Chapter 217 - 217 chapter 211
217 chapter 21The butler stood there with an unending smirk. “It’s time to forget what you saw. Forget what you heard, forget what you felt. You humans did not come here and did not see anything, got it,” he whispered in a husky tone.
Like frozen puppets, the cops nodded and walked back to their cop car.
The butler sighed and stepped out of the house. He walked straight over to their car and brought out the gallons of gallons of petrol and poured it all around the premise. Throwing a lit match, he watched the house going ablaze.
After which he threw the canisters inside as well, destroying all evidence. He made a call and whispered, “Clean up this area.” He then slowly removed his pristine white glove and pocketed it. “What shall we do now master,” he whispered gazing at the desolate man that was standing frozen next to the fiercely burning house.
“Shall we erase his memory again? If so.....it would be too bad. He is a young child after all,”
“Erase it...erase it all. It’s too dangerous. I don’t want him to remember about our species,” Bao whispered desolately and gazed at the direction the dragon disappeared. “Sun Yu.... he has become to brazen, he has touched my bottom line. Let’s take care of that baseless human first,”
“No! Master, we have to erase memory as soon as possible or else it might not be possible,” The butler added walking closer to his desolate master.
With a woeful sigh, Bao nodded. He followed the direction that the dragon had gone, but Long had skilfully hidden his scent trail. “Check the Cctv in this area, I need to know where they have gone. That stupid dragon is bringing me more trouble than worth,” he grumbled and got into his car. The whiskey stench still lingered, yet Bao did not bother. He started making calls rapidly and soon he was able to pin point his master Xia and Long’s location.
“They are in S-park. Go there soon,” he ordered the butler and sat tonight in the back. His clammy hands clenched he gazed out the window. “I didn’t expect our first meet to be so.....” He couldn’t help but feel anxious.
.....
“Master, it was about time little Sheng Sheng knew,” the butler added softly.
Bao nodded. “He has to know, but not so soon....he is too young and his mother....she would not accept,” he mumbled with a downcast look. He dwindled with his thumb sadly.

“it was your fault master you should not have erased her memory, otherwise you all would have been a happy family,” the butler added with a frown.
Bao sighed again. “don’t remind me, I regret the decision till now,” he growled. It was because of his stupid decision he had to stay so far from his own child. Yes, Little Sheng was his son. His own flesh and blood.
After arriving to this world, the respected fox demon never got involved in any illicit relationship with any human. But one fateful day he had been too drunk and mistook a woman as his master Xia. She was bewitched by his looks, and he was a drunken mess. He had consummated their relationship, for which he was shameful till this day.
The next morning he was filled with regret and disgust in himself. He had used a human woman as a substitute to cope with his raging feelings for his master. It was the most disgusting thing he had ever done in his life. Riddled with guilt, he had requested his trusted butler to erase both their memories of their fruitful night.
After which both went n with their life as normal, the human woman did not enter his life and he had forgotten all about her.
One day he was on his way to office as usual when suddenly a small kid tumbled in front of his car. Startled, he had helped him up.
The little kid looked just like him, with his startling blue eyes and shimmering red hair that trademarked a fox gene.
Suddenly a woman ran over to him and took the child out of his hands.
The butler was started too.
That’s when he knew that he royally screwed up. That fateful night with this human had resulted in a child. A child which he did not know existed until then.
After that he ordered his butler to retrieve his memory of her, his son’s mother. A few secret body guards were appointed to each of them to protect them at all cost. They were his family, irrespective they knew of him or not. He wanted to protect them at all cost.
But this overwhelming protection only led them in danger. His business rivals would do anything to bring him down, even going to the lengths to kidnap his dear son.
“Darn them, darn them all, these fucking humans. I have been so patient not hurting anyone, but they had to pull my tail. Fucking hell with them all,” he kicked the seat in front.
The butler who was shaking from all the kicks to his seat, sighed. “Master, stop acting like a kid. I’m driving here, kicking my seat is distracting me a lot,”
“Then concentrate on the road, darn it,” Bao growled.
The butler rolled his eyes. ‘He is still is easy to lose his cool, thronging tantrums like a child. Grow up master. I can’t blame him either he just found out his son was kidnapped and saved. Yet still... “Stop kicking my seat, will you master,” he grumbled out loud.
Only after that did the Bao stop kicking.
Silently they followed the slow moving traffic to S-park. The butler parked in a free spot. Before he could open the door, his master jumped out and ran. Sighing, he got out as well.
Bao ran..He started looking around, but it had already become dark. So faces were not easy to distinguish. “Master Xia! Master Xia, where are you?” he shouted.
“Bao?” a small voice resounded in a small corner next to a huge tree.
Bao ran over to that spot and gazed down. The silly dragon was holding his master and his child in his hands in a protective embrace. His eyes first went to his son, but the child had burrowed his face into his master’s chest. He was not even able to see his face.
“Bao, what are you doing here? I thought you had something important to do?” Xia whispered, raising a quizzical brow.
‘You and the little one in your arm are my important business,’ how could he say this. He sighed and explained, “I have taken care of it. And this...this child in your arm. It’s better to send him over to his mother,” he pointed to sheng sheng.
“oh, do you know his mother? I think it’s better we send him directly to her,” Xia added, gazing down at the little kid. He softly kissed his spiky red hair and sighed. He really like him and was sad to part with him. Yet he knew the anguish his mother would be in knowing her son is missing. So he decided to send him off after healing his wounds.
“Little Sheng, Little sheng, wake up,” Xia softly patted his cheeks.
The little one blinked softly and hugged his waists tightly.
“Little sheng, let me see your face,” He softly cupped sheng sheng’s face and wiped the blood from the corner of his face. “Poor sweetie, did that bad man hurt you?” he whispered softly for which the kid nodded.
Bao growled from the side, making the kid tremble even more.
“Don’t growl please, the kid is scared” Xia added throwing an apprehensive look at him. he then softly applied healing salve to his wounds.
Bao controlled his overwhelming anger and summoned his harmless smile. “I’m sorry, a—are you okay?” he whispered softly.
Sheng sheng peered at him without a word. He then softly held out his hands at him, asking for a hug.
Bao’s heart shuddered. He held his small outstretched hands and brought him over to his embrace. His son’s warmth and familiar scent filled his mind, making him ecstatic. “I won’t let anything happen to you ever again. Don’t be scared anymore, I will always be near,” he whispered with silent tears dripping down his face.
Sheng sheng glanced up and wiped his cheeks with a small smile.
With tears still dripping down his cheeks, he glanced at his butler reluctantly.
The demon butler walked forward with his palm outstretched.
Seeing this, sheng sheng burrowed his face in Bao’s embrace, shaking his head continuously.
“Shh, it won’t hurt dear, it’s for your own safety.” Bao softly rocked him.
Sheng sheng did not let the demon butler anywhere close. He started struggling and whimpered, “don’t...don’t bring flowers. I don’t like that flower man,”
Xia and Long came forward and took the kid from his hands. “What are you doing? Stop it! The poor kid is petrified,” he shouted, hugging him protectively.
The butler squatted down and whispered, “We have to erase his memory master Xia. Humans.... if they know of our existence it will only be dangerous for him as well as us,” he kindly explained.
Sheng sheng started sobbing. “Please....don’t e—erase my memory daddy. I don’t want to forget you,” his face strained with tears, he held his hands out to Bao pitifully.
