus.
Almost immediately, the petals began to emit a soft, ethereal glow, enveloping Helia in a protective layer that shimmered with divine energy. The barrier safeguarded her body and soul, preserving them until the moment of resurrection.
As the Samsara Lotus worked its magic, the atmosphere around them changed subtly. The rejuvenating energy it released seemed to dissipate the heavy sorrow that hung in the air, giving Lia, Nyla, Layla, and Rio a faint sense of solace amidst their grief.
All eyes remained on the lifeless form of Helia, as they hoped and prayed for the power of the Samsara Lotus to bring her back to them.
"That's a relief, her soul has been preserved inside the Samsara Lotus. It will take some time before you guys can talk to her again," Eve's voice sounded beside them, and all their eyes went towards her.
Emperor Dylan wanted to ask who this elf was, but he was already happy at the work of this elf who said that Helia would be all fine, and somehow they were able to save her. The name itself told him that this was some heavenly treasure, and he could feel the aura just by being there.
Lia's gaze towards Eve was as if she was a goddess, but before she could speak, Eve said, "Don't thank me… It was him who chose to go there to bring it, although I lied to him that it will save you in the future…" The girl had a sly smile on her face as she declared how she tricked Rio and made him get this treasure which was actually for Helia.

"How did you know about this?" Rio asked in her thought.
"Goddess will tell you about it herself, just wait for it… You're almost there to know all the truth…" Eve dodged the question by giving it to the goddess but she conversed this part via telepathy.
"Now that Helia has been saved, you should ask the main culprit what happened," the girl said as she walked towards the emperor and hovered her finger in the air gracefully.
A few vines appeared around the emperor, which coiled around his chair to undo the rope around him.
The Emperor's gaze fell downward toward the ground as he heard Eve's words, cursing her inwardly. Feeling the weight of everyone's gaze upon him, he began to narrate his story.
"Twenty-two years ago, I fell in love with a girl. I later discovered she was human, but she was friends with Ayan Celestial Eye, so we got married, as you know, love is blind.
When Father and Ayan Celestial Eye were absent from the Shamor Empire, you and your sister were born," the Emperor said, his voice heavy with emotion.

On a dark and stormy night, the heavens unleashed their fury with roaring thunder and lightning that lit up the sky. It was as if the celestial beings were sending a dire warning to the world, urging them to prevent the seeds of destruction from taking root.
The people of Shamor's capital city huddled in fear within their homes, the resounding peals of thunder instilling a sense of divine anger and dread in their hearts.
Meanwhile, inside the main castle, the Emperor was locked in a solemn conversation with the head priest.
The atmosphere in the room was thick with tension, the raging storm outside mirroring the turmoil brewing within the castle walls.
The flickering candlelight cast eerie shadows on the walls, adding to the somber mood as the two men discussed a matter of grave importance.
"This is bad, Your Highness. The second child is born without the Devlin bloodline, and her eyes, the Vision of the Void, are a gift from the evil god. She will bring about the destruction of this world, and moreover, she will kill her sister and you," the old priest with a fragile figure said, appearing as if he was already halfway into the grave.
As the Emperor heard this, he remembered the prophecy his father had made and immediately asked, "Is there no way to fix this?"
"I would give anything to say otherwise, Your Highness, but there is no cure to be had for this calamity," declared the priest, his voice filled with anguish.
The Emperor, burdened by the weight of the prophecy, retreated to his chamber and locked himself in, seeking solitude.
An hour ticked by, each minute heavier than the last. When he finally emerged, his face was etched with a pained expression, a testament to the heart-wrenching decision he had made. As he stepped out, three shadowy figures hurried out of his room, following his silent command.
As he waited, the echo of rushed footsteps reached his ears. Moments later, a woman with silver hair appeared before him. Her otherworldly beauty was striking, leaving no doubt that Hazel and Lia had inherited their stunning looks from their mother.
Cradled gently in her arms, two newborn babies nestled against her chest, their tiny hands grasping at her clothing, unaware of the storm brewing around them.
