I rose from my place in the dimly lit room, my mind a chaotic maze, and my thoughts nonexistent.

It felt as though I were wading through a murky fog, guided solely by primal instincts.

Each breath I took seemed forced, unnatural, as if the very air conspired against me.

The room around me appeared to both close in and recede, creating a surreal sensation, like stepping into a dream.

In this dream, I was still stuck in the room—still trapped in the space where I was abandoned.

Despite being trapped in this room, none of it seemed to matter; it was as if the constraints of reality had loosened their grip.

With determination, I approached the locked door.

My hand reached for the knob, knowing it wouldn't open, but to my surprise, it turned, and the door creaked open, freeing me from the torment of that room.

But in this dreamlike state, it was hardly surprising.

I moved past the open door, navigating the ever-shifting surroundings, my sole focus on a single, beckoning door.

In a silence filled with anticipation, I grasped the knob and stepped inside, and there, my goal materialised before me.

"Haa..." Misty breaths escaped my lips as my eyes witnessed all five friends sleeping together in the same room.

My thoughts were a mess, but within the chaos, I could hear certain words echo from the very depths of my soul, filled with anger and loathing.

'... KILL YOU ALL!'

'... SLEEPING SO PEACEFULLY...'

'... MONSTERS!'

'... I HATE YOU!'

With each step forward, I observed how peacefully they slept.

Empty snack wrappers littered the floor, and soda bottles stood as silent witnesses to their pre-slumber feast.

It seemed they had actually stuffed their faces before crashing for the night.

"Haa..."

HOW DARE THEY?

'I WAS STARVING, YOU KNOW? STARVING ENDLESSLY...'

While I endured days of unending darkness and ravenous hunger, they were having the time of their lives, gorging themselves on my food.

They had fun, didn't they?

At that moment, hunger and fear ceased to haunt me.

This was merely a dream, after all.

I drew closer to the group, my eyes locked on the bed.

While there were five in the room, they all slept in scattered locations.

One lay covered beneath a duvet, two rested on spare mattresses, leaving the other two on the bed—Jake and LISA.

In the darkness, my eyes reddened as I stared at the pair.

"Haaa..."

These bastards. They were monsters beyond even the Demons that prowled the night.

They deserved to die!

'Let's start with you... BITCH!' I moved my hands, drawing them closer to her succulent neck.

It seemed so pure and delicate. What would happen if they became sullied with my dark, dirty, grimy hands?

'Hehe... hehehe....heheheheheehehee...'

Placing my hands gently on her throat, I began to squeeze.

I applied pressure, concentrating all the anger and pain I felt.

'Die.'

Tighter, pressing upon her skin.

'DIE!'

Digging deeper and crushing the delicate swanlike neck.

'DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!'

I could already hear her choking. Her once-pale Caucasian skin now bore crimson splotches, and her face, contorted in red, filled me with an even greater sense of satisfaction.

'THIS IS WHAT YOU DESERVE!'

That's right.

'YOU DESERVE TO DIE!'

Even after I had saved her life, offered her my home, shared my meals generously, confided my deepest secrets, and had even considered her a friend.

'YOU LIED TO ME!'

She betrayed me. She made me suffer for so long.

'YOU SELFISH BITCH!'

After a relentless struggle and incessant choking, Lisa finally succumbed to unconsciousness, teetering dangerously on the brink of death.

If I kept this up for barely a few seconds more, she would be dead.

But then... then...

'Y-you... you selfish bitch...'

In that moment, a rush of memories flooded my mind – her infectious smile, the way she laughed, the tears we'd shed, and the meaningful conversations we'd shared.

'You... you...'

I felt my grip loosen, and I staggered a few steps backward.

More memories came rushing - her cold, unfeeling eyes and her heartless actions. The last words she'd spoken to me echoed in my heart.

'... I can't...'

My eyes, once filled with murderous rage, now reflected something different.

The blurred vision before me held one undeniable truth.

"Hicc... hicc..."

Bitter tears streamed down my cheeks as an overwhelming sadness enveloped me.

'Why would you do that to me? I... I trusted you...'

Why would anyone inflict such cruelty on another human being?

I didn't deserve this.

All I wanted was to survive.

What was so wrong about that?

She deserved to feel the pain I felt.

She was the one who was clearly in the wrong.

She deserved to die.

And so did Jake and all her friends who had partaken in this horrendous act. They all deserved agonizing and brutal ends.

'B-but I can't do it...'
