Chapter 77 Criminale (II)
"Arrrggh!"
The sound of screams echoed through the building. The gangsters panicked as they saw their comrades falling and covered in blood.
The metal spheres shot out with bullet-worthy speed, knocking down dozens of gangsters. Most of them were non-awakeners. Ordinary people could not withstand the damage.
Within seconds, half the enemy had fallen.
Seeing the scene before his eyes, Roach ground his teeth while blood rose to his head.
The bald man shouted, "Izzy, attack that guy!"
The woman in the iron gauntlet and a pair of white direwolves attacked Klaus.
"Hya!" Izzy screamed as she jumped at Klaus.
BAM!
She hit the ground, and a roar filled the room. Klaus pulled the metal spheres back, but they fell to the floor.
Naturally, Klaus raises an eyebrow.
He lost control of the metal spheres and asked Laplace to identify his enemies. Especially those three awakeners.
"Tell me their information," Klaus muttered.

"Troublesome."
Clucking his tongue, Klaus understood why he had lost control of his weapon. The green-haired man apparently created a magnetic field, allowing him to control every metal object around him.
"Watch out!" Sylvia shouted.
Above Klaus, a direwolf with a slobbering mouth was about to pounce on him. With only a finger gesture, a metal sphere shot out and pierced its skull. He kept some metal under his sleeves. Blood flowed, and brain matter scattered as it collapsed.
Having just killed one direwolf, another monster pounced on Klaus from the side, but Sylvia slammed into it before its claws touched him.
BAM!
"Keeeug!"
The last direwolf was knocked to the ground, and then Sylvia launched repeated fists. The wolf monster writhed for a moment before it finally died.
"Sylvia!"
When the red-haired woman turned her head, a fist in an iron gauntlet was about to land on her face. Naturally, she deflected it with an elbow in a matter of seconds. But another attack was coming.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Gritting her teeth, Sylvia withstood Izzy's multiple fists. Sylvia used the same iron gauntlets, but she could still feel the blows piercing her bones.
Klaus jumped on them and landed a knee on Izzy on the face. She was thrown ten meters as her mouth spewed blood and teeth.
"Be careful, fighting her, Sylvia. She has a talent called [Penetration]. Every attack will ignore the opponent's defenses. You must avoid her attacks."
Sylvia nodded. "Damn it. It's troublesome."
She felt warmth flow through her hands while Klaus touched them. Klaus chanted [Cure] to heal her.
As he helped Sylvia to stand up, suddenly, the building shook. The dust on the ground formed strange patterns. Objects made of metal floated and spun in the air. Klaus' eyes were immediately drawn to one person. Dax.
The green-haired man created a magnetic field and controlled all the metal in the building.
Sylvia dropped her jaw as she saw this scene. Gritting her teeth, Sylvia was about to use [Time Rewind], but Klaus forbade her. He wanted Sylvia to save her remaining mana.
"Just give up!" shouted Roach. "Kneel if you don't want to die. But don't expect to get your comeuppance."
Instead of being scared after hearing that threat, Klaus laughed, and his loud echoed throughout the room. The gangsters saw it and could only frown.
"Are you crazy? Maybe you can finish off my men. But you can't escape this magnetic field." Roach gave a warning for the second time.
"Just a few minutes ago, you wanted to kill us. Now you want us to surrender? What a joke." Klaus shook his head.
"Son of a bitch. Don't get cocky just because you managed to kill a few of my men. You'll never get away from this place."
"Look at this," Klaus said to Roach.
He raised his hand, and the metal objects floating in the air stopped moving.
The green-haired man furrowed his brow, and cold sweat started pouring out of his face. No matter how much Dax ran mana, he couldn't move them.
"What's wrong, Dax?" asked Roach.
"I can't!" said Dax through his teeth. "I can't control them."
Roach and Izzy squinted. All this time, they had never seen Dax have trouble controlling the iron whenever he created a magnetic field.
Suddenly, all the metal moved over Klaus' head. They gathered and made a ball of scrap metal. Of course, it made the gangsters twist their faces in confusion. Especially Dax.
Dax was king if he was in his magnetic field. No matter how strong his enemy's metal element affinity was, they could not bend or manipulate metal.
Even Sylvia was dumbfounded at the scene before her. She was both astonished and amazed by Klaus. It was as if the man had no limits. For some reason, she felt lucky not to be his opponent.
On the other hand, the person who caused the situation was smiling broadly.
"Are you think only you can create a magnetic field? Sorry, this is just child's play to me," Klaus taunted.
"No fucking way," Dax mumbled, denying it.
Klaus laughed.
Clenching their fists, Roach and his men were shocked. Some of them gulped. If those metals were shot at them, dozens of lives would be lost in an instant. They were unable to withstand the damage.
CRACK. Creaking iron echoed throughout the room. The gangsters began to panic. Those who could still stand saved their lives. While they were running away in fear, Roach ordered Izzy to attack Klaus.
When the woman shot out, her gauntlet was dislodged due to the effect of the magnetic field. Izzy was shocked for a few moments before Sylvia seized it as an opportunity.
The redhead woman attacked her.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
They went toe-to-toe. Those who watch the battle could hear the sound of bones crashing together.
While those two were fighting, Klaus was about to launch his attack.
Klaus whispers, "Bye, bye."
Dax broke out in a cold sweat, unable to control his magnetic field, and the gangsters previously injured by the metal sphere could only resign themselves to their fate.
The leader, Roach, his face turned dark.
"STOP!"
As the irons shot out, a woman's scream broke the tension. Klaus, familiar with that voice, held back his attack, and the irons stopped airborne instantly.
A woman with short black hair appeared among the enemies. Klaus opened his eyes wide as he recognized who she was.
"Why are you here? Go back to the basement!" Roach exclaimed.
However, she didn't listen to him. Instead, she ran into the center of the battle. The woman stood between them.
"Sheila!? What are you doing? Get out of the way." Klaus screeched through his teeth.
His secretary twisted her face in confusion. It took a few seconds before she recognized her boss.
