Chapter 2106: K

The Kings of various kingdoms saw the usurpation of a mysterious person onto the Mong's Empire throne and for some reason, all of the ministers were in sync with this...K person, bending their knees just for him only. To the other Kings, it seemed like it was a coup d'etat especially when all of the ministers were in sync to support this new king of Mong.

But what they did not know was that the amount of spiritual pressure this particular person was throwing out had forced them to their knees even if they did not wish for it to happen. And because of such an impression, the Kings believed this was an internal act.

However, due to the attack against Ress, no kingdom would be stupid enough to bother interfering with the Mong Empire's sudden usurpation.

They do not have the manpower or resources to do so and even though the Kingdoms of Pal and Nalg did not put in throw in as much as the other kingdoms and allied nations, with the excuse of needing troops to defend their borders against demons, they were not moving an inch from their current predicament.

That was also why K had decided to strike at this moment and utilise any Star Foxes that were in Mong to create this opportunity to take the throne. He did not need to go 'standard protocol' with the Mong Empire mainly due to the fact that the King had been running a tyrannical dictatorship style for the longest time ever.

So, all he had to do was to make sure things were still running as it was while enabling him to achieve his agenda. It was only after the situation died down that the team of Star Foxes who had previously been ordered by Jin to investigate Mong decided to speak up to their original master and teacher.

"Why not?" That was the answer that Kraft gave them when they asked the reason why Kraft did not report his reappearance to Jin. "Besides, I got bored being stuck in that stiff role of a Royal Advisor. "But Master, you are basically a person with the largest amount of power available! Freedom too!" The Star Fox said as he attempted to gush fake praises to his master.

"Well, I already got the entire Mong Empire in my hands, why should I stand for the mere role of an advisor?" Kraft chuckled as his Star Foxes knew that their master would get tired of the role quickly. They even had an internal betting among the team to see how long he could last accordingly to his personality.

"So, Your Majesty. What is your first royal order?" The Star Foxes continued to suck up to Kraft and his answer was pretty obvious. They were merely surprised it was still in line with Jin's direction.

"Round up all the Celestial Collaborators and we will do our own testing to produce some anti celestial weaponry," Kraft ordered but the Star Foxes instantly knew that it was not like Jin who were focusing on the remnants of the Celestials that they had collected.

The new King of Mong was going for live subjects, just as how they had done so with the slaves to produce those human mixed Celestial subjects.

"Since the Celestials had done this to the humans, we should also do the same to them, right?" Kraft smiled and the Star Foxes understood where he was coming from. To their master, the Celestials were his new toys to play with but what they did not expect was that he wanted to make them suffer.

"Yes, your Majesty!" The Team of Star Foxes nodded their heads and they began to perform their task so that their goal could be completed as soon as possible. And that starts by controlling the ministers and even the Empire Police Chief Commissioner so that they have the power and privilege to catch and detain these Celestials.

And that was what happened in the coming weeks where manipulated policemen were running around, performing major raid operations to catch the remaining human turned Celestials or even pure Celestials. The latter was where the Star Foxes would come in to do the chasing as well as the subduing of such said Celestials.

Eventually, one could say that the Mong Empire had become even more oppressive because the gold to turn in such Celestial 'beings' was enormously high and such rewards would no doubt cause a few people to betray their close relatives, friends, and even colleagues.

However, it was precisely for such rewards that those Celestials would be turned in by the public and Kraft would be able to get things done.

These live experiments upon capturing such targets had also allowed the Star Foxes to make significant progress in making the anti Celestial weapon that they had desired and the Star Foxes in Mong Empire secretly fed information to the foxes within Ress.

This enabled the both to quicken their pace in researching the anti celestial weapon. As expected once more, the weapon needed to contain elements of both demon and anti demon properties to deem it useful.

However, it was not practical since demon and anti demon properties were not exactly the most compatible of elements especially when the anti demon properties were found in Jin's customised dungeons. They were also hard to harvest mainly because of the monsters' ranks. They were at least Rank EX-D and above.

Still, it was a direction they were able to create and the Star Foxes were willing to go to the extra mile to do so because their master told them so. "King Jin should be lucky that our master's goal aligned with his, otherwise we would not be taking so much initiative to do this." The Star Foxes goaded and the rest felt the same too.

But regardless of the allegiance, Ress as a whole was improving step by step to ensure that things were moving in pace to ensure that the kingdom was able to subsequently fight the Celestials.
