Chapter 228 [Eight Words To Die For]
"In anticipation of your marriage, the Alzerian Kingdom has already arranged for a potential ceremony.
We can hold it for five days upon your request.
It would ensure that the wedding can be held before any attack to ensure your wedding is risk and care-free."
Marie and Riley burst into tears again.
Charlotte trembled lightly with happiness in her eyes, trying her best to get ahold of herself.
Helix took a deep breath and gave them all a slight smile.
Then looked up at him with beating hearts.
They knew it was time [for the request].
"After your [official] marriage ceremony, the Kingdom invites you spend your life together in Alzeria." Helix continued.
His partner's eyes widened in astonishment.
"As a wedding gift, we have purchased your first official home together to symbolize our gratitude for the Earthian leaders."
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley's eyes started sparkling at the news.
"While we understand that your life isn't simple, you're welcome to spend as much of your peaceful lives here in Alzeria as you wish."
Helix choked up slightly.
While it was a request made on behalf of his partners, it was the most important to him.
His decision to leave Alzeria after forming the legal system was due to negative feelings toward the cities.
Moreover, he wanted to live a simple, peaceful life.
Now that relationships have improved, it would be easier to accomplish their goals of a peaceful life if things remained stable.
He didn't care where he lived so long as life was peaceful.
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley cried when they saw his happy face.
"We have also…." Helix laughed and gave them all a stunning smile.
"Created a limited autonomous administrative district in Alzeria to honor the Earthians as an official legal people."
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley's eyes widened in shock.
"A piece of land has been offered to the Earthians to form their nation."
Charlotte grinned when she heard the announcement.
Marie was equally enthusiastic.
Riley didn't understand why they were offered the land, but she understood the ramifications.
Helix gave Riley a mysterious smile before continuing.
"I, Queen Liliana Zinon, formally welcome his Majesty King Helix Hellsgate Margrave, Queen Marie Mira Skybolt, Queen Charlotte Lisa Kline, and Queen Lilian Singer to Alzeria."
"Yeeeeessss! I'm a muthafuckin' queen!" Charlotte cried while pumping her hand in the air.
Riley cocked her head in confusion.

"Why are we queens?" She asked innocently.
Marie gave Riley a wry smile.
"It's the only way to make her request." She sighed.
However, she giggled after watching Charlotte prance around for a few more seconds.
They weren't political queens on paper.
The three were [legally] Royalty of their nation.
Now she truly understood why it was difficult to refuse queen Liliana.
She was trying to save her Kingdom and went to extreme lengths.
Marie couldn't be bitter about politics when Liliana formally crowned them as [legitimate queens].
Helix laughed at the absurdity as well.
Everyone burst into laughter as a group.
"As a strong political ally who has aided Alzeria, we have a request for the Earthian kingdom and their rulers."
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley calmed down again.
"After your consummation, we seek a political alliance and wish to tie our allegiance through a political marriage.
We offer a marriage between Princess Eliza Kinon, King Helix Hellsgate Margrave, Queen Marie Mira Margrave, Queen Charlotte Lisa Margrave, and Queen Riley Lilian Margrave."
The three were bitter for a fraction of a second before processing the latter statements.
They looked at Helix with wide, sparkingly eyes.
Marie Margrave, Charlotte Margrave, and Riley Margrave.
While it was a harem marriage—it was a real marriage.
"As the Earthian custom of polygamy, unofficially referred to as harem relationships on Earth, the marriage would be between Princess Eliza Kinon and all Monarchs of the Earthian kingdom."
Charlotte started trembling.
"WAIT, WHAT!?" Charlotte cried.
"How the hell did you get Queen Liliana to say that!? Power play to the max!"
Marie and Riley burst into bewildered giggles as well.
Everyone sought an explanation.
Helix gave them a slight smile that was wry on the inside.
—
Queen Liliana agreed to work with Helix to convince his partners after ironing out the political necessities.
"The gate keeper is Marie." Helix explained.
"Without her, I cannot, and will not, accept the political marriage."
Liliana listened with a serious expression on her face.
The two were standing in a conversational secrecy circle while guards circled them five feet away.
That way, they couldn't hear the content of the discussion but could attack if necessary.
