Chapter 22: Training
Chapter 22: Training
"Nine nine seven…"
A grunt rang.
"Nine nine eight…"
"Kuh!"
"Nine nine eight."
"Wait again?!"
"You messed up your form."
"It's fine! Just once!"
I swirled the wine in my hand and clicked my tongue.
"No time to slack off, Relafan. This is about your life. Nine nine eight!"
"You're doing it agaaain!"
"This is for being whiny. Come on, no lazy lazy now."
"You're lazing around too!"
The hero snapped as he went down again.
"You wish, cunt. I have long since hit thirty in all stats."
"Whak—"
A strange yelp rang out as he fell face first on the ground, his neck smooching the sweet previously bloodied, and definitely not hygienic ground of the bunker, like a long-separated lover.

Following him after he collapsed was the chair that was being balanced on his feet on just two legs.
Making him do finger handstand pushups with a chair on his back was the most efficient way to make him start seeing some gains.
"You still went down so I'll count that. One thousand."
The hero slowly separated his lips from his lover (unhygienic and definitely a health hazard) as he turned to face me from the ground.
"You hit thirty? For reals?"
"It's been two weeks, do I look like a you to you?"
"What does that even mean?"
"Git gud is what it means."
It had been two weeks. Of course, I had finished what I set out to achieve. If I couldn't even do it in two weeks then I would be a loser too, which I wasn't. Everything was in the thirties except magical power, that is, which had just touched thirty and refused to grow.
My stat window looked somewhat like this now.

It wasn't bad, I would have liked to see more four or five digit numbers though.
At this point, if I had to guage it, I was roughly 0.00000000001% as strong as I was in the other world. That damned goddess bitch, this time I was going to kill and she could do nothing.
"Alright, start training again."
Relafan sighed and tossed the chair up. He immediately got on his hands once more and the chair neatly fell on the flats of his feet, balanced on just two legs.
With that guy at it, I sipped the wine once more and started circulating my Magic Power. The circulation technique made your body's pores open up and sucked in the magic power from the air.
"But still… my stats have been stuck for the last three days. How did you even get there?"
My Magic Power had been stuck too—
Oh.
"Neo Mack 3, you know anything about this?" I turned to the other side of the room and glared at the slime lazing about.
Neo Mack 3 perked up all of a sudden, and then squirmed around as it dashed toward us.
It turned at me and squinted its cute line-like eyes into two > < as a blue window popped open in front of me.
[17) Magic Potion:
Fills up your Magic Power reserves temporarily!

Hm.
"Do you mean this place is out of magic power?"
Neo Mack 3 nodded.
I smiled and picked it up in my hands.
"Then say so earlier you fucking slime!"
And tossed it into the wall. Neo Mack 3 was a slime, so it shouldn't hurt.
Sighing, I sat back down.
"Hero. Get out."
"What?"
"Go train outside, come back when your stats are at thirty and we'll look for ways to clear the second scenario."
I was getting bored now.
The hero hesitated a bit.
"Z-zombies…"
"Out."
"Yes sir..."
