Reincarnated as a Dog with System

Chapter 213 Little Doggy, Sit! Part1

Alex stood rooted to the spot as soon as she heard that familiar voice that she vaguely recognized. "What the heck?"

She turned to see the familiar metallic scales again. However, this time they had a crimson sheen to them.

Alex stared dumbfoundedly at the creature in front of her.

He had slit-like eyes that clearly belonged to a reptile and a powerful overwhelming aura seeped out of him that made her tremble subconsciously. Was he even human?

Just as she continued looking at him, the other party did not wait for her to snap back to reality and attacked the chimera she was fighting with while she was still in the way.

Alex only barely realized that a punch was flying towards her and she didn't have the chance to avoid it at all.

Pa! Pa! Pa!

A heavy blow landed on the chimera, grazing her body and sending her flying to the other side. She roughly landed, spitting out mouthfuls of blood.

When she gazed up in shock, she saw more blows being landed on the chimera and the huge beast was reduced to a mere pulp in a fraction of a second.

Everyone including Qin Hua stopped for a second and witnessed the scene.

"Hmmm? That's the enemy, right? Did I do something wrong? Why are you all looking at me?" Su Yan shrugged his shoulder and walked over to the next chimera.

In between his fingers was the mana core of the previous chimera and he played with it like a coin doing tricks in the air while using his other hand to pummel the next target and finish it.

No one said anything. Clearly, he was not remorseful for being careless and injuring Alex.

Qin Hua narrowed her eyes at the person, but then she shook her head and decided to take care of things first before even thinking about this big issue.

Lu Chen sighed, also having similar thoughts. Now was not the time to deal with his infuriating friend who had lost most of his memories.

With both him and Qin Hua finishing everything up, all the chimeras and the frost orcs were quickly picked clean and there was no longer any hostile party left on the battlefield.

When the last beast fell dead on the streets of the city that could no longer be recognized, there was a pin drop silence.

Those who had no idea who Su Yan was, also did not know if the crimson colored colored monster was a friend or a foe.

They could only look at him with an unknown fear creeping up inside.

Only when Lu Chen and the wolf walked over to him casually, they sighed in relief. "Can you take that off, Su Yan? It's making everyone uneasy."

"Hmmm…" Su Yan hummed, first taking a look around him. He then retracted his metallic scales reluctantly.

"You seem to have a lot more control now over your powers." Lu Chen smiled and patted him. "Shall we talk for a bit?"

Su Yan silently nodded with an indifferent expression.

Lu Chen then gave a set of instructions to everyone for securing the meat for food and asked them to heal themselves by handing over some things to Coco.
He then walked away to chat with his friend who was a total stranger now.

Qin Hua was also curious. She followed them, listening to what they were saying without even bothering to look at her notifications about mission completion and etc.

Coco became busy but she reluctantly looked over to her master every now and then because of the strange presence near them. For some reason, it made her feel uneasy.

Su Yan, Lu Chen, and Qin Hua walked away from the rest of the group and they settled inside an empty deserted restaurant a couple of streets away.

"So?" Su Yan tapped his index finger on the table and muttered absentmindedly as he looked around at the abundant greenery, different buildings squeezed in between.

"Can you tell me what you are thinking? You must be feeling nervous and frustrated? You can ask me anything you want to know. I will try to fill in as many details as I possibly can."

Lu Chen smiled. "Maybe this might even jog your memory?"

"Hmmm? Is that so?" Su Yan continued tapping, clearly not interested. He paused for a while before nodding.

"I guess having the rest of my memories back is not totally useless. Fine, why don't you give me a brief summary of my life? You have 10 minutes. 1. 2. 3. Go!"

Lu Chen's eyes twitched. This guy was really getting on his nerves. Even without his memories, he couldn't possibly understand how his friend could be someone like this.

Qin Hua, however, was observing other things. [Woof! He can still use language and numbers. Seems to know how to talk and walk and sit and even fight. So maybe surface brain damage?]

[Should I try using a healing potion?]

She observed the useless interaction between the two guys which was not particularly going anywhere.

[Alright. It's just 1 health potion. After all the health potions I have wasted on this guy, what's one more?!] She smiled bitterly and purchased a health potion from the system.

She had quite a bit of weapons that she had plundered from the frost orcs so she didn't have to tighten up her purse strings just yet.

She rested her head gently on the ground and waited for the two to catch up.

An hour later, Lu Chen finally finished explaining a lot of things, starting from when they met to up until what had happened to make him lose consciousness, even including everything that after.

Qin Hua almost felt sleepy hearing everything. She was calmly observing Su Yan's expressions the entire time and his eyes ever so often flickered towards her as well.

Every time she expected him to say something but the person did not seem to be interested in that at all. The next time he looked at her, she simply glared back at him with a sulky snarl.