"So helping me make my marriage proposal and offering gifts condition-free helps me make the proposal special." Helix explained with a charismatic smile.
"I can purchase the gifts myself. It's not the point.
Having a queen help you make a marriage proposal is independently attractive.
It's the only way I can justify lacing my most powerful emotional experience with a Royal request.
It's ideal for all of us."
Liliana giggled lightly.
She could understand why, regardless of the circumstances.
"I can do that." She confirmed with a nod.
It was a small price to pay.
"Now, onto the strategy." Helix chuckled nervously.
Liliana's eyes sharpened; she knew whatever came out of his mouth wouldn't be positive.
"Riley is a gentle soul that will go along with anything, so long as the others are happy." Helix explained.
The queen nodded.
She had heard about Riley, notorious for being extraordinarily kind but willing to go to any extreme without issue.
"The real key to victory is in Charlotte." Helix continued.
Liliana narrowed her eyes and let them glide to the left in thought.
It was a strange declaration she wasn't expecting.
"Her excitement is contagious to an extreme." He chuckled with a warm smile.
"Marie tends to follow her without Charlotte even requesting."
The queen's eyes widened in surprise when she understood the value.
"So, what do we need to do to excite her?" She asked suspiciously.
Helix opened and closed his mouth awkwardly.
"Queen Lilianna, can I speak bluntly under the secrecy of this circle without fear of offending you?"
Liliana nodded with a serious expression.
"Given the circumstances, I'd prefer it."
Helix took a deep breath and gave the queen a wry smile.
"Eight words and one added sentence will increase approval's chances by 50%."
Liliana's eyes widened in shock.
It was an astronomical difference.
She knew that whatever the words were, they wouldn't be good.
However, it was a number she couldn't ignore.
"They are?"
He took a deep breath with an apologetic expression.
"Unofficially referred to as harem relationships on Earth." Helix sighed.
Liliana blinked twice and frowned.
"Why?" She asked bluntly.
He nodded with a sorrowful expression.
"As you've been informed, we come from a special subculture on Earth." Helix sighed.
"I couldn't forget even if I wanted to." Liliana replied with a serious expression.
The difference between cultures was deadly and bordered on disaster 24/7.
"And, as you've seen, a few strange words can turn a lethal group of young adults into docile kittens preparing to protect your country."
Liliana gave Helix a gawking expression.
She immediately understood his implication.
The queen had forgotten something critically important—
"While it's not apparent, I, along with Charlotte, Marie, and Riley, are [also] part of that subculture." Helix chuckled with a shame-filled smile.
Liliana sent Helix a vicious mocking smile.
She'd take [any] opportunity to hit him while he was down without consequences.
"There's an awful cliche in the cultured books our people read." Helix chuckled with dead eyes.
"The main character becomes so influential they obtain a princess as part of their harem."
Helix winced as he said the words. Explaining it to his mom would be traumatic—presenting it to the queen of a continent's superpower was paralysis-inducing-grade mortifying.
Liliana wanted to glare daggers at him but understood he wasn't playing games with her.
It was clear he hated the cliche.
Moreover, he didn't want to marry Princess Eliza.
So she gave him a serious look and didn't express disdain.
Ultimately, they were playing politics.
The value of the political marriage far exceeded the humiliation of the circumstances, so long as the humiliation wasn't public.
So she swallowed her pride and let him continue, gesturing by closing her eyes, taking a deep breath, and then opening them again.
Helix gave her a grateful smile.
"Charlotte doesn't read those novels, does not like the cliche, and doesn't want to share me.".
Liliana's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden twist.
"However…." Helix sighed.
"If you leave the insinuation, she'll take it as the ultimate compliment to [me], find it hilarious, and [beg] Marie to accept."
Liliana scoff-laughed at the explanation.
Helix emphasized the word beg, so she knew that the admission wasn't a joke and ignoring it would be foolish.
At the same time, it was insulting and made her bitter.
"That's why…." Helix sighed with bitter eyes.
Liliana perked up again after seeing his heavy expression.
"I'm willing to enter a blood pact with a guard to keep the letter you write safe and confidential within reasonable limitations at the cost of my life."
