Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 139: Expelled

Just when the players still in the line began gossiping of Herald Fist's failure and loss of influence to Gentle Wind, an unexpected news suddenly surfaced on the game forum.

"Wait, everyone, check the game forum post!" One of the players within the line suddenly shouted in shock and surprise.

Due to the person's shouting, some curious folk among them began checking the forum post.

Shortly, their expression went from confusion to astonishment.

"Holy crap! Is this post for real?"

"It's real… there's even a screenshot of the Inferno Tyrant being defeated!"

"Haha, I knew Guild Leader Herald Fist has some skills."

"As expected of the Tyrant Fist guild!"

At the last statement made by a player, everyone else turned to him with a perplexed expression.

The forum post was about Herald Fist completing the Hell Mode difficulty Scorched Caverns as well, but never did they expect someone to change their mindset so quickly.

They were here in an attempt to be recruited for the Silver Wind Guild, but were complimenting a rival guild.

Just what was wrong with them?

"Huh? What's the matter?" The player who made that last statement found himself somewhat ostracized, with many distancing themselves from him.

"Bro, I don't know you." One of the people that distanced said decisively.

Despite that, there was one kind fellow among the group and merely made an eye-signal for the confused player.

When the confused player followed that signal, he turned around and his face ashen immediately.

After all, there was one woman standing with a bright and gentle smile, but anyone with discerning eyes could tell the smile was filled with murderous intent.

And that woman was none other than SilentWhisper, who had just vowed to make sure the recruitment process would run smoothly.

'This bastard is a spy from the Tyrant Fist guild, right?' SilentWhisper cursed silently, ready to kill the player at any moment.

"T-That was not my intention, organizer!" The player hurriedly raised his hand in an attempt to defend his words.

Alas, it was a little too late and SilentWhisper extended her hand out as a gesture, an indication to get the hell out.

No words were required to be said by her for others to understand the meaning.

Thus, the player gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

With a brave and attempted upfront behavior, he snorted, "Hmph, whatever! I, Storm Rider, am not someone who needs the Silver Wind guild. It is the Silver Wind guild who needs me."

As the proclaimed Storm Rider made his exit statement, he left the line in a puff, most likely because he was too ashamed to remain in the scene.

Storm Rider's exit from the scene didn't garner any sympathy from the rest.

In fact, it made others wary and excited about the Silver Wind guild further.

Only a true guild would be decisive in their actions without any regret.

To blatantly talk about the greatness of a rival guild in front of the recruitment process, and not receive any punishment.

Who would want to join such a spineless guild then?

Meanwhile, SilentWhisper faked a cough and turned to the crowd.

"What you do is your freedom, but I hope that you can keep things to yourself or at least try to be discreet. A guild is different from an adventurer team and has more regulations and rules." She kindly explained, her expression cold and solemn.

After the explanation, she returned to her spot, and pretended that the earlier farce didn't happen.

When those players in the sea of crowd saw her demeanor, they were stunned speechless.

"S-S-So damn cool!" One of the players muttered aloud, his eyes looked smitten.

"That Storm Rider should be called Regret Rider for missing this out!"

"I must join the Silver Wind guild at all costs!"

"Step on me, SilentWhisper~"

"..."

SilentWhisper was rendered speechless by the overreaction from the crowd, especially when some people utter such degenerate statements.

'Keep my composure.' She reminded herself and opened the game forum.

As soon as the game forum opened up, the new hot trending post was from the Tyrant Fist guild. Within the post were screenshots and video recording of Herald Fist and his members conquering the Scorched Caverns.

"Not good," SilentWhisper furrowed her brows in worry. She clicked on a few screenshots and watched a few seconds of the video. The evidence was legitimate and such an incident spelled disaster for their recruitment process.

"You guys oversee the recruitment process for now." SilentWhisper turned to her fellow comrades and instructed. "I'll need to meet with Guild Leader Gentle Wind."

Not even waiting for their response, SilentWhisper dashed out and went to look for Gentle Wind, who was currently doing an interview with OneManMedia in a discreet place.

"What are you doing here, SilentWhisper?" Steelshot quickly questioned in surprise when he noticed her appearance here.

"Shouldn't you be overseeing the recruitment process? Or were there some troublemakers making a mess?" He continued, rubbing his fist, seemingly ready to teach some people a lesson.

"Where's the guild leader?" SilentWhisper ignored his question and inquired about Gentle Wind whereabouts.

Steelshot pointed at the back and said, "The guild leader is having an interview—"

Before he could even finish his words, SilentWhisper ran ahead and shouted, "Guild Leader, there's trouble!"

Gentle Wind, who was answering some questions from OneManMedia, was stunned by the interruption.

She turned to SilentWhisper and with a stern tone, she asked, "What is with your manner?"

"A-Apologies, guild leader." SilentWhisper quickly bowed and explained, "You need to check the game forum."

A few minutes later, Gentle Wind finished checking on the game forum and chuckled. "You came all the way here because of Herald Fist's post?"

"Yes, wouldn't the post affect our recruitment process?" SilentWhisper exclaimed and continued, "A few players earlier were making a scene and even praised the Tyrant Fist guild, so I expelled them."

"Alright, you did good." Gentle Wind nodded.

"There's no need to recruit players like them who clearly can't remain loyal to our guild."

"Then are we—"

"Just continue the recruitment as usual and don't worry about the post. I have my own plan." Gentle Wind smiled amusingly, clearly not bothered by Herald Fist's achievement.
