Reincarnated as both God and The Devil

Chapter 249: World... Eater?

Chapter 249: World... Eater?

"Let's just say

...I am a god?"

"!!!"

All of the people in the room quickly took in a long and very deep breath as they all looked towards Viel. Their thick hairs were now wiggling in the air as if showing the creeping anxiety that was growing inside of them.

But after a few seconds of this weirdness, the biggest of the blue-skinned humanoids stepped forward.

"You dare claim yourself to be God!?"

"No, I didn't say I am your god, but just a god--"

"Silence, we will not take this mockery of our faith in silence!"

Viel could not even finish his words before a sword seemingly made of light was pointed at his neck.

[It's a Lusterblade!] Lu Yi quickly screamed inside Viel's mind, [Quick, steal it!]

'...Later, it seems cool. What I need now is tips on how to deal with aliens.'

[I don't know, never met one]

[Haven't even stepped out of my earth]

'...Jack?'

[Just talk to them calmly, like how you talk to your students back in Xanthus's world]

Upon hearing that, Viel took in a light breath and smiled. His jet-black eyes then wandered across the room even though they were blind, landing on each of the people inside the room.

"Children," Viel then calmly said as his quiet voice reverberated through the entire hall, "I don't appreciate this kind of behavior."

Viel then calmly grabbed the so-called Lusterblade, causing a slight sizzle to whisper into everyone's ears.

[No, Viel. This is not what I meant by--]

"You all deserved to be spanked," Viel then lightly pushed the man that pointed the lusterblade at him, causing the man to roll over a few times, leaving the blade on Viel's hand, "And I am confiscating this."

The lusterblade then quickly disappeared from his hand, as if millions of fireflies were eating it-- at least that was what the people around him were seeing, in truth, he just stored it in his [Item Box].

Seeing this, everyone in the room pointed their weapons toward Viel, ready to shoot at him at any time with their laser guns. But before any of them could do anything, the woman that spoke to Viel earlier quickly raised her hand.

"Are all of you out of your minds!? Hold your fire!" The woman said as she once again slowly approached Viel.

"Is this wise, N'eeuq?" One of her men could not help but quickly block her path.

"Step aside, this is not your call."

Being stared down by their leader, the man that blocked her path could only step to the side. But still, he pointed his gun towards Viel, as if telling him not to do anything rash.

"I apologize for my men's rudeness," the woman said, "My name is N'eeuq, I am the General managing the Space force of planet Keman."

"Finally," Viel could not help but groan in frustration as someone finally introduced themselves to him, "Hello. I am from planet, uh Xingcai."

Although Viel didn't have any memories of the moments he had together with Xing Cai, it was the first name that popped out of his mind for some reason.

"We have not heard of that planet before," N'eeuq shook her head, "Perhaps you can point where you came from here?" N'eeuq then tapped the screen attached to her arm, causing a giant hologram of what seemed like a map to appear.

"I can't," Viel quickly said.

"I I see. It is unfortunate that you do not wish to divulge it, I would have loved to be the one to discover a planet outside the Known Universe."

"No, I'm just blind so I can't see whatever it is you're trying to show me."

"...You're blind?" N'eeuq's hair once again wriggled in the air as she curiously looked towards Viel. With the actions he has shown so far, there wasn't anything indicating that he was not able to see just what kind of species did this alien come from, N'eeuq thought.

In their Known Universe, there were 21 planets that had sentient life, with them being the most technologically advanced. Less than half of that number had their own civilization, and only a quarter advanced enough to travel to space by themselves.

But none were capable of surviving in space for 20 years without any craft. The alien in front of him looked like the female species of one of the planets. She initially thought that Viel belonged to them, but his feats said otherwise.

Was he some sort of biological weapon they made? But they were not advanced enough to do that.

"It's not nice to stare, you know."

Her thoughts were then disrupted as Viel approached her, "I thought you could not see!?"

"I could still feel everything in my surrounding area, and I could feel all of you staring at me That's not cool, yo."

"That's--"

"Anyway," Viel interrupted N'eeuq before she could even say anything, "Since you're the general of the space force of planet Kamikazee or something, do you know where the Planet of the Gods is? I got lost while on my way there, you see."

"...No, I am afraid there's no planet by that name here," N'eeuq furrowed her eyebrows from once again hearing Viel say the word 'God'.

"But perhaps someone in my planet does," N'eeuq said as she tapped the screen on her arm, "...Would you like to visit Keman?"

"Keman? Where's that?"

"...My planet."

"Right, right," Viel patted N'eeuq's shoulders, "Do you have good food?"

"The best in all 21 planets," N'eeuq let out an arrogant smile as she gestured for his men to disperse. Some of them still carried hesitation on letting Viel stay in their ship, but none of them could disobey the orders of their General.

"What are we waiting for, then?" Viel said as he clapped his hand, "I haven't eaten for 20 years, I could eat your whole planet."

"!!!" N'eeuq could not help but take in a deep breath as she heard Viel's words.

"...Figuratively," Viel quickly said as he noticed the sudden shift in N'eeuq's body.

"Right, of course of course," N'eeuq could only laugh awkwardly.

Was it really the right decision to let him stay? She thought as she instantly regretted offering him to go to their planet. But alas, she had no idea how this Viel would react if she suddenly takes back her offer.

Her only wish is that this Viel did not eat other species for breakfast.
