Chapter 67: Dungeon Part 8: Too many Dragons
Chapter 67: Dungeon Part 8: Too many Dragons
Tyr eyes pop as he looks at the level 18 Dragon in front of him. Its brown scale eye opens, piercing into Tyr. The heavily armoured dragon sluggishly stretches, loud cracks of bone and long caked dirt. Its claws are as sharp as ever scratching an old itch. An almost knee bending yawn sucks out all the air on the pit. The walls glow with lava making the pit a sauna of heat. Some plants with the fire element are also darting the pit. Using the rivers of lava much like a water well.
A slash of fires follows the vacuum. The dragons' breath is control is almost a knife of fire. Tyr smiles his domain is fire and with Suns' Shadow, this hell fire will do no damage. Tyr prepares to attack inside the flames only to be pushed back into the wall. The dragon chuckles stammers and growls he can't make out what it is saying but he can hear the pity.
Tyr says, "you got me bro, I was feeling a little cocky." Tyr with his understanding of the game is filled with confidence. Being able to use his utilisation to thirty per cent is pretty good. Now without a weapon, he has to rely on his other domain skill [Shot of Fire]. The skill only costs 20 mp and has an insane cooldown of five seconds. Similar to how Frey has half her power to cast the spell at a higher rate having a perfect affinity with an element also gives double-cast speed. The reason he has been avoiding using it is that it would give away that he is a warrior that has range skills with is very rare.
Out of all the skills in his arsenal this skill of his the most broken because he cast it every second. Similiar to the Infinity WItch Tyr can abuse his affinity to insta cast the fire spell. At their low levels, the minimum attack speed is an attack a second. Unlike Frey who releases a half-cooked spell Tyr can release an overcooked spell. Which if he didn't have perfect immunity would deal as much damage to him as it does to his enemy. This would put his current attack speed above that of Wizards though his low magic damage keeps his DPS low. At level eight 18 he can constantly fire of [Shot of Fire].
Tyr says, "That's very odd." He can't quite place the dragon it should be a drake but most earth drakes are much bigger and prefer close melee combat. They are in fact known as Dragon Fisters [T/N: no one says anything] in the future. Given how much drakes like to fight hand to claw.

[Sismic Wave] is a basic earth dragon skill. The Dragon in front roars creating earth aligned magic field. The crusty earth dragon stomps its legs. Chunks of dirt pile onto the dragons' back adding another layer of armour.
Lucinda looks around she is a vast open field filled with the sky for days. It stretches out as far as she can see in every direction. She runs about looking for the other none of the in-game communication methods are working. 'What am I suppose to do? Where the hell is I even.' She had already accepted the in-game prompt that the next space is a folded land. The green grass is fresh and unending. One odd line with some humps in the distance appears to be the only thing of note in this space. She rushes towards. 'Hopefully, I can get some answers there.'
Lucinda sees too late that is a dragon. Thin long and blue as the sky. Gentle features smooth sublime scales. A life-threatening dragons' breath so cold it burns. She has never seen such a creature [Level 18 - Monster]. Lucinda puts up her shield and is pushed back lucky for her there is nothing for her to bump into. Unfortunately, it also means there is nothing for her to hide behind.
Lucinda says, " Come on man! A dragon really." The scales even though pretty are those of a dragon the shimmer in multiple colours like all dragons. This one doesn't have claws but also doesn't have any distinctive features she is familiar with. She thinks, 'The closest thing is maybe some kind of Long."
Lucindas' mind fills with ideas the games is known to be fair. Hell Unity deleted player accounts in the name of fairness. 'There must be a way to win. No, don't be silly that is madness you not Tyr. Fuck he was brilliant plus he said we can all do it just think about your skills. Plus usually, the only way out of these things is to defeat the monster or be defeated."
Lucinda yells as she runs towards the Dragon a crack of the cannon going off! Off goes the crack a cannon straight into the mouth of a Raptor dragon. Rena is has appeared in a stinky dinghy of marsh filled with skin-crawling reptiles. A murderous bog and now a ninety-nine toothed Raptor. This two-legged dragon is one of the lower dragons Tyr talked about. He had gone on this spiel about lower dragons and their dangers. Rena at the time had been more concerned with the battle log. She is trying to figure out how Tyr did that massive display of power. Nothing she has ever seen comes close to it. Plus the way he moves even when he is not fight using a combat skill his moves closely mimic them.
The raptor is fast but thanks to the marsh and that ankle spraining bog she managed to avoid it so far. She is just mad that the water here is too muddy and it smells like Nicolai. She chuckles at that last thought Nicolai is the leader of those brutes that were Lead by Werner. On second thought thinking about Nicolai makes her skin crawl that guy has the aura about him that he constantly undressing you with his eyes and touching himself. Especially the way he licks his lips too like a sexual deprived predator.
Another pop of her canon as monstrous jaw snap at her. The Raptor caught on some vines takes another shot to the face. Her face is shot devoid of all colour. Amalya is standing in front of monsters from legend. She is looking at a pendragon. Pendragons are those dragons found mostly in west European stories like the legend of King Arthur, Siegfried and brunhilde and so on. Most people nowadays don't appreciate the classics as she does. The age of the mouse in cinema in her humble experience never ventured far enough with their three-dimensional adaptations. The chateau de Souris film company should have made leaned into the horror. Which right now is trying to eat her alive.
Amalya like in those classic movies says, " Have at me beast!" Another pop her cannon as she wails into the dragon. It s flaps its wings stunned at the insect marching towards its own death.
Nineth Immortal slowly floats down in the water. She can make out a faint dragon outline. [Monsters Analyses ]
[Ancient Leviathan -?????]
Level 325
Health ???????????????????/?????????????????????
Nineth Immortal nearly drowns from shock. She has to find a way to activate the tattoo again to weaken the Leviathan like she did the Lindwuurm. A she gets closer she sees that four of scale are light controlling bubbles of air in which her teammates are in. She swims around just above the combat are the strong current must have made it impossible for them to stop from going down. The pull is extraordinarily strong but with her wings, she can keep out of its range and magic. She tries to open the battle log one of the easiest ways to learn an opponent's skill is the logs.
Swimming around in the cool waters of the lake, SHe can see that it doesn't appear to be hurting them yet. Nineth Immortal says, "try talking to it maybe?" She is after all liked to dragons'. So she should be able to maybe get them free somehow. She knows her musings are pure fantasy but alas a girl can dream. She knows she has to get its attention somehow. Obviously attacking in the way others the team would be fighting that monster. Plus this skill it's using has trapped all of them meaning it could have no limit on the number of people it can catch in its trap. Plus what other kinds of traps does it have. At least if the others were here she could find a workaround with their help.
Nineth Immortal positions herself above the Leviathan far enough that she can make a quick retreat back to the surface. IN case this dragon goes nuts and tries to fry the living experience out of her. Nineth Immortal growls in Dragons' Speak, Let my people go!" That last bit came about more as a roar Her first words were also projected as a command. The Leviathan a little startled looks around Nineth Immortal thinks it's scared then see she it's furious. Pulsing waves of thundering sound escape from the monster.
Knocking Nineth Immortal back she hers his response!
